Bleach: A New Dawn

Today was a grand day for Shusuke, he had graduated from the academy with great marks and wanted to celebrate. "Sake sounds great." he thought, making his way casually towards the market in hopes of procuring a bottle. He passed by a number of other recent graduates, they exchanged head nod's, "hey how ya doin's" and so forth. While he walked, he thought over which squad he would try out for. All his class mates had theirs on the tip of their tongue but Shusuke was still thinking his over. "It is a huge commitment, one I can't make unless I am fully prepared." he said aloud to no one in particular. He ran his fingers through his hair to keep it pushed back, now approaching a vendor selling bottles of varying sizes. "I'll take one please." Shusuke said while pointing at the medium sized bottle. He figured that would be enough for him and his parents to celebrate with.

kind of thing, I'm not asking you to write my first post for me, but give me a few highlights on what to do so I can get a feel for this place. Didn't you also say you had someone in the market?

Well I don't know, like I said, I don't know what my first post should be because I haven't actually read when a new character comes in to get an idea for how to do mine.

I was in my house, that was a couple days before we deployed. 1SG can't tell me what to do there lol.

I'm going to be honest and tell you your uniform is mildly awful. Take better fucking care of it. It's not hard...

If you're referring to my uniform, watch your mouth. That uniform has seen months of time in the desert on my first deployment.

So I was given the go ahead to post, just no combat until they do one last review of my skills, so hopefully later, I'll have one in. On that note, any suggestions are where to start out or whatever, I'm under the impression that we graduated the academy and are now in the process of seeking a squad. With that being said, does anyone have a character near where mine might start out so that I'm not talking to a tree stump.

the only people I know with those uniforms have been deployed.

That's because they are the deployment uniform and I'm wearing them because I am deployed, for the second time to Afghanistan.
