Wulp... this bunny thinks that the Lycans and Vamps would call it a "Deviant." But the wolves themselves would call themselves: 'Les Ames Soeurs.' Pronounced Lays Uhm-eh SOOR. "Kindred Spirits/Soulmates." Or just Ame (Uhm-eh) for short. Means: "Soul." Supposed to just be Uhm but Uhm-eh sounds nicer :]

"Listen to me, little cubs and listen well, mes louveteaux...

The babies, human children that stray into the French countryside, those that wander off into the expanse of forbidden places in the woods... those poor, unfortunate souls... they are lost forever. Sealed is their fate. Once lost, they are eaten by the foul spirit; Le Loup Garou. Yes. A werewolf. A Lycan. Even worse are the ones that do escape but have ingested the blood of Le Loup Garou. For they will become one for one-hundred and one days. But legend has it that after 101 days have passed, their minds will have gone too far. They will remain crazed. Trapped in the mind of a lunatic; one who believes that they are slaves to the moon.

But legend also has it that there is another kind of wolf. A mother, a leader that would take in a lost babe and raise it as her own. These babies, former human children become feral and run with the wolf, living out their lives without human contact ever again. And then there are those wolves who have grown up with that human child... what of them...?

Well... you see... Some wolves cannot help but have their spirits bound to that human child. And even others cannot help but have their spirits altered forever.

Just like how a human would become infected in mind, body and spirit with the Loup Garou (loo gah-roo), these few wolves would have their spirits infected mind, body and soul with the La Soeur du Loup (la soor due loo): the Sister Wolf. The feral human child. Those ghostly white faces that the French see during the full moon are not the spirits of the dead, but the fresh faces of lost and timid children that once were made of fur and fang. They are lost children drawn to the human world but confused, perhaps never brave enough to venture into their townships.

But the ones that do, those Ames Soeurs that do venture into the world of humans, they would have to learn to live like a human and harbour their dark secrets and carnivorous desires. Yet even as they become more and more human, they cannot help but have better senses, reflexes, instincts, agility and strength than their human counterparts. But being Les Ames Soeurs, Kindred Spirits, they will try to bond with another human; link with them so they know they are okay. In dreams, L'Ame Soeur watches over their bonded human. And when the moon is full may they finally return back to their original state. If only to protect their bonded human from Les Loups Garous, the werewolves. The Ame Soeur is invincible to the always fatal bite of a Lycan, you see.

But it is a terrible fate to battle Les Loups Garous. The Ame may not be as physically superior like Lycans, in human or monstrous form, but they do have one advantage: Ames are not deathly allergic to silver.

And that is why Kindred Spirits,you are prized game to the Lycans. Not to be killed, but to be studied. It is the Vampires that want you dead. They cannot have the Lycan science learn your secrets and have your blood mixed with Lycans. For their species to remain superior to the foolish wolves, that must never happen.

Now then... stay hidden, stay alive and fight till the death for the two souls you were sworn to protect; yours and theirs. 'Proteger Les Ames!' mes louveteaux! 'Protect The Souls!'"

And urmaferkingerd! This bunny is a unicorn!!!!! Yay! -dies-
