I find rps about, for example,\a family of sea turtles/, that live in dah sea and whatnot, normal average whatever, they don't speak English and communicate through ... Clicks? Turtles was a bad example. Anywho, they go about their daily lives then BOOM ADD SUPERPOWERS, THE TURTLES ARE NOW TECHNO DUBSTEP WARRIORS FROM THE DEPTHS OF XEFRUN. I am using turtles as an example, as I've stated. This honestly goes for most animals. Some form of setting

We begin with Earth. A planet, with some of the smartest beings in the universe. Some would say otherwise, of course, but their was no mistaking the human's great will for knowledge. Thousands of years with their strive for knowledge, and wanting to reach the stars above, soon brought them to the speed of light. Expeditions, that ultimately took up years, despite their newfound speed, were met with very little. HOWEVER, they continued their travels, year after year, before finally stumbling across what was truly the beginning of their journey. A foreign ship. This ship carried lifeforms none had seen before. Were they hallucinations from the workers who had spent so long watching a void? Not at all!(because that'd be boring) They were alien creatures! With a mind far more developed than the humans, despite humans being extremely developed. Slimey creatures, resembling that of slugs or snails on Earth, who had developed speeds faster then the speed of light, and were spreading this knowledge across the universe! 5000 years later, races of many form have sprung up with heavy exploration. The story before told, is a tale taught by every race, changing to make a specific race seem to be some of the first to travel space, the great snail like being, changed with every person who tells the tale. By now it's a large blur, nobody knows who created Faster Then Light Travel, and it's simply not cared about by anyone except scribes who wish to learn the secrets of life. The universe is today, filled with all sorts of people, shapes, sizes, and colors.even with the development of weaponry, that could easily defeat pirates or fight wars, these things seem to still happen! Though only few organizations can fully have a grasp over, even small parts of small galaxies. This is the tale, not of a great organization, who ruled large sections of galaxies far and wide, no, but instead, the crew of a small, possibly 6 crew ship, and their adventures across the universe, fighting against the law, growing ever richer, and making a name for themselves, before the day that they would inevitably be caught, and killed.

Space Pirate Introduction:
You are aboard the LWSS (Light Weight SpaceShip) Eternity! This cruiser, is equipped with a small dormitory area. (2 person to room, 3 rooms.) A somewhat medium sized lounge room, equipped with food supplies and a microwave, and two seperate tables. The by far, largest room on the ship, is the engine room, two generators, a large panel, covered in different colored buttons and labeled lights, hooked up to a gigantic box, that flickers and sparks, shooting energy back and forth to power the engines, alongside this, are two very, large oxygen tanks, that cover an entire wall of the ship, and have enough oxygen to keep the ship pressurized and oxygenated for 2 months, without a refill. The next, and considerably smaller then the engine room, is the bridge. The bridge is equipped with a single piloting computer, that wraps almost fully around the user, switches and holgraphics across the screen. In the middle of it, facing outward towards the rest of the bridge, is a glass window, that lights up with a holographic map of the nearby area on the top, and on the bottom, a map of the star system they are currently in. Further in front of the bridge, is an area for a person to aim and fire two rapid fire laserweapons, and a single missile, to lock onto a target. A large window covers the front of the ship. Over to the side is a box, with piping shooting into its sides, and an airlock at the front of it. When opening the airlock, you step inside, are depressurized, and the door leading to space/a docking bay opens. Just on the outside of the depressurization chamber, are two space suits. Lastly, the smallest area of the ship, is a medical bay, it is equipped with two first aid kits, a single sleeper pod, and a single Advanced Emergency kit.

Character Design Introduction:
As this is space, the likely amount of races, is near infinite, you can look, however you please /sort of, just be somewhat realistic, k?/

Now a large part of your character, is that, with each race, comes specific things, that race has from birth. Think the ability to regenerate at a faster speed than other races, and have a larger survival chance when being stabbed then then the base human race.
For every good perk, you must have a bad perk, of equal magnitude, as to prevent God modding.
