Having a bit of writer's block at the moment. Attempting to work through it.
Been there many times. Though its usually me with too much time on my hands.
I've been lurking about the guild while waiting. Not in a big hurry as far as posting.
I'll see what I can do about a character for this. Surprised at how few takers there are compared to the old days.
Depending on the mix of people this could be hilariously awesome. Throwing my hat in this one.
Donovan was glad to see an attempt at pushing through whatever mixture of things kept the girl from joining, it was kind of what he had been hoping for. He watched from where he was before there was any decision to move up to the desk himself for the moment. If anything he felt good about his helping someone who looked like they needed it and maybe he wasn't the best person for it but he would do what he knew was right. Unfortunately he noticed the freeze up at the desk which concerned him a bit but no need to get discouraged by it everyone has faults himself included. When the girl did make her way back over and asked for his help there was no other choice in the matter for him because he intended to finish what he started.

"No problem." Donovan said keeping his tone friendly as ever walking up to the desk alongside the girl this time.

"Hey man, we'd both like to sign up." Donovan said taking the receptionist's attention upon himself for the moment.

"Sure the list is right here," The man said handing the sheet to Donovan who signed quickly handing it to his companion, "So you two twins or something?" The receptionist giving a bit of a chuckle because both of the students looked similar.

"Only in clothing my friend." Donovan replied keeping a half-hearted tone as he said it not entirely finding the joke amusing but rolling with the jab.

Once the girl was done signing he would leave the stand with her but until then he kept the man behind the desk talking, there were many bad jokes thrown because of it.
Welcome to the rp Merc.
Interested, looking forward to the story.
Donovan waited for a reply not feeling in any rush while he moved his gaze away to the booth once again wondering how to make it less of a task signing up for the club. He did however listen once the girl spoke up which gave him an idea as to what he could do to help if anything and it would be a painless for either of them. In the middle of the thought he realized how long he hadn't said anything, probably longer than the gap before it, so he decided to try his luck with the plan. He also thought joining himself couldn't hurt if he got to do something mostly new to him.

"If you want I could keep the desk person's attention and you could sign up without having to deal with them if you want," Donovan said more or less knowing it could get annoying talking to the person when you weren't feeling up to it, "Might join to if anything just to keep them busy."

"Your choice really, I don't mind either way." He continued after a moment trying to take as much pressure off her as possible.
I found it pretty funny.
