The Demon Experiment [Megumi & Ez]

Mizu's ears rangs as the two humans yelled at each other inside the cave, and he winced visibly. Noisy creature. His body relaxed at the sound of people stepping away from the entrance, thus silence came back to him. He noticed the mask that Nathan held, and listened very, very well to what he said, about saving this planet from complete destruction.

Should he trust this man? More like, can he trust Nathan enough to let the human take him to somewhere that he never went? He lifted his head to look at the scientist with a bit mixed emotions, but he emitted an aure of sincere and Mizu, could tell that this man bring no harm. Not like the other. So, he nodded. "What should I do then? To become like your kind, I mean. The people outside might be very suspicious if you came out with..me." he asked, completely at lost about what he should do.

He saw some of the bottles that Nathan put on the ground and took them. "I want a very detail explanation after this." He said. Mizu's face turned serious all of sudden. Sure, he would love to save his planet, or something but, he just can't jump on things that he didn't know.

Dragon's Heart [Monochromatic & Ez]

"What are you talking about? Stop being pessimistic, it's just a fever, okay? The woman from before said she could help." Lu caught Ver's hand and prevent him from scratching his wound. He looked sweaty and the dragon will need some water and towel to wipe it off. He wants to be a bit of help. "Stay here. I'm going to ask if I could find something to wipe your body. Or better, getting you into a new, fresh clothes." He gave a soft pat on Verloren's uninjured cheek and then, the small dragon went out if the room.

He saw the woman from before and asked for a towel and basin. When Ver get better, he should probably go out and ask around about the gem they found earlier. Maybe the merchants know something about how much it could sell. He felt bad though, about selling something that wasn't his. What if its owner still looking for it?

The woman told him that there's a couple of towels at the back room, along with the basin and a well. Perfect. He should rush there and get back to Ver's side.

While Lu was away, a girl in her fifteen came into the room with a basket full of herbs in her hand. "Um, mr. Traveler, how are you feeling?" She asked. Her voice was soft and not trembling at all even though she's talking to a stranger. Her hands mixed few of the leaves and grind it in a mixing bowl. Greenish substance came out as the herbs were crushed.

Dragon's Heart [Monochromatic & Ez]

"But, you barely can walk." Lu replied as he took Ver's hand and try to help the taller boy to get up on his feet. "At least let me help you. Here, lean onto me." Lu carefully wrapped his left hand around Ver's waist, holding him still so the teen won't have to fall again. He also slung Ver's hand around his neck and let the boy leaned on him. They need to walk to the village, ask for help or..maybe a doctor.

If they're lucky. They village would accept travelers, as they have a lot of merchants inside. With a bit of difficulty, Lu managed to walk and approached the village's gate, where some elder woman looked at them in panic.

"Oh dear! You two looks horrible? Did you got attacked on your way here?" A woman in his forty ran to them and helped Verloren to walk. "He's a bit feverish, eh? We got a doctor in this village. And you can stay at my Inn until he recovered."

How nice of her. She didn't even ask for their name, or what kind of people are they. She just went to help them and even offer a place to stay. Maybe this village won't be so bad after all. "Um, I think, he got poisoned. I tried to treat the fever but..it came back even worse in the morning." Lu explained while they walked to the Inn, not far from the gate.

While they're getting inside, the woman led the boys into a vacant room with single bed. She helped to move Ver to lay on the bed, and then she went out. Lu heard her talking about medicinez and herbs, and he also could hear her argued with a man that doesn't agree with her decision to bring a complete strangers into the village. Well, that's true. They might be dangerous for anyone. But, in this condition, all Lu could worry about is Verloren.

Lu slowed down as a village came into his line of sight. It was a small village, but a bit crowded, and he could saw merchants here and there. As far as he noticed, it's a lively village, maybe they could find an inn, or some place they could stay until Verloren is fully recovered. He turned his head and saw his friend face contorted unpleasantly. And as he felt a sudden grip, he knew Ver is not having a pleasant dream.

When they're close enough to the village, Lu lowered himself down between the trees carefully. Making sure Ver won't fell off his back. Now, he just need to figure out how to transform back without waking this feverish rider. He fumbled a bit with his wings, trying to keep the teen still on his back. It might work. By the time he transformed back, Verloren would fall right on his small back, and he just need to balance himself as Ver was heavier than him.

He tried the method he's been thinking and of course, it worked as he planned but he miscalculated how heavy the human child is. He fell to the ground with Verloren on top of him. "Great. Now I really have the urge to do some weight-lifting." He huffed and pulled himself back to his feet.

Mizu saw how the doctor, who called himself Nathan sat down not too far from him. The excitement flowing out of his body and Mizu could sense it clearly. Human is such an open book. "Mizu. That's how everyone here called me." He replied when the man asked for his name, and he moved closer. "Can you tell your kind to stop destroying this place?" He asked, but more like, begged.

Half of this planet already empty and destroyed because some humans came here for they so called experiment. They just, took everything that they wants or need, and that means everything in this planet. Mizu eyes glanced over the bottles filled with some samples, that he believe was Nathan's. "Why are you collecting them too? I mean, what will that does for you?" Mizu opened his mouth to ask questions, but he quickly closed them again. He heard something coming.

"Sir Nathan! We are from rescue team that deployed by sir Jean's order! Are you inside?" A male shouted from the entrance of the cave, making Mizu covered his ears and moved a bit away.

Somehow, the tension lifted a little bit and Mizu don't know why he let his guard down. He got no idea about it. He sat down on the rocks, still staring at the man who introduced himself as 'A Doctor'. His blue eyes flickered in curiousity and he let the man finished his sentence.

"Wouldn't want to be your species." He replied with a bit raised brow. He thought that was completely visible that he's different from any of the human he found. At least, Mizu doesn't need to wear the funky head gear that looks terribly heavy. "Name. Did you humans have name?" He asked. That's what he learned a bit from some guy who came here earlier. They have a lot of funny names like, Phil, Wil, Jack. Or....something like that.
