I'm dropping out.
Delilah took one of the papers and flipped it over onto its blank side, she pulled out a pen from her bag and began writing in big letters 'Characters'. "Would you like to be a character?" She asked as she began writing out protagonists for the story. She sets the pen down and waits for Aiko to reply to her question, in the mean time Delilah grabbed the handle of her mug and finished off the rest of her coffee as well as finishing her breakfast bagel.
"You two seem very amazed, have you ever been to a large manor?" The maid turned her head to the side and glanced over at the two.
Ophelia nodded her head in reply, "Once." She sighed and stared out of the large windows in the hallway, giving her a good view of the setting up of the party. She appeared to be somewhat content with how things were going thus far.
"I hope you will do well with entertainment, what do you plan on doing?" The maid interrupted Ophelia's train of thought. "Oh, we're here. Please stand here while I notify the guests that you're here, practice your routine." The three stopped in front of two large doors, which appeared to be the doors to the backyard where the part was held. The maid opened the door just by a hair, and slipped through.
"A traveling orphan? Interesting." She nodded slightly before explaining her story, "Well I tried making a fantasy novel, I used a theory on mermaids and incorporated it in. Female sailors were thought of as bad luck, so their crewmates would tie the female sailors by the legs and dump them into the ocean, and the female sailors would slowly turn into mermaids because Poseidon would give them a second chance and let them get revenge. What do you think?" Delilah rested her chin on her hands and watched as Aiko ordered. "Do you have money?"

There was a small feeling of someone eavesdropping, but Delilah ignored it and resumed finishing her breakfast. "Anywho, I just don't have characters or a real plot..."
"Coffee can be bitter, I can add creamer in it for you next time." Next time? What was Delilah talking about? She placed a hand on her forehead and let out a small sigh. How could she let herself say that? "Ahem... So uh, you're like an orphan?" Delilah raised her head and picked up her bagel, taking a small bite out of it before she moved her papers away from Aiko, fearing that the girl may snatch one and take a peek. "Did you just move here?" As she sifted through papers, Delilah shot another glance at the girl.

Children weren't her favorite, most seemed to like her but she could never handle their energetic behavior. They resembled puppies in a way.
I will post tomorrow
She feel a light breath. Delilah stared up at the girl who hovered over her table, she stared down at her coffee, then back at the girl's face. "Ahem... Would you... Like a sip?" She grabbed a napkin and wiped off her lipstick stain that smudged the mug.
What an odd child, she appeared to be young and rather outgoing, a possible character for her novel?

Delilah held her cup out towards the girl, waiting for her to take it. "I'm Delilah."
It would be best to put on a friendly face, even if she wasn't good with children. "Where are your parents?" The halfling had a curious glint in her eyes.

The child reminded her of when she first came to this town, for a moment she appeared to be reminiscing about her past.
Ignorance was bliss, she ignored every scene that happened around her, she was too tired to care this morning.

Delilah pushed open the doors of the cafe, a small bell jingled as she made her way inside. The girl would always have her breakfasts here, another small part to her daily routine.
She was well rounded with most of the people that lived here since the town was so small, and she assumed that most knew her as well, her name at least.

The girl ordered her usual; a bagel with cream cheese and black coffee. As she waited, she pulled out her papers and scattered them over the table of the booth she chose to sit in. Thus began her slow descent into frustration. Since Delilah hadn't really worked on her new material, and because of this her deadline was at stake.

She placed her head in the table and let out a long sigh as her breakfast was served to her, the waiter appeared to be rather confused with Delilah's actions, but he didn't bother on asking, and left her to sulk in her defeat. Her fingers slipped through the mug's handle and pulled the coffee cup close as she sat up to take a sip.
The light of day began to seep through the windows of Delilah's apartment, this caused the Halfling to stir and cover her eyes. Another day...
Slowly, the girl sat up. Her hair stuck out in all directions and her eyes were distant, a forlorn expression was plastered on her face. It was hard to get Delilah going in the morning, but she knew she would have to get up eventually.

Delilah got out of bed and began her daily routine; Brush her hair, brush her teeth, change, fix the bed, then the rest of the morning would be hers. Before the girl would leave her small apartment, she would stare into the bathroom mirror. She was so used to being in her Glamour that sometimes Delilah would forget what she originally looked like, but this was a consequence of living in a human town.

She then left. Her purse was stuffed with papers for a book she was currently working on, usually she would right in the cafe, she would practically write anywhere when she had the time to.
As Delilah walked down the street to head to the cafe, her heels clicked on the ground in a slow methodic rhythm.
