I'll make Darwin put on a team Baelily shirt

Really? But the Mattilly color scheme would be so much brighter in color...I only say that because I keep associating Darwin with rainbows...and skittles xD Sorry:P

(Edit: Sorry about the IC essay...-.-')
Little Feather

Little Feather wandered down the halls; though she walked confidently she was feeling a little anxious without Lion by her side. She had been so set on returning the paper clutched in her hand to Kenshi, she hadn’t even thought to tell anyone where she was going. I should go back, it’s no use looking now I don’t know where he went She thought to herself, turning a corner she emerged into the garden seeing a large collection of people nearby, She felt a twang of excitement ignite in her. After the earlier success of introducing herself to Kathy and Eric, she felt confidence fill her to the brim. She all but skipped over to the small group sat on benches some eating happily others sitting around relaxing, once she was close enough and sure they could see her if they looked, she raised a hand in greeting. “Hey! I’m Little Feather, mind if I join you guys?” She asked, with a big smile. I did it! Without Lion or anyone...he’ll be proud of me She thought to herself, her chest puffing out a little in pride though it quickly deflated as she stood there, twirling the ring on her finger. She wasn’t so sure this was a good idea now, there was a scary looking guy sat on a bench next to the most uniquely dressed individual she had ever seen. Across from them was a small group with another scary looking guy whose eyes were shining as if he were mad. “Hey, are you ok?” She asked the guy with the special solar flare effect eyes.

Crash

Crash’s grin widened as Kathy laughed, he looked up at her as she removed the paper from his head. “Touché” He smirked at her returned jest. “This one was tame in comparison, I recall flying into a pond yesterday afternoon” He chuckled, lifting his hands he realized he’d thrown Romeo and Juliet over his head, scooting round so he was on his knees he looked over his shoulder with a bemused expression. He looked back at Kathy as she spoke, a smile forming on his lips though it faded pretty damn fast at Kiwi’s name. “Hell no comes to mind I do not wish to see Kiwi. You could probably drag me pretty far if you wanted to. You look pretty strong” He chuckled, winking at her before beginning to collect the scattered documents around him. He stacked the 2 large books he’d been given first, before placing a wad of paper still bound together on top of that. That’s 3, no more accidents today. Damn gods got it against me “Thanks” He murmured to Kathy as she knelt down and started collecting paper, he felt himself glancing at her every so often. Does she keep glancing at me? Probably keeping an eye in case I drop stuff again, or throw it in the air He turned scooping the last of the wayward paper together just as Kathy stood up, he looked up at her accepting the paper she handed him with a grateful smile. He carefully put them on top of the stack on the floor, getting to his feet. “My favourite type of activity...paperwork” He sighed looking at the mess of papers piled next to him.

He smiled and bent down to pick the pile up, scooping them up he looked around the floor trying to find the last book. He looked up at Kathy as she spoke, his eyes following her gaze and landing on the large white lion and girl with the wavy blonde hair. “Whoa...that’s something you don’t see everyday” He quoted, moving over to the table he put his books down on it. Watching as the lion opened an eye, flicking an ear forward as if he had understood what Kathy had said. Crash looked at the lion for a moment, lurching backwards as the lion sprung to its feet suddenly looking directly at him; he lifted his hands in surrender as the lion grumbled loudly. Death by lion...wasn’t expecting that The lion Jumped up on his hind legs looking at the table just behind Crash, before it turned its large head to focus on Kathy, dropping back to all fours. The lion rubbed his head on the blonde haired girls shoulder briefly before he bounced around her, his nose to the floor as he sniffed around Crash’s feet, head butting his way through Crash’s legs.

“Yikes!” Crash yelped going onto his tip toes to avoid injury as the Lion stood with his butt facing Kathy his head on the floor. Crash tip toed forward, his logical brain completely uncomfortable with a lion between his legs. “Friend of yours?” He asked Kathy with a raised eyebrow a smile on his face as he stepped forward. Just before Crash was clear of him the lion suddenly slammed into reverse scooting out from under the table at speed, shooting back through Crash’s legs he lifted his head up suddenly, butting Crash in the backside causing Crash to stumble forward into Kathy he glanced back at the lion making sure he’d stopped. “I’m s-“ Crash begun stopping as he turned back to Kathy, if she hadn’t jumped back in surprise he was now particularly close to her, he felt his cheeks flush. What are you doing? He couldn’t make himself move studying her face for a moment too long, noting how deep her- He jumped back suddenly rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly as he cleared his throat looking a little flustered. Damn it!” Why’d I do that...? “Sorry” He finished his previous apology.

Crash looked over at the lion again with a scowl on his face. The lion spun on the spot, his tongue lolling out of his mouth as he breathed his ears drooped as did his tail as if apologetically. By now the librarian looked about ready to tear her own hair out, there had been so much chaos since Crash had walked into the library! “Caleb! I can’t take anymore today please, for the love of this library get your books and go” The librarian pleaded, her voice was low but there was a sharp pitch to it as she spoke. “Erm, yeah I’m just going. Sorry” He apologized. “I’m being evicted; let me know when you’re done here I can help you look for your friends if you like?” He offered to Kathy, his face back to its normal color as he smiled at her. The lion grumbled and jumped up wagging its tail in delight, there was another whooshing noise and the previously stacked papers flew onto the floor. Crash glanced at the papers before he literally spun on the spot and sprinted for the door, he’d barely made it through the sliding doors before a book collided with his head. He exclaimed loudly, once he was clear of the door he sunk into a crouch pressing the bump on his head with both of his hands, peering at the book she’d launched at him. Romeo and Juliet...bloody Shakespeare The librarian gave the lion a withering look that made him retreat behind Kathy practically sticking to her heels.
I'd suggest making an excuse and moving them away then :S Seems a lot of people are heading towards the garden...Poor Ryuu xD
@Nero Tori looks interesting :D That's a lot of history @_@ Can see why it's taken you so long ^^' Awesome outcome though xD

Little Feather

Lion blinked at the girl as she moved in front of him, he tilted his head to the side as she did, raising the ridge above his left eye slightly. A strange human indeed He purred. “He’s not a student, he’s a spirit animal. My guardian” She answered Drow with a smile watching Lion lean into the ear scratching a deep rumbling purr taking residence in his chest. Regardless I like this human Little Feather smiled appreciatively to Kathy as she spoke. “That’s really kind of you, but I needn’t bore you with my history. I only know so much anyway...” Little Feather shrugged, looking at Lion as Kathy asked what he ate. “Erm...you know we hadn’t thought of that...there’s no hunting grounds around here” Little Feather frowned. What no food!? Lion grumbled looking at Little Feather hopelessly torn between enjoying his scratch and the dismay of going hungry. “I’m sure they’ll have something for you somewhere” Little Feather shrugged, looking round as she heard a commotion behind her.

She glanced at the red haired boy who was apparently the cause of the noise, though once he’d picked the books up she looked back down at her books. When Kathy released a deep sigh she looked up at her, she watched her pick up a book. Wow...must be really complicated She thought, frowning at Kathy’s sudden restlessness. She was quite bemused when Kathy closed her eyes and seemed to ready herself for something, she was about to ask what ailed her when she re-opened her eyes and stood up giving them a meek smile. She watched Kathy quizzically as she left the table and walked over to the red haired boy, her attention being dragged back to Kenshi as he spoke. “That must be useful, is it linked to your power?” She asked happily. When he pulled his hood lower on his face, she turned away from him thinking it best she let him work.

She hummed to herself softly as she continued to browse through the book. By then Kenshi had packed his things up and was writing something on a bit of paper. Lion’s eyes had slid closed by now he was purring rather loudly as the girl scratched his ears. Little Feather finished her book with a smile and closed it, feeling rather refreshed after seeing her ancestors among its pages, she jumped as a bit of paper rolled into her leg. She blinked at Kenshi in confusion as he got up hastily, stammering words at her before sprinting out of the library. Little Feather picked up the paper opening it up, her eyes traced the squiggles down the page she frowned deeply. Such...sorrow on this page! I can feel it...did he mean to leave this here? Although she couldn't make out what was on the page, she could feel the emotion Kenshi had left in the air, she felt an unfamiliar stirring in her, old instincts returning. Maybe’s he’s in trouble, in need of spiritual guidance? She looked thoughtful before she lightly got down from the table, moving over to the doors and slipping through them going in search of Kenshi. Lion didn’t even notice she had gone...

Crash

Crash stayed motionless for a moment, aware he was being watched right now but it was something he’d learnt to deal with a long time ago, he had far too many accidents to be bothered by staring. Or laughing, or ridicule...He twirled the book in his hand round awkwardly, now reading the back of it with interest, it was a worn copy of Romeo and Juliet. Well Theatre should be easy...I’m pretty sure I could quote this...what was Shakespeare on when he wrote this stuff? Crash’s expression was thoughtful as he studied the book. He took a step forward without consideration to his surroundings.

He’d already begun to take a step forward when a shadow fell on his book, he looked up almost instantly in surprise he released the books in his arms, the papers from one the binders flew all over the floor, with a whooshing noise. Crash’s face fell, as he lurched backwards trying to catch the paper, his feet sliding on one of the pages throwing his centre of balance completely out the window. Don’t fall, don’t fall, don’t fall! His foot jutted forward and he fell backwards clasping at the closest thing he could grasp which was most likely the book he already had in his hand he was confident Kathy’s ultra fast reflexes would save her from his flailing hands, nothing was going to stop him from his descent now his body weight was behind the fall. With a thud he fell back on his ass with papers whooshing back into the air, fluttering around him one sheet landed on his head covering half of his face and sticking to his hair. He heaved a sigh, before huffing the paper from his face looking at Kathy with a grin. “You have a habit of being right don’t you?” He chuckled at her, cringing as he heard the lady behind the desk whimper and press her forehead to the desk with a thunk. “Sorry...” He murmured, pulling a grimace and looking at the mess of paper around him.
@liferusher Lion doesn't speak as such, he makes funny lion noises and I thought I'd put a thought process behind it which is why Lion's speech is in italics ^^ Unless Drow can talk to animals or hear thoughts she probably wouldn't understand what he was saying :)
Little Feather

Little Feather retracted when Kenshi sat down, apparently she hadn’t even been listening to what he was saying. He continues to speak of fighting Lion grumbled, his ears flicking back as Kenshi told him to calm down. Tell him to bite me Lion growled low in his throat, sitting back down his tail flicking. Little Feather gave him a look and shook her head, putting a finger to her lips Lion looked away and grumbled. “He’s just being grumpy” Little Feather told Kenshi. “Really...everyone here is friendly. We didn’t think you were going to attack us, so you really don’t need to keep assuring us you won’t” Little Feather smiled before turning her attention back to Kathy. “Yes, I am. I’ve always liked this art, though I prefer to look at it in person. These pictures don’t do them justice” Little Feather answered enthusiastically.

“I can’t paint though...well I can do body painting but I shouldn't. I can do Quill work though...but not like this” Little Feather was on a role, she moved the book over to Kathy showing her a picture of a few Indian woman sat outside their tepees with fabric and quills in hand. “These woman would have been publicly honored. In the same way a successful warrior would have been. My mother was honored...” Little Feather ground to a halt, blinking suddenly. “I’m so sorry! I got carried away talking” Little Feather apologized.

This human is a strange one... Lion purred, he looked at the girl hugging him his ears flickering uncertainly as she stroked him. Though he didn't object to the attention, he returned his eyes to Kenshi there was no mistaking the animosity the big cat felt towards this stranger though he wasn't openly expressing aggression towards the young man. Little Feather looked at Kenshi with a frown when he asked for their names. Oh...he must of not heard me introduce everyone She brushed the thought aside however, smiling at Kenshi as Kathy introduced them all a second time. “That’s a nice looking staff...interesting symbols, what do they mean?” Little Feather inquired, watching Kenshi work on his carving.

Crash

Having come to the conclusion Crash was not going to make any new acquaintances today, he had resigned himself and hesitantly attended a lesson. Though he'd survived in Science for all of 25 minutes before he'd been carted out with a bill after touching a piece of equipment he was told not to! He was on his way to theater when he tapped his pockets down, inwardly groaning before sprinting in the opposite direction to the hall.

A messily written set of directions in hand and another 5 minutes of jogging along hallways meant Crash had arrived at the library doors. With complete tunnel vision he jogged towards the desk, with a sheepish grin. "No running in the library!" Was the response he got from the lady at the desk, Crash in his hurry slammed the breaks on rather quickly causing himself in true Crash fashion to trip over the flat floor, and clumsily collide with the desk, sending a small stack of books off of the edge of it and causing a torrent of thumps to echo around the library. The woman behind the desk pinched the bridge of her nose as Crash pulled himself upright, smiling apologetically he quickly gathered the books up in his arms depositing them on the desk. The librarian raised a hand to stop him as he tried to re-organize the books. "Please don't Mr Waterfront...I'll sort them in a second" She spoke softly to him regardless of the apparent irritation in her face. "Sorry about that..." Crash apologized rubbing the back of his neck. "I'm here for these books...I was told it would be OK to borrow them for a while" He murmured keeping his voice down and handing over a bit of paper to the librarian, who turned away from him to gather them.

It didn't take her long to turn back and deposit a small stack of books in front of Crash with a small smile before she went to rearranging the books he'd left messily on the side. Crash scooped the books up in his arms, leaning them back against his chest, at least they were all paperback there was also a few packets of paper sealed together by green binders...he wasn't to be trusted with hard covers, not with the frequency he threw things about, he spun on his heel busily reading the cover of a book he held out in his hand.
A lion being chased off a bus by bus riders wielding broomsticks? xD Yeah I laughed at that by the way :P Customers in the shop think I'm well and truly crackers! Thank you for such an awesome mental image xD

Kenshi Brett's post. >_> There seems to be a misunderstanding somewhere. And here I thought I was getting better with my wording choices. T_TEDIT: But you seemed to get what I meant, so thank you for that. ^^

Your wording is fine, easy to read and understand. I think Kenshi just over loooked it maybe? :S
