"Seems I'm late to the party, huh?"Veronica Hawkins said entering, sparks surrounding her. Her darker complexion was sporting a dark blue swimsuit like outfit. It was a tight one piece with black leather boots and a short trench coat, dark blue with light blue bolts on her shoulder. Her hair was short but styled, and lower around her eyes, her dark blue mask. She also had a piercing under her lip on her lower left side. They didn't know about the sparks coming off her yet but it was because she was excited, adrenaline pumping. She still couldn't control it when she got this excited and she couldn't help but admit she felt bottled up sometimes in college. Animal Man had told her once or twice she really had to work on that but going zen was out of both of their leagues. While the one in the american suit was showing off his abilities, Veronica turned her attention to the level headed chicks.

"I'm Shock."She said raising her eyebrow with a half smile at robo-chick. She was pretty hot. Not that anyone could see it of course but she did blush a bit. Bat sidekick was cute too. Veronica noticed a more intent stare coming from robo though, when it was announced Fate was up. Maybe they had something going on already. Scratching the back of her head, she wondered why she even agreed to be bossed around by someone other than Animal Man.

"You need to work on your teamwork skills. And especially how you treat people. You can be pretty abrasive and-"
"Are you trying to persuade me or bash me, because at this point in time I can't tell"
He shook his head. "You didn't let me finish. I think working with them will help sharpen your skills even better than i can do.We're quite a 'different pair' you and me, powers wise."
"What makes you think I'll be able to mesh anyway. I mean you said it yourself, it's a miracle we get on. Think about mixing in a bunch of half-baked heroes like me trying to give me orders..."she sighed. The frustration was starting to show and lightening was cracking.
To Veronica's surprise, he chucked. "You listen to me just fine...and i'm pretty sure someone worthwhile will be there."

Hmph. We'll see about those empty promises., Veronica thought.
"So uh, when do we stop showing off and save the day? Or should I go do it myself?", Veronica grinned.

Weaknesses - Besides standard human weakness, if completely drenched, powers backfire on her. Distance.

BRIEF Bio - Taken up by animal man after her powers came to fruition her first day of culinary school, and expanding her powers has really taken a toll on Veronica's school life. She still goes to classes but is finishing up a lot more slowly than she would have preferred. Her love life is also zilch thanks to training but besides her pseudo anger, she wouldn't have it any other way. She's also ready to step out of her elder brothers shadow.
Notes - Animal Man chose her immediately after reading her file, especially because of that free spirit of hers. Even though their powers aren't what some would think to mesh, their training regimen so far consists of Veronica trying to fling metal pads or rods up to Animals man speed as a monkey or jaguar in perfect synchronization. Next comes combat...
