If people said something or utter a single word about demons, it would be a nasty, and scary things. About how wicked they are, or how horrible their appearance would be. But, in this planet, it's completely wrong. They demon they said would be creepy or horrifying, actually took shape of a normal human in teenage age. Probably with a weird colored hair and eyes, as their surroundings affected their appearance quite a lot.

Mizu, a water demon, sat quietly under the water with his eyes closed. He could hear everything in this planet he owns. Another demons fighting for food, a small creature trying to hide from its hunter, OR, the human that stepped inside his cave without his permission. How dare a mere mortal went in and peek around his house. He should probably scare him off for good. Because lately, they keep coming over and over, taking some stones or water from this planet for samples.

His pale colored fingers traced at the long, cut mark around his neck. Some guy tried to kill him by cutting off his neck, but no, he could grow even his head back and moving on. Though it would take a lot of time to heal, since it's his very, vital part. But aside for that, he need to shoo away this human, making sure they won't come back anymore.

So he surfaced from the water, and he saw a man's back from where he is. That man looks too focused to do his work that he was completely unaware about Mizu's appearance by the water. The blue haired demon slowly went to the ground, and with a swift movement, he wrapped his arms around the man's neck.
Yeah, I could do that. Lemme get my post up :D
"Dear, Lucid, have you done packing yet?" A middle-age woman with maid clothes waited patiently in front of an oak door. She held a cape she made with a smile on her face, waiting for the person to come out of the room.

In this castle, which stood on top of a small land, people lived peacefully under the King's protection. The maids could chat with each other freely, and there's no bad rumours about the King or the Queen, or anyone here. They lived here with no urge to go out anywhere else, as the world outside seemed dangerous and brutal.

Murders. Robbery. Rape.

No one needs to experience that in this small land. But, of course. A young man is always curious about the world he'd never saw before. He would took any risk to get at least half of the way before. But right now, he's dead set on his destination. Lucid Naite, a mage who lived in the castle for twenty-six years now, read about the Pixie's temple who have a very, mysterious treasure. No one could set a foot there, and thus, no one could describe what kind of treasure that is. Well, valuable or not, if Lucid could see it with his own eyes, that would be enough.

With his fingers, he easily tied up his hair into a loose ponytail, letting the fiery red strands fell onto his clothed back as he let go of his grasp. His deep green colored eyes stared at his reflection at the mirror, and he sighed. This bright hair color always gave him a difficulty to blend in with the crowds. His red hair, came from the herbs he regularly consumed since he was a child. The herbs helped him to be immune to any mind-breaking spell or any poison that could led him to an instant death. He couldn't say that he's completely immune to some poison, since he never know what's out there. Oh, well, he could always learn while he's on his way.

Fixing his clothes for a bit, he finally prepared to go out. He took his spell book and placed it inside the leather bag, and then he went out. "Yes, I'm done. Thank you for waiting, Lucy." He smiled at the woman who waited for him outside. Lucy gestured to the cape, and he bend his body down for a bit so the elder woman could reach his height, to wrap the cape around his body. She doesn't really need to do that but, she saw Lucid as her son, and she really wants to spoil him before he go for God knows how long.

"Be safe on your journey, son." She ruffled Lucid's bangs gently, and the mage replied with a smile. He, then, stood straight and walked to the gate by the fountain. This gate was a one way teleportation device. From a castle, to a city at the next land. It would take few days to reach it by foot, so Lucid doesn't really want to take that much time to start with.

Then, he took out a transparent gem from his pocket. It shone for a few seconds, and then vaporized along with his body.

This marked the very beginning of his journey, to an unknown world.

Bump. Still looking for another long term partner
"Probably. I will follow the river, hope we could find the village anywhere nearby. You, just try to get some sleep to get rid of your fever. At least rest it off. I will keep you save, I promise." Lu said with a bit of concern in his voice. Right now, he flew along with the tree shades to avoid anyone noticed them because he's a white, eye-catching dragon. It would give them a very hard time if they got involved in a combat with Verloren's condition right now. That could endanger the two of them, and he don't want to risk anyone losing their life. The sight won't be pretty and it would leave a bad taste in Lu's mouth.

While flying, Lu realized that he never once hurt a human. Not even kill anyone. When they practiced back there in the city, they always used a dummy, or another dragon as sparring partner. Humans are not allowed to train with other dragons except for their own, not as a partner, or an opponent. The elder said something about a human getting murdered after the training with another dragon, and apparently, dragons cannot control their lust for killing anything that get in their way. Lu doesn't want to be that kind if dragons. Well, his life is filled with fear and nothingness, except for Verloren, who was his everything.

Lu's red eyes glimmered as he saw a sight of houses just right a few miles infront of them. He lowered himself to the ground slowly, carefully so Ver won't fell off his back. And just as they're close enough to the village, he turned back to his human shape. He caught Verloren who was slipping off his small back, and helped him-more like carrying him-to the village gate.
"Probably it's a good idea to go and ask people about this. Might be valuable." He shrugged and after he watched Verloren who went to scratch his wound, again, he placed the necklace inside the bag. That might be a good idea to let Ver sit on his back while they fly closer to any nearest village. The wind could cool him down for a bit, they just need to make sure that they will stay in the shadow, or they cover might blow. He glanced at the river quite a while, and then he turned to look at the feverish rider.

"Do you think we could drink from the water? You haven't drank anything since yesterday, I'm surprised that you don't say anything about getting thirsty." The young dragon crouched to rummage at Verloren's bag, and he found an empty drinking bottle. He wondered why Ver didn't bring any water with him, or he probably forgot about that because he's too excited when they made the sudden plan. But, oh well, probably the river water won't be too poisonous even for human. The fishes could live there, and the water looks very clear too. That won't kill him, Lu was sure about that.

After he took a bottle full of water, and placed it back inside Verloren's bag, he quickly transformed into a dragon and lowered himself enough so his rider could get on without many difficulty. He could help Ver hoist himself up with his wings and tail.
"It's like it got stuck kinda deep." He muttered, still trying to tug the piece of chain from the ground with his strength. He hissed as the chain burned his palm because he pulled it with no gloves on, but he could careless. "Maybe we could sell it in the nearby village, in case someone threw it away. After he pulled, and pulled, finally he got the chain off the ground and he fell with a quite thud on his backside. Hands gripping tight to the object that he tried to pull off earlier.

It was a necklace, with a red, smooth gem on the center. A bit transparent, but not crystal clear. It does look like the gem have something like a thick, unmoving liquid like substances inside of it. Lu lifted his head to look at Verloren, as if asking what kind of thing that they've just found. "This is weird. Never saw this kind of thing back in the city." Then he stood to admire the small piece of jewelry in his palm. "Does it look like.. Um.. that red kinda stone? Ruby?"
Bump bump
"...please report any signs of infection to the guards nearby-"

Blood splattered all over the wall as a tall, black haired man cut off the poor tourist head off. He seathed back his one edged sword, and sfter that, he looted around the body, see if he could get some rations or ammo for his empty hunting rifle. This guy tried to rob him off his weapons, even tried to release his sexual frustration on the black haired man, which led him to his quick death.

"Hey, Tear. I cleared up the underground passage, I'm sure you want to give Gwen her deserved hell." Another man, with dark brown colored hair and a glasses appeared behind the door, jerking his thumb towards the hole inside the room, which led to a supply area for military. "Stop looting that corpse, he tried to rob you, so Im sure he got nothing-"

Tear, the black haired man, threw a small bag full of rations, and another bag full of shotgun ammo to the brunette with annoyed and almost disgusted look. "Nothing? This guy seems to rob a bunch of people on his way here. More like a thief than a tourist. Horny bastard." He kicked the body before moving inside the building as he slung his bag over his shoulder. "Oh, I will give Gwen a very, very torturing hell. No one gonna smuggle all my supplies to the Firefly. Ex-military or not, I'm gonna kill the bitch very slowly, Jun." He smirked as he muttered those malicious words to the brunette.

Jun shook his head. "Really? Thought you gonna cut her limbs and let her live with no arms and legs."

"Oh yeah, I will do that. But, I'm gonna make her bleed to death." Tear replied and he went inside the hole. He glanced at the other man and sighed. "Be safe out here. Too many bastards. Let me know if you found someone interesting." And with that, he went to the underground passage.
