Hey Jay!!! :D

Destin yawns, stretching as he sits up on Aya's cot. His side ached, but not as bad as it did the day before. He looks around her tent with a contented sigh. It's so perfect in here... He thinks, before jumping off the cot. He looks around before shifting and running a hand through his hair. He looks down at his side and grimaces, seeing the bruises from hitting the rock. It didn't look too serious, but still looked ugly.
He walks back towards the herb and medicine stores to peek at what all she had collected. He smiles a bit at her organization as he searches for some ginseng and lavender. Smiling as he finds it, he pulls out a few leaves before chewing them. He ignores the bitterness as he walks around her tent, taking in her various personal items laying around. He kept his hands behind his back, trying to avoid any temptaiton to touch her things.
@Fionraella Misha nodded. "I get that. Sometimes it feels all holier-than-thou like they think they're better than us for... I don't know." She shrugged. "I'm glad you came over. We'd be in pieces without you, obviously!" We already are, she thought. Nonetheless, she missed her own makeshift bed and the cocky stubbornness of their leader.. and the constant state of disaster. It was familiar.

Destin looks around the Rabin camp sadly. "I still can't help but miss this place though." He looks around the camp sadly before yawning. "We should get some rest. I don't know what Sacha has planned for us. But it shouldn't too bad right? She's a good, and fair leader."

Misha shrugged. "Don't think so. I don't know. I mostly just hung out with Kianna, so I wasn't paying much attention." She glanced around, taking in the shapes of the camp, then drew her gaze back to Destin. "I just didn't feel like I belonged here. Everyone here is so..." She lowered her voice. "They want to get along. And I can't."

Destin nods. "I understand. I just...everyone in the Rabins never understood why I hated this war. It's similar in the Broms, but they mostly leave you alone. Here it was like....they defended it. Trying to make up stupid reasons for the fighting. Making themselves the more superior group when in reality neither are...so I left. And then the Broms needed a healer so I couldn't leave..."
@Fionraella Misha laughed with a hint of bitterness. She glanced around the camp... The foliage was much the same as their own camp, but somehow lighter. They looked a bit less like they were about to freeze to death. "I used to be a Rabin, too, you know." She looked into Destin's precious baby eyes. "Can you imagine that?"

Destin's baby eyes widen. "No way! when?? Sacha never mentioned that you were a Rabin." He grins. "Whoa...that's super cool. Think we were members at the same time? That would be so weird!" He stretches out, just longer than her lap fully stretched out. "Man. I missed this camp. It's a bit bigger and I like the shape and layout better. What about you?"

Leo jumped back and hissed loudly at Xavier, snarling loudly, teeth barred. He narrowed his eyes at him and hissed slightly, before beginning to follow him. He glared angrily at Xavier's back. "Can't bite what you no touch..." He growled under his breath. He loomed around as they walked. "Where going?"

Xavier laughs at the hiss. "I'm a crocodile. Trust me kid." He then begins whistling, ignoring Leo's question. The kid was being a bit annoying. Xavier didn't care too much. Broms themselves were worse than this. And the Rabins. whoo-hoo. They were the worst of the worst. I was actually quite nice to just walk in some random direction with no real purpose. Well, except to avoid losing his hand to this kid.
@Fionraella "I'm bad at this. I just want to be mean and cold and beat people up." She scratched his head. "But you're so damn cute and endearing! It's throwing me for a loop." She gestured to Brick. "He just kicked my ass but instead of rotting in a pit like prisoners over on our side, we're... being treated almost like people. They even have fires!"

Destin bats at her nose. "I'm adorable and small and fluffy. And you know you love me." He snuggles against her arm and licks it cutely. He gives her his big ocelot eye look. "The Rabins aren't all bad...you know I used to be a half-Rabin for awhile right? Before..." He shakes his head. "I joined the Broms two years ago. So that's where I am now. Sacha's a good friend and would never treat me, or any of my friends badly!"
@Fionraella Misha shrugged. "I don't know. I mean, you're cute and fluffy and part of the family, apparently, but I'm still a prisoner of war." She sighed. The bruise on her thigh ached, reminding her of yet another injury expressly as a result of her rash lack of thinking and another one-sided battle with someone who could throw her - human or animal - across the river without lifting a finger.

"War." Destin scoffs. "We're children fighting each other because..what? Fabine's cape is blue and Sacha's is red??" He laughs, shaking his head at the stupid metaphor. "Look. You're fine here. Sacha and Aya...and maybe that big guy, they're friends!" He snuggles up to her. "Please stop being so pessimistic. IT's never going to get you anywhere in life. And especially not tonight. It's cold out here, even with a fire. You should try to be cute. Aya loves cute things."

Leo narrowed his eyes at the larger boy and snorted. "Fine..." He took his hand and shook it firmly. "I Leo. I no eat hand if take me where food is." He smirked a bit, barring his teeth in warning.

Xavier smiles slightly at the boy. "Deal. But know if you do try to bite me.." He shifts and opens his jaws wide, before closing them and shifting back. "I bet my bite is bigger than yours." He winks and keeps walking, hands in his pockets. One hand on a throwing knife, in case Leo tried anything. He didn't think the boy would, but he seemed unpredictable enough, and Xavier really did not feel like losing a hand. Not today and not to a boy younger than him. Now if a Rabin cut off his hand, well, he might have less of an issue with that.

Leo narrowed his eyes at Xavier and growled low. He snorted and sniffed at him unsurely. He grumbled and sighed heavily. "Fine... I guess... I jus want food, thought people have food, but noooo..."

Xavier chuckles. "You're cute kid. What's your name?" He asks, before holding a hand out warily. "I'm Xavier, please don't chew my hand off. I know you're hungry. We'll get you food." He wonders where the best place to get food would be. Kid looked like he had eaten in awhile, and Xavier really didn't feel right sending the boy off without anything to eat.
