The Two Sides

@Fionraella Mishes lunges forward and struggles to grip the jacket where it's beginning to tear. She grits her teeth with concentration. "I'm not going to let you drown! Come on!" I'll jump in and throw you if it comes down to it, she thought with a pang of horror as she steeled herself against the opposing forces.

Destin whimpers and keeps kicking, growing tired. "Get a stick?!" He suggests, still too far away to pull himself out of the muck. He could feel his legs growing weaker. If he let go, he would surely drift away. And probably drown. Which would be really bad. His heart raced, skipping a beat at the thought of his own demise.

@Fionraella Misha summoned all the strength she could muster, praying she would be able to help the poor, innocent kitty baby trapped in the mud. She bent her knees. "Get ready, Destin!" she shouted as wrapped the jacket's arm around her wrist. She squared herself into the mud and yanked the jacket towards her.

Destin almost. *ALMOST* lets go of the sleeve at the sudden yank. he manages to hold on, but hears a small ripping sound near the shoulder of the jacket. "Careful!" He says around the fabric in his mouth. He wondered if she had a plan B if this didn't work... He could feel himself moving slightly, but not enough to actually be out of danger.

@Fionraella Misha cursed under her breath - but not loud enough for Destin's tiny baby ears to hear. She drew a breath in and glanced around at her surroundings briefly, taking in any features that could serve to help her. The tree she had clung to earlier was just out of reach. With a quick look in Destin's direction, she frowned. "I'm going to grab that. Just -- wait a second!" She turned around, the mud gulping at her feet as she struggled to unhook herself from the sinking grip. She managed to pull one leg through, then pull herself forward enough to grip the branch. With one hand on the branch, she slid her jacket off her slender frame and tossed the other end towards Destin with a firm grip of her own on one sleeve.

Destin blinks as she pulls off her jacket. "You're a genius!" He grasps at the arm of the jacket with his teeth, missing it by a couple inches. He growls and kicks his legs, trying to get closer. He manages to just grasps the arm in his teeth. He whimpers a bit, worried it wasn't going to be enough. "Got it!" He says, muffled due to the sleeve in his mouth. He adjusts his grip so he doesn't tear the fabric, waiting for her to begin pulling.

Destin winces as she grabs his paw and he nods, knowing if he didn't, she would dislocate that arm. And that would suck. "Okay, ready!" He struggles to move, kicking with his hind legs as hard as he can. He feels the mud move slightly, but not enough to propel him forward much. He kicks again, trying to twist a bit, but to no avail. "It's not working!"

I think what I need to do is make a chart of timezones so everyone can be smart about when they come online, hoping to roleplay with a certain person. Have it color coded and everything XD

Sorry! Back.
How do you feel about roleplaying early in the morning, say around 9 am your time?

I dont think roleplaying tomorrow will work, just because Tev has work on Sunday.

Here's how I'm working out the timezones:
I started with you Mosseh, giving you a reasonable time range to be awake: 9 am- midnight
Which makes that same time for me 2 pm-5 am
you: 1 pm-4 am
Demi: 4 pm-7am
Tev: 10 pm-1pm

So the way I see it, the most reasonable Roleplay time would be:
9-1pm your time,
which is 10-2am Tev's time.
The rest of us fall in that middle area so im not worried about us US'ers.

If I messed up on my timezones or if those times wont work for someone, let me know.
