Think I'd like to join up with this myself, should have something put together soon.
I'd say it would be noticeable with the energy and pressure build up while the power is being focused, probably would end up feeling like a gas bubble expanding or something of the sort.
Name- Johnny Carver.
Age- 25.
Gender- Male.

Appearance-

Personality- To be revealed.

Tier- 1.

Power/Magic- Explosion Inducement- Johnny can, with concentration, cause an explosion in a targeted area of varying size, type, and destructive force after a few seconds upon release of the blast. It can be centered in and around objects to provide shrapnel and debris to the concussive force caused by said explosion, centering in living beings is another matter entirely but it can be done given time for something as precise. All things considered Johnny's power is not subtle in most of its applications and he is not entirely immune to the effects, shrapnel and debris will kill him like everyone else and the force of the explosion can still kill/injure him depending on proximity. If his concentration is broken before releasing the blast it could end up either being like a cherry bomb or something much, much bigger though it would take quite a bit to cause the issue to occur.

Bio- Johnny has moved around a bit so far in his life only just recently setting up shop in Naveria within the past couple months. He lived in a military family which had him in constant transition between homes however he coped well enough with it always wondering where he would end up next thinking ahead rather than in the past. Though his family was military he knew there was no place for him in any sort of fighting, never being the aggressive type needed for such conflict, however weaponry did interest him and it was what got him a job his parents could get behind. He started learning about and making guns with time helping to supply those who went out to fight where he couldn't but eventually went out on his own after hitting 18. Johnny found it hard to stay in one place for too long and by the time he got to Naveria he ended up setting up his own gun shop with a fellow gun nut in the city. So far he has enjoyed his stay in the city and has not plans to move as of yet with his business doing better than he expected what with his expertise and his partner's advertising.

Personal- His Colt .38 Saturday Night Special which was a gift from his father.
:D
I personally think the pace is fine for the early stage here. Everyone gets plenty of time to sort themselves out and still post when they can.

Especially for that pesky testing.
Donovan listened in turn to Paris about the clubs he joined and he found his retort about the basketball story rather amusing, understandable but still amusing. He had a feeling he would end up meeting his roommate and Lucius at some point during his stay whether it was sooner or later had yet to be seen although the prospect of running around was something he would have to think about. Then his interests being brought up made him pause for thought because it wasn't something that had occurred to him, but he did have one other possibility,

"The Outdoors club is kinda appealing now that I think about it, but beyond that not much else I guess. Man I'm boring!" Donovan said with a realization that made him chuckle considering his own simple interests. He had to admit it was a bit pathetic at his lack of creativity in that respect, though it was the opposite while using his powers where ideas came left and right. "As for the running, I might just have to think on it a bit. Takes a bit for me to get up in the morning so I'll see what I can do." He said with his smile having grown slightly at the idea.

Donovan decided he would probably just throw a signature at the Outdoors club before he left the gym but he was more than willing to wait for Paris to be ready for it. "Not a bad start on meeting people I have to say." He thought feeling better about being in the academy the longer he was here and it was just the first day. "Gardening and Art huh? Sounds like a good combo, though I probably have no idea at least as far as the gardening goes. Not much for me to talk about there but if you want me to tag along for a bit maybe I'll get to meet your buds in person or something else entirely if it happens." He said giving an honest opinion on the two clubs and keeping a good conversation going felt like a decent idea.
Morrison had woken up rather early as usual making sure to get his morning coffee before sitting down to a quiet house. He knew Audrey would probably wake up later, it was a day off, and there was no need to rush the girl on such a day. Though he would most likely make breakfast soon enough and he would make sure to keep some warm for when his daughter got up. Until then however, he would enjoy the solitude of the early morning watching outside as the town lit up with the other residents waking up to the sunlight filtering over the horizon.

After awhile the older man heard a commotion coming from his daughter's room, he figured the poor girl forgot about the day off and was attempting to get up in a rush, and soon after it went quiet again which signaled a small grin from Morrison. He got up to get himself another cup of his black coffee which he drank mostly for enjoyment than anything not needing the caffeine to wake up. He looked around the kitchen after a bit noticing there was a few things he would need to pick up later at the store once the afternoon hit, the owner tended to leave beforehand occasionally which had frustrated him the first couple times, but he was forgiving enough to let it go.

Morrison waited an hour, not feeling hungry earlier, then the house would likely be filled up with the smell of his cooking which was good enough in his opinion and a damn sight better than some of the other residents could manage from what he could tell. The stove was busy with eggs and sausage with a stack of pancakes being created that made the older man's stomach growl while he prepared them. He made more than enough for himself and Audrey, as is his way to save leftovers for later, keeping some warming on the stove while he tore into his own plate. There was little left in the wake of the appetite of a hardworking man which usually resulted in him inhaling the food with the satisfaction of quelling the beast that is his stomach.

Morrison took a walk around the property taking in the sea air for awhile and keeping clear of the town for as long as time would allow him. There was little about the town he thought about besides the tragedies that he linked it to which explained his solitary attitude towards most of the town, sure he needed to go there occasionally but he didn't have to like a second of it. He did however love the area around the town and even the old asylum which he kept going because they provided him meaning and largely an escape from the negativity the town itself had on his mind. It was almost immediately that he stopped thinking about it before heading back to his home to see if his daughter was up yet and if not he figured mentioning food would get her up, never did take much more to get his daughter up which reminded him that his sister would likely be coming over at one point or another.
I apologize for my absence I've been job hunting for this past week and wasn't able to get on for more than a little bit at a time. Not sure if I should post or not so I'll wait for say so on the matter.
