Jack ran with the group and when he saw Mr. Winters he stopped dead in his tracks. "Oh, god." He said and put a shaking hand over his mouth. His hand then curled into a fist and he shoved it into a pouch on his belt, pulling out some steel ball bearings and shoving them in his mouth. He began to walk toward Mr. Winters and as Melinda threw him backward he began to run, his footfalls growing heavier as his flesh turned to smooth, polished steel and he barreled toward the old man, or what used to be an old man. He didn't know what this was now but it wasn't harmless old Mr. Winters. Not anymore.
That's perfectly fine and if we kill predator (which we can only do with your permission) then you are free to replace him with any character that strikes your fancy, her included.
She can be used as an NPC all you want, any character, even mentioned in passing, is available as an NPC, they just can't do much combat-wise or plot-wise. They're basically just background characters who don't do much aside from further your own personal plot-lines but, since they aren't claimed characters can also be used by other players.
I love that character, I do, but since we have a good number of people and some already have more than one character, and others may want to add another one later, I want to limit the number of characters to two per person to avoid overcrowding. However if you want to, since he hasn't made an entrance yet, you can swap out predator for her.

I should probably write that rule in the first post of the OOC to avoid confusion, huh?
Sorry about that, but not to worry, GG and I have a few things planned so there will be more action soon.
Wolf rode up beside Takeo and snapped her fingers in front of his face, pulling him back from his thoughts. He looked over at her and nodded, spurring his horse to keep up with the group, riding next to Wolf quietly until he said, "That thing may come back, we need to be ready, just in case", glancing at her before looking back out into the desert, scanning the horizon for movement. Whatever that massive thing was, a Colossus or whatever they were calling it, it was big and Takeo worried that if it found its way to the bridge it could kill them all if they were caught by surprise, so he wasn't going to let it surprise him if it did come for them.
Hank McCoy
Hank saw Tertia as she began hurling stone spikes at Grundy and leapt out of the way, not wanting to risk further injury. He stood at the ready to leap back into the brawl but as Grundy slowed and eventually stopped he realized there was no need. "Whoever you may be, thank you," Hank said as he stumbled back into the trees, trying to hide away from the prying eyes that were all around them. "If you had not intervened I would have been killed, I think he broke some of my ribs." Hank put a clawed hand against his furry chest and tried to take a deep breath, wincing as the pain grew worse. "I think I may need a doctor."

Kurt Halner
Kurt walked over to Spiderbolt as he and the Winged Shadow spoke. After the Winged Shadow gave Spiderbolt the remote Kurt spoke up. "Spiderbolt, I think you need to go to the hospital," He looked at the arrows still stuck in Spiderbolt and winced at the thought, "I know your secret identity is important but these might kill you if they're left alone." He grabbed Spiderbolts wrist and put his arm around his shoulders. "Let's go, I'll get you some help, I know some people, underground doctors, no licenses and no questions asked."
I'm fine with the martial arts and healing factor, Also, since she's a shapeshifter, she could become something huge like a gorilla and then she would be able to go toe-to-toe with Hank or Grundy or if she became something acrobatically inclined she could face off against most of the human characters and Kurt.
Takeo sighed slightly in relief when the girl turned away from him. He wasn't one for talking so the fact that she ignored him put him more at ease. He took in the view from atop the bridge as they rode in silence until Snowden grunted. He looked the way the man was pointing and saw the giant beast in the distance, it was bigger than anything he had ever seen before, and then it slid into the sand and vanished from view. "My god," He said as he stared at the place it had once been, not seeming to hear Ben's question as he stared into the distance, trying to see if there was any movement under the sand or if the thing would resurface.
I can't really know for sure but I don't think we were supposed to come across a Colossus this soon. I think we were supposed to entertain ourselves for a bit and then go looking when Casso came back on.
