I know, like I said, he's a work in progress, I'll change his name and use a tower shield. I'll also remove his history, but since you guys already read it I'll try to change it a bit.

Superhero RP Idea: Remake your heroes however you like

Alright, sounds good. I'm hoping for maybe one or two more people at least, but I'll put up the OOC in the next couple of days. (sorry it couldn't be sooner but I've been really busy) If you want me to take a look at your character and pre-approve it or something just PM me the character sheet and I'll look at it and most likely say its good to go.

Also, if you have any ideas for a name for the RP let me know. I was thinking something along the lines of Earth-*insert random number here* like Marvel does to keep track of its alternate universes, but that seems kind of lame so I'm not sure I want to use it.

Sorry I'm so late to the party, it was Easter and we had company, so yeah. Busy day, lots of cooking and entertaining. Jeb is kind of a work in progress, I wrote him up at the last minute because I know he is the kind of character I want to use, I just haven't figured out too much of his personality aside from being a kind and honorable knight/soldier type.

Also, I can't decide between a tower shield to block large boulders or other large projectiles that might get thrown at/dropped on the group or a kite shield, which is a bit smaller but more maneuverable so he won't get stepped on, what do you guys think? I'm leaning more toward the kite shield but a tower shield could be useful too.

Personality: Jared is an easy going kid. He has been called lazy by his parents and almost every teacher he has ever had because he spends most of his time looking out the windows or skipping school to hang out with friends, though after moving to this new place he has none.
BRIEF History: Jared was born on a reservation in New York and moved around with his family a lot because a lot of people were afraid of a family of skin walkers. He was never much of a fighter, preferring to talk his way out of tough situations or just run even though he did learn martial arts from a young age. (I didn't want to give too much away, let me know if this needs more)
Description: Jared is 5'8" tall and weighs about 140 pounds. Jared is Native American so he has light brown skin, jet black hair and brown eyes. He wears jeans and T-shirts most of the time and won't leave home without his necklace.
Weapon of choice: Jared likes to use hand-to-hand combat rather than a weapon.
Abilities/Powers: He is able to transform his body into any animal he wears the hide of. He currently carries with him a rabbit's foot, a rattlesnake's rattle and some crow feathers on a necklace.
Other: Jared is often fond of using his ability to scare or otherwise prank people, often getting himself, and his family, into trouble with regular humans and causing most of his families moves from one town to another.

Also I had an Idea for my character. If we are going to be filling different roles or choosing weapons I want my character to be a large guy that uses a tower shield and a spear or hammer. Have him be the tank, keeping the colossi busy so everyone can get to the weak spots and he can take the big hits so nobody else has to. What do you think?

You know, amalgam characters never even crossed my mind. It would certainly be interesting but I would prefer not to, just because things might get out of hand and someone might get butt-hurt that I said no to their OP character. I'm not going to stop you from making an amalgam, but if I could make an alternate suggestion that you may also like. You could make a spider-man/green arrow tag team. For example: during a fight have spider-man climb a building, web green arrow and leap off. Green arrow uses spider-man as a counter-weight and gets pulled up onto the building where he gets a bird's-eye-view of the action and can pick off targets from relative safety, meanwhile spider-man swings off to safety moments before hitting the ground and goes off to kick some ass on the ground. But, like I said, I won't stop you as long as he isn't over-powered and you don't use more than two people.

Normally I would say that you can use whatever characters you want but I was hoping to go for more of a comic book/superhero movie theme. You know, Thor, Batman, Spider-man, the X-Men. Also as for your other question, no, you are not required to change anything. By some miracle someone in the universe might be untouched by whatever event changes the stories history.

Anyway, sorry to both of you for the late reply, today was kind of hectic for me.
