Bleach: The Silent Legacy

Yeah I'm all for having Arrancar in there, I just dislike Vizard/Super humans etc and to some degree Quincy but they're growing on me considering the current arc. I wouldn't mind us figuring out a way to get some good Arrancar characters in the plot somewhere, Shinigami vs Hollow is always a classic and I think Reaper vs Reaper can get old.

Yeah no rush. I feel your plight too, I always dream up optimistic Zanpakutos with no hope of ever finding a picture to suit it properly and my drawing skills are lacking to say the least. Even if they were up to par I don't believe I actually have access to a scanner to get them on here o.O

Yeah no problem you bringing it up, but it seems pretty heavily poised to be a number-less system judging by the comments :P

My favorite part by far (As I'm sure it is everyones) is creating Zanpakuto Powers, so much fun. I have three already and waiting for this RP that I have to choose between D: If everyone would be in agreement to make a different plot in which we are the Gotei then I'll try to help out as much I can. When you have Bleach RPs with very difffernt spins to them I get the urge to just return to the good old mundane system of regular shinigami.

I'll probably come round to the idea if everyone wants it but I kinda fancy a good 'ol fashioned Bleach RP, meaning we would play the Gotei 13. They coudl all be new, I have no problems omitting cannon characters but, I don't know, I just kind of prefer the idea of being in the Gotei 13 as a Captain more than a rebel who will be on the opposite side. This is just me being picky though. Just to reiterate we do not have to in any way shape or form use my old plot, just throwing it in the idea pool.

EDIT: On account of the battle system I'm fair on having no actual system in place just count on the general common sense of the players. I feel it always gets a bit strained when you want to conform things like that and I for one hate having to use a number system to work out my combat moves, it's a lot smoother when you can just write out a cool fight scene with another willing person. Of course this is to the discretion of you Grimm as your GM and it depends what everyone else feels.

I think rather than aim for a system to regulate everyone we should instead aim for a sensible cast of players which would do the job for us.

Haha, yeah sorry about that. I'm on here more often than DA so for now I'll say the messages will come from here to make it easier for you. Also if you don't want to do it then no worries at all it's up to you. And say what you like but I still love my avatar and signature :P definitely better than any attempt I can muster up.

Edit: On another note I'm more than happy for you to suggest an idea of a theme you would be up for exploring, something you would enjoy working on and then I'll work around that for an idea for my set. Just an idea but I'm hoping that would make it a lot more enjoyable for you, less of a chore more of a experiment.

I'll read through all this tonight, don't have time just now but I'll quickly say you can butcher/mess with my plot all you like. And the Jakakumei is a band of guys who used to be squad members of Nobunaga, just one group of shinigami.

EDIT: Ok! I'm back and I've read through the stuff. So! first of all I'm gonna link my old RP so you can actually have a look since you seem happy to adopt a similar premise (Also you could probably get a few more players by contacting those who were in it)

Secondly we did have a plot twist that involved the Jakakumei breaking into central 46 and releasing Nobunaga from his prison (Much like Aizens prison) But I can't for the life of me remember the proper twist (It was something along the lines of Nobunaga wanted to be imprisoned hence why he went quietly) but either way we can put a new spin on it.

Plot

Gorou Nobunaga, the lost Shinigami

Almost a millennium ago Yamamoto Genryūsai Shigekuni was to be placed at the head of Squad one, to become the Captain Commander of the thirteen court guard squads. The appointment was to the surprise of no one and it was predicted by many that he would become one of the most powerful men to ever sit atop the Seireitei. Become. It was only said because he was not yet the most powerful, because there was another. Gorou Nobunaga. The man was infamous, his power had become legend as would the captain commanders. Nobunaga however powerful he might have been, was not approached for the position of Captain commander for he was deemed an 'unstable entity'. The members of central 46 did not trust him from the beginning but the reason they did not act was due to his volatile nature, and a man with that much power and such short a fuse would not take kindly to the sanctions central 46 would have placed upon him.
Their worries were about to be put to rest however. The ceremony was complete and the newly christened captain commander Yamamoto was to give his first edict as the head of the Gotei squads. To strip the rank and status of the Shinigami Gorou Nobunaga, to imprison him. Stares of surprise and concern were seen on almost every face in the crowd, but once face was still, calm. Nobunaga himself took his sword from his side, he stepped towards the Captain commander as the surrounding Captains prepared to draw in anticipation of the fight that would ensue Yamamoto's order. Nobunaga did not draw however, he fell to one knee and raised his sheathed sword to Yamamoto, "So be it" he said before he was escorted from Sokyoko hill.

The news spread in moments and whilst the majority were in favor of the mans imprisonment a particular minority was not. Nobunaga's squad. After fighting tooth and nail with the central 46 they were brought to their knees in reluctance, they could not do a thing, they could not save their beloved Captain. Soon after several members of Nobunaga's squad disappeared from the Seireitei, and after searches were unsuccessful it was clear they were not even in soul society.

Jakakumei (邪革命 – wordplay meaning ‘revolution of vengeful ghosts’) are a group of rogue Shinigami who are called “The Jacks” by locals. They are known for their stealthy demeanor and wearing masks. Although their members are not regulated strictly in regards to uniform, they are all required to wear a blue robe and carry a personal mask.

The Jakakumei were formed after the imprisonment of Gorou Nobunaga, a former captain of the Gotei 13, by captain Yamamoto himself. His squad put up resistance to the act, but eventually had to flee from Seireitei. These Shinigami and their descendants are the members of Jakakumei, and now call the Rukon-district their home.

Personlly I actually dislike the various races. I much prefer seeing a Shinigami fight a Arrancar than a Vizard against a Quincy, they were never meant to be a lot of them yet when RP's pop up you get 2 Soul Reapers and 7 Vizard. I would actually much prefer it if you could only be a Shinigami, the extent of their powers us up to the player to decide but if anyone can be anything it's going to be a bit complicated.

But obviously it's up to everyone.
