"raven come sit over here." Jared said and saw someone sit down out of the corner of his eye, when he turned to see who it was he watched as she played with fire and his jaw almost dropped. "Cool." He said and looked at the group he was with. "I'll be right back." He said and practically flew to the table May was at. "How do you do that?"

Jared followed Raven into the dining hall and saw the other maids sitting together. "You said you'd get in trouble for sitting with us, but what if we sit with you?" he said and he walked over to the group of maids, smiling as he pulled out a chair. "Mind if I sit here?" he asked and waits for an answer, not wanting to be rude.

"I'm with him," Jared said as he pointed a thumb at Nico. "You should be able to eat wherever you want."

Hollow took a deep breath and stood as still as he could. He still wasn't so sure that it would work, but if it didn't at least being fried would hurt less than being eaten from the inside out. He met Kami's eyes and said "I'm ready when you are, sparkles." and he didn't move a muscle, didn't even breathe, as he waited for it to be over. Whether over meant his life or this experience is up for interpretation but either way Hollow was sure he was ready for it.

"It's nice to meet you too Raven." Jared said kindly, When she mentioned dinner he perked up. "Dinner? Would you mind pointing us in that direction?"

"Yeah, it would seem that way wouldn't it?" Jared says to Nico when he hears footsteps approaching and he looks up to see Raven coming toward them. "Hello there, I take it you're the maid here? I'm Jared, what's your name?"

"I was born somewhere in Germany, Elsterberg, I think it was. It's been a really long time. I've been moving around a lot after that, though, so I guess I could be considered from anywhere at this point." He adjusted his glasses a bit. "And you said you were of Navajo origins, I believe?"

Jared nodded. "My family and I are Navajo from Arizona in the southwestern United States. We moved around a lot too because we kept getting found out and had to run off to some other reservation because most people would just shun us but there were a few who wanted to kill us."

"Well, that sucks." Jared says and sighs, "I guess it's crackers for us then. So, where are you from Nico?" Jared asks, trying to keep the conversation going so he doesn't bore his new friend.

"Or we could sit here and eat crackers." Jared says as he pops another cracker in his mouth.

"Well, that's interesting. Maybe he had a point there. I guess it works for me, at least." At least he didn't find it to be too bad. That had been something he had thought would put most people off if he told them early on. Although, he didn't expect most people to be okay with knowing that at any point. Things really were different here.

"I don't really know if it worked or if he just lived for a really long time because he was healthy but I couldn't tell you for sure," Jared said with a shrug and ate another cracker. "Is there anything else to eat around here?" Jared said as he looked around, "if there isn't I'll probably just go hunt a rabbit as a fox or maybe a hawk. You think there are any critters around here?"
