One of the more practical reasons.
Or get thrown into a building if he pisses Psy off again.
I agree with this system entirely, had a good laugh off some of the examples as well. This has also given me narrative ideas for later when larger enemies start appearing and there are buildings around because Psy is going to have to make a judgment call then or god help the surroundings if she gets pissed later.
At least the mistakes here are easy enough to fix.

Violet wasn't as interested in the goings on below the roof on the street because to her it didn't register as strange, one of many things in her mind. It certainly wasn't as interesting a choice when there were far more eye-catching sights to be had though she it did eventually occur to her that it might upset someone that she hadn't chosen to help restrain Thrash and instead staring at her lackeys. She looked over the edge of the hole see her and Void's work in trapping the drummer while the others got around to capturing the lunatic. The telekinetic was overall happy with how the confrontation went and gave Void a literal pat on the back having enjoyed a chance to let loose for even just a bit.

Violet got a message on an old pager that she was given if contact was necessary on the field, she had a feeling no one trusted her enough to give her anything more. The message gave her the go-ahead to actually use some of her power beyond just her barriers which excited her because she was quite bored with holding back for the sake of testing her field performance. It was something that frustrated her to no end even if she understood the reasons but it could be worse and she knew it first hand.

"Vaerin! I actually get to do things now out here!" Violet said obviously quite pleased with herself already relaxing the restraint on her mind so she could using more power sooner rather than later.

+1 Energy

Psy-Warp is currently Inspired! +1 Attack and +3 Defense

Level Up!
Psy-Warp has gained the following-

  • Telekinetic platform
  • Telekinetic throw
  • Telekinetic blast
  • Recall
  • Strong Mind Stronger Temper
  • Psionic Intervention

Action: Recuperate and enjoy some freedom.
Always the wording that seems to be the issue, was thinking about the health percentage but forgot to add it. Much better now though and it fits pretty well.
Got my little trait now as well.

Psionic Intervention-
Psy-Warp doesn't like seeing her friend Void hurt badly triggering her to attack and repel if an enemy does significant damage to him.
I figured the blast would be an AoE though that might warrant an 8 cost, either way it works. As for the throw, it was my excuse to get a bit more kick out of throwing shit with some extra damage on top of it. That rage is gonna make for a hilarious time when an enemy thinks it was a good idea come to find out shes about to be their worst nightmare.
Abilities-

Telekinetic Blast- Energy cost 6
Psy-Warp fires an orb of TK energy which detonates causing a Staggered! effect on stronger enemies or throwing weaker enemies causing them to begin Speeding! into the nearest surface if applicable.

Telekinetic Throw- Energy cost 4-8
Psy-Warp grabs an object or person and launches or slams it against a surface or in a chosen direction adding her own Attack to the impact with increasing cost depending on the weight and size of said projectile.

Traits-

Strong Mind Stronger Temper
Psy-Warp doesn't take kindly to anyone trying to mess with her mind reducing mind control duration by 25% afterwards gaining Psionic Anger! which switches her Attack and Defense causing her to focus her rage against the offender until they are KO'd.

Couple more ideas.
[*]Recall- Energy Cost 0
Psy-Warp removes telekinetic constructs from the area(barriers, platforms, Etc.) while regaining 1/2 the Energy she spent making it.

[*]Telekinetic platform- Energy cost 3
Psy-Warp forms a solid but small platform of TK energy which can be lifted off the ground granting the Levitating! effect providing 1/3 of her Defense in addition to the bonus from Levitating! because of movement to anyone on top of them. These are also moveable by Psy-Warp providing a means of quick travel via air but disappear if she gets KO'd.

Hows this looking so far?
