is Feisty Pants still with us? :O... just wondering ^_^

I am....just have been troublesome in terms of thinking of what to write.

Ugh. I think I have something, but I should be able to get to it tonight.

...And she vanished. Sho didn't even have the time to react as she kicked him in the back, breaking his balance and letting his momentum do the rest of the work. He shot forward, her kick just slightly changing his course, slamming with his back first on the building ahead, blasting through the wall and bringing down most of the front of the building. "Ouch" was the first thing that crossed his mind as he stayed at that position for a couple of seconds, thinking about what she had just done; Sho quickly pushed the rubble off him, stood up and looked at Minerva. He clenched his fist, that was his first defeat in two years be it a spar or not, and it meant he had ways to go before being the greatest martial artist in the world. He walked towards her, shaking the dust and rubble off himself. he said with a smile, making it seem like he hadn't just blasted through a stone wall.

Minerva Fairchild - The Lion's Fang

"Going head to head is a mistake, I suppose you will learn that in due time." She sharply responded first to his commentary about the joy of fighting head to head. Still leaving a slight frown upon her lips, the swordswoman flicked the edge of her blade just once before sheathing it back to where it belonged once again. "In an honorable conflict, it may be a route that you can take. However, if you stand among the fields of dead on the battlefield, feel free to ask how much honor means to them. Just because you fall upon some chivalrous notion does not mean your opponent will. I know this all too well."

Lightly shrugging such ominous sounding words off her shoulders, Minerva ears and eyes caught Riye approaching the two and she could not help the amused expression when she stated that she hoped that Minerva was not going to be kicking anyone too severely. Shaking her head removing her hands completely from within range of the swords upon her hips, the regal looking girl would respond in kind.

"I sure hope I won't be either, but I've a feeling that such hopes are in vain." She started with first, looking Riye dead in the eyes with her precise blue gaze while the crackling white faded away. "And I am a new recruit as well, not too impressive really, but if you'd like I could accompany you upon your newest venture. I've no need for the money, so feel free to keep my share."

Ok, go ahead.

I believe it is your turn, my friend. :D
Allrighty. XD
Amelia Hawkins - The Potions Professor

The moment Mark withdrew a small item from his pocket that had obvious muggle electrical outlets installed in it, her inquisitiveness got the best of her. Watching on as he then used the rennervate charm and the battery life jumped a handful of percentages, she first quipped a coy smile at the improvised ingeniousness that this product really was, and what it held the potential for.

"A marrying of both muggle technologies and magic," she began at first, her gaze meeting that of the charms professor once again with a bemused smile. "I thought I'd never see the day, we've tried to keep ourselves segregated and secretive all this time; it makes sense why so many are so hostile towards us. Perhaps however, this little device your friend invented just might be one of the stepping stones we need to find acceptance in such a community. Whether those of purer blood like it or not, we need the muggles....far more than they need us."

Changing tone, the conversation took upon itself a lighter weight than the relatively serious implications from before. Talking about the days from over a decade ago now, when she and Mark were likely at Hogwarts, and had never truly spoken at all, oddly enough. Mentioning the Library first, Amelia attempted to piece together the puzzle while she tapped her chin with a fingertip in thought.

"I think you're quite right," she began, digging into a robe pocket for a brief moment before extracting a pair of half-moon shaped glasses. "I spent more time in the Library at Hogwarts than I'd like to admit....I can recall waking up there in the morning quite a few times." Sliding the bridge of the glasses onto her nose then, her fingertips ran through the texture of her hair, making it slightly more haphazard than before; not quite as bad as it was when she was younger, but close enough to draw a better resemblance. "I was not told when I was little that I was a witch....so there was much catching up to do when I arrived at Hogwarts."

"Is this more familiar to you?" She would quip humorously as she appeared briefly to be her formerly younger, and far more exhausted self at first before finally resuming the more regal and precise posture she had before. By tapping her hair once with her wand to straighten it once again, but she left the glasses on to insure the precision of her vision. "I must say, I was a dreadfully awkward person then, I do apologize for not introducing myself back when I was a student. Perhaps....sometime during the year I could make up for it?"
Indeed.

Being old friends has its advantage.
Kotori Namashiya - The Songbird

Snaking smoothly across the rooftop and staying low to prevent herself from being seen, her eyes took in every detail of the events that were ongoing while Alaric and Tegan spoke in hushed tones with the elderly man. Movements were made by the Order with obviously murderous intention, and from behind her mask, her lips curled into a well-earned scowl of bitter disgust. Watching the villagers as occasional glances strayed from the gruesome entertainment of their heinous main event, she realized that it would be sooner than later that even the Rose, with all their ill-placed fervor, would notice the two who lingered below.

Through all the screams of rage and zealotry, she heard something in another direction and upon her slinking forward to observe it, her gaze caught another small crowd that was moving from door to door. With little more than needless persecution and violence on their minds, she could see that after two houses that they were obviously searching for someone or something. Judging by the pattern by which they moved however, no stone would go unturned until they found that which they sought.

Not only that, but they were soon headed for where Alaric and Tegan were speaking with the elder!

Needing to act quickly but subtly with due haste, she made the slightest of sounds. The whimsical sound of a song bird's tune, the delicate dance of musical notes that would be familiar to Alaric's ears alone. Such a noise could be easily dismissed as background noise by those who would hear it, but for her charge, it would be a grievous tune. Such a sound came from their childhood, when she was warning him of imminent danger in retaliation for whatever mischief they had brewed.

All the while, she continued to watch between both the group in the town center and those still kicking in doors. Silently, her short sword came unbound from its sheath, the black stained blade not reflecting sunlight in the least as she waited for his response, and with it, his command.

Her ambush was at the ready, and he would know such all too well.
XD

This is going to be good. ^_^

I wonder when the remaining professors might join us. Hmmm.....how to write this next post. I do feel bad for Gary/Vincent though....yet a strict professor is a good professor....As long as such strictness is fair.

Well, we're still hiding in plain sight for the time being. I have no intent on jeopardizing that.Keep some smoke bombs ready though. If we find the girl, we'll need some method to take the crowd out of the equation long enough to deal with the two roses kicking in doors.

Understood. Smoke and sword at the ready. I'll whip up a post of her warning about the two doorbusters soon enough.

Feisty, I didn't realize until after my post yesterday that my guy was just a year ahead of yours, and in the same house. He WAS a geek, though, so he won't really remember that.

I just noticed that too as I was reviewing your CS while I wrote my post. XD

And the same with her, she spent more time in the Library than her dormitory....probably even fell asleep there once or twice.
