Sacha's bow lowers slightly, "Your highness?" She questions, before raising the bow and aiming at the girl and letting the arrow fly. She then turns to follow where the girl's gaze had gone and groans slightly, seeing Fabine. "Seriously Fabine? You're going to cross the border to do what? Kill me?" She glances warily between Paisley and Fabine and Jayden, feeling very outnumbered. She curses inwardly, hoping Paisley intended to leave Fabine and Jayden to fight her alone, that would certainly make the fight less in their favor. Her shoulder aches, making it hard to keep her bow raised.

Dem sighs and begins wringing his shirt out. He could feel a sharp wind blowing through the trees, and had no intention of making himself colder than he was starting to feel. He groans, remembering the jacket in his backpack, which was now soaked as well. "Dammit you idiot!" He shouts loudly, shaking his head in frustration. He wish he would learn to think through things better. He huffs and decides he may as well just hang out and not begin heading back yet. He opens his pack and walks to the nearest tree, laying his jacket on the lowest branch. He knew it wouldn't get as dry as he'd like, but anything was better than dripping. He then decides to pull off his shirt he was wearing too, setting that up on the tree as well. He puts his hands on his hips and looks around the forest. He sighs and sits beneath the tree, closing his eyes to take a quick name while his jacket and shirt dried.
Dem looks around at the forest around him with a sad smile. "I can see why my brother would choose this of all places." He says to himself, shaking his hair out of his face. It had gotten longer after their parents died. He preferred it that way, made him feel older than he was. He soon reaches the river. Unscrewing the lid of his water bottle, he bends down to scoop up some water, but the bottle slips and falls into the river. "Shit!" He says loudly, before jumping into the river after it. He winces at the chilly water and reaches for the bottle, but his hand misses and the bottle floats downstream rapidly. "Great..." he groans, before wading to the Rabin side, which was closer, and pulling himself out of the river. He plops out, panting heavily, soaked.
Dem looks around at the people in the camp. He over hears snipits of conversation. He gasps quietly, hearing his brother's name mentioned by one of them. He gathers enough of conversations to figure out that his brother is the leader in this camp. His heart sinks, realizing his presence could jeopardize his brother's position...somehow. With a heavy heart, he sets the jerky by a tree, hoping his brother would find it by some miracle. If he didn't, oh well, Dem would never know. He crawls back out of the bush and looks around at the camp for a glimpse of his brother. Not seeing him, he turns and begins walking away. He hears the distant sounds of the river and decides to head there to refill his water bottles. Sticking his hands in his pockets, he walks that way, heading further away from the Brom camp, towards the unclaimed territory.

Dem sits at his home. After Fabine left, their parents had left their home to their second son. They died a few years back, and now the house was Dem's. He looks around the house and exhales softly, hating how big the house felt with no one else. He then gets to his feet and heads into the kitchen to get a snack. He runs his hand over the walls, wishing his parents had changed the wallpaper, the owl and tree design was such a horrible decision on their part, and he could never tell them why he wanted it to be changed back when they were alive. They died never knowing either son could shift.
Dem had found out a few weeks prior that he could shift, and that spurred his desire to seek out his brother. But lawyers and legal issues about his brother not being dead, therefore the house belonging to him had kept Dem at home. The house wasn't a mansion, but it was fairly large, and Dem's parents had left him a large sum of money, so he could afford a good lawyer. Finally, he had won the case and the house was his.
Now he could go search for his brother and not worry about the government taking his house from him.
He makes himself a few sandwiches and packs a few bottles of water into a small backpack. He then grabs one of his and Fabine's favorite snacks, dried salmon, from the cupboard. He'd been saving this and hoped it would help relate to his brother after all these years.
He looks around the small home before heading out the door, determined to find his missing brother. He locks the door behind him and sticks the key in his pocket before strolling down the street. He waves a greeting to his neighbors as he passes them, heading north, which was the direction he was pretty sure that Fabine had flown off that day he disappeared. But that was years ago...so Dem didn't hold much hope for actually finding his brother.
Several hours later, Dem reached the edge of his hometown. A large forest stood in front of him, stretching far into the distance. He exhales, glancing behind him before heading into the trees. He glances around as he walks. The forest was secluded enough, it made sense that might be where his brother would end up. It also smelled nice too. Some sort of flowers were scattered here and there. Dem didn't know plants. But he did recognize some oak trees, so that was...something, right?
He shakes his head, deciding to stop worrying about stupid trees and continue looking for his brother.
Several more hours passed and Dem was getting tired. Tired of walking, tired of looking for someone who obviously didn't want to be found.
He slows his pace and put his head in his hands. "Oh Dem, you foolish child!" He growls to himself, hitting his palm against his forehead in frustration. "You're never going to find him at this pace." He then kicks a rock in anger and irritation. Who was he to think he could actually find his brother after all these years??
He groans as pain shoots up his foot. He grumbles and glares at the rock, before shaking his head and continuing to walk. He'd gotten this far and wasn't going to give up no matter how hopeless it all seemed.
Eventually, he reaches a dense part of the forest, where the trees grew closer together. He stopped and took a swig of water, surveying the area around him. It didn't look different from the previous part of the forest...but it felt different. It felt....tenser.
Shaking his head, Dem returned the water bottle to his backpack and continued walking.
Through the trees Dem could see smoke rising from the trees far ahead. Which was weird. Only a few spots had the smoke, so it couldn't be a forest fire. Maybe people? People could mean Fabine!
Dem grins and quickens his pace to a brisk jog, deciding this wasn't a waste after all.
More hours passed and Dem could see the source of the fire up ahead. It looked like a camp, with three or so fires in the center. He was about 100 yards away, and could make out a circle of...tents? Dem creeps forward, keeping to the shadows. He could hear voices, and make out the sound of people moving around inside the camp. He frowns and reaches the edge. He glances around before lowering himself to his stomach and crawling forward through one of the bushes surrounding the camp.
Fabine smirks a bit and looks around once more before heading in a straight line towards Sacha. "You ready Jayden?" He asks in a low voice, clenching his dagger in his hand. He wasn't going to let anyone BUT him kill the Rabin leader. She had disrespected him too often. Even made his own members doubt his abilities. Hell, she'd even beaten him in a fight in front of Evelyn! No...he wouldn't stand for anything else from her. Death, and only death was what she deserved. And if anyone tried to stop him, or help her, well then they too would suffer by his hand.
Fabine reaches the river's edge and looks down at the swirling water. He glances at Sacha and Paisley locked in their fight, before jumping across the river. He smirks and heads in a large U shape to stay out of sight, but close enough to see the pair. He looks behind and around him on occasion to make sure Jayden was still following, and that no Rabins were trying to cut them off.
Fabine stretches a bit. "Yep, that would be a fellow Brom Jayden!! Ooooo can you smell it yet? The blood?" He inhales. "I can. She will die today. And it will make this so much more fun being three on one! We have a much better chance of wiping her off the face of this earth!" He laughs wickedly and picks up the pace. "We'll circle around, keep her from retreating back to her camp." He nods, mostly talking to himself. "With the Rabins losing their precious leader, they will fall. AND I WILL RULE THIS PLACE!"
Fabine reaches the river and smirks, spotting the Rabin leader and Paisley locked in a fight. He rubs his hands together with a sneer. "Do you see Jayden? Our target dead ahead! Sacha. Rabin leader." He pops his knuckles and pulls out his dagger. "This night, her head will roll."
Fabine scans the Rabin side of the river for any sign of life and smirks, hearing a distant fight. "Perfect!" He glances around for Jayden. Content that he was close enough, Fabine begins running full out towards the fighting sounds, eager to kill a Rabin if one was partaking in said fight.

Sacha tries to dodge that one, but it clips her shoulder. She gasps as her arm burns with hot pain. The dagger falls from her hand as she uses it to cover the wound, trying to limit blood loss. She glares at Paisley, now angry. "Ohhhh you'll pay for that one!" She snarls and pulls out an arrow, notching it in her bow.
