Here is my sample post:
The Fondaria Dropped out of hyperspace on the edge of the Coruscant system, near the orbit of Ulabos. There was almost no traffic this far from the New Republic capital making it the perfect place to meet a client who did not wish to be observed during negotiations. It would not be long until Gaele's mysterious customer arrived and she could finally learn the reason for all this secrecy. It worried her slightly that she had no met the customer and if they turned out to be hostile towards her there would be no ships nearby to come to her aid, but it was a risk she was willing to take. The message she had received, to arrange this clandestine meeting, had said that the client needed combat ready ships that amounted to a small fleet. It was not a deal she could turn down.
Her father would not approve of such dealings with mysterious, unknown clients. He would say, "they are up to no good..." and "If we get caught..." but this could put her father's company up there with the biggest shipwrights in the galaxy and bring in many large legitimate contracts. Yes, she had to go ahead with it. It was for the good of the company.
"Fondaria, come in, this is the Aivan."
"Aivan i hear you, what is your location?"
"We are on the surface of the Ice world, we are sending you the coordinates now."
Her nav console chimed as it received the new information, and she set a landing course.
"recieved, Fontaria out."
An hour later the Fondaria had navigated the ice bands orbiting the planet and made its way to the surface. Gaele opened the hatch and lowered the loading ramp. her environmental suit should have kept out the harsh cold of the icy planet but she still felt a shiver run down her back, maybe it was in anticipation of the strange meeting she thought. There were two of them, both men, standing nearby between the two ships, both wore face masks but neither had an environment suit, only thick clothing to protect them from the harsh conditions. She wondered how they could withstand the cold, but there were many Ice worlds they could be used to living on. The both looked human, but that wasn't always a good indicator of race, even some Fondorian men looked human.
The watched her approach without saying a word. When she was within a few meters of them she spoke.
"Hello, I am Gaele Tylin of TLY. May I ask who i am doing buisness with, your message was very vague."
She had received the message a week ago while conducting business on Kaut. she had been intrigued by the strange nature of the message but she resisted the urge to leave immediately, and finished of her negotiations for new ship building facilities closer to the core. Expanding the business was more important that adventures to the capital system to meet dubious potential clients with a flare for the dramatic.
The men glanced at each other briefly and the taller of the two spoke, his voice distorted by the breathing apparatus.
"Hello Miss Tylin, we only represent a client who wishes to do business with you. Our employer requests that he be allowed to remain anonymous, but you may call me Jisak."
"And I am Hurlim" the other said, his voice softer and quieter than the first man, but distorted in the same way.
I hope this is enough for a sample, and that it meets your required standard. If it is ok, can i use it as the start of my first post IC?

Faction: Heir to the Family star-yacht Business (Tylin Lux Yachts), which itself is a member of the Fondor Guild of Starshipwrights (Ruling body on Fondor and part of the New Republic). Loyal to her father over anyone else. Trained as a luxury ship designer, now working as sales representative,
Background: Ship building was all she ever knew. She grew up as a ship builder’s daughter and learned the trade from her father. Soon discovering that she had more of a knack for designing, he sent her off to school to learn the basics in writing and numbers. This late start to her education isolated her from her class mates who where all several years younger than her, and she struggled to make any friends. Once she finished her time of learning she returned to her father to work for him designing luxury yachts for the super rich. She had never left Fondor, she had never had a reason to, until now.
The war had hurt the luxury business and most companies had moving to the building of warships. Her father didn’t like this and continued to feed the shrinking market. She began designing ships that could defend themselves while still being comfortable and stylish, her father accepted the designs reluctantly and it was not long until she had him talked into building ships for the New Republic forces. They specialised in small ships for patrols and scouting, so they didn’t have much to do to upgrade their factories for the new ship designs.
With this new line of combat ready ships she was required more and more to leave the comforts of her home world to get sales and to find new customers.
Character Class: Business Woman & Sales Rep (not sure how that fits into the selection you gave :P)
Items: A small personal blaster, a data pad with communication software and company database. She also has her personal star-yacht, a one of a kind, personally designed by her for herself. (See pic below)
Character Personality: Gaele is a professional, business always comes first. It is the most important thing in her life after family and has caused her to take on an antisocial demeanour. Her inability to make friends in school extended into her adult life and she tended to keep herself to herself and focus on her work. When interacting with others she never let her emotions get the better of her but when alone all the bottled up emotions often emerged. She was not disliked by others, but neither did people like her in such a way that they would want to socialise or be friends. Men found her attractive but she pushed them away with her cold personality.
Appearance: The baldness of her race caused other human and near human raced to find them unattractive, meaning that almost all Fondorians married another Fondorian. This was not the case for Gaele. She was beautiful, the humans and other off worlders were always seeking to spend time with her and her father took advantage of this to increase his business.
She was average in height and of slim build. She had several tattoos on her body, most of which she covered all the time but a few were visible. One on the back of her right hand of an ancient wild cat which used to roam her planet before the industrial age began eons ago. The other was a tribal vine pattern which ran from her lower back, up her neck, behind her right ear, and stopped in the middle of her forehead. All her tattoos were done in the same shade of purple as her blood which made some of the vines look like blood vessels.
Her blue eyes where what most men noticed though, drawn to them by the tattoo most men would stare at her for some time before realising where they were. They were blue, “as blue as the glow of a hyperdrive engine vent” her father always said. (no pics available)

I own a copy of the Star Wars Atlas, it has detailed charts for most regions and is more detailed than your map. Is it ok if I use it for reference rather than your map? As far as i can see everything is in the same place but mine is more detailed. I can post HQ photos of the maps as if i reference them in a post just so people can see where i'm talking about. or if anyone wants details of a specific region they can ask me and i'll post it for them if i can.

Hey guys, I used to RP a lot, and now I'm looking to get back into it. I hear this is the place to do so.
