If he didn't use the same poison then it wouldn't be the same antidote either.

I'm going to assume you meant to say "Due to my metabolism".Now, the poison used by James is a substance known as Halon, in a capsule, which is ingested orally. Halon is a gas which bonds with oxygen atoms, and pulls them into itself incredibly well. Once the capsule opens, it will effectively suck all oxygen out of your bloodstream, removing your ability to absorb oxygen. It is rather like carbon-monoxide poisoning, except far more effective. Unless your metabolism allows you to survive without the need for oxygen, Halon will most definitely kill you.At first, you will feel drowsy. It will not feel like suffocation, because you are still breathing in air. However, after around 3 minutes the brain will shut down, knocking you out. After this has occurred, it will be about 2-3 more minutes before complete brain death. However, 1 minute will be sufficient time for serious and permanent brain damage to occur, which can result in personality change, memory loss, blindness, deafness, loss of speech, loss of bowel control, paralyss in it's many forms, the loss of the ability to make new memories, dementia, and going into a coma. All in all, it is a relatively slow-working orally ingested poison, which kills through removal of oxygen from the bloodstream.

Capsule. My point as been made.

Anywhore? That's an..... odd..... choise of words for someone who's supposedly going to school......

I'm not allowed to have a sense of humour? Please :P After some thought I think the weakness of that poison may have been discovered. Unless someone has some extremely toxic stomach acid.

Update here: I added his thoughts into the post on how he came to the conclusion it was a gas capsule so there wasn't another war about OOC knowledge. He used an inference based on the words of James that he deemed accurate enough to use as a defensive notion.
The Ridician blinked suddently, twisting away from the class and resting his hand on the hilt of his blade. He was on a cool down still he didn't have time to enter again quite yet nore did he expect he'd be given time for the ritual so that he could drink it. One survivor for a class, no, he had more some where. No one would attend a class who could only have one succeed. Survival, and resistance. He needed time, so he moved back into a corner, and his eyes flashed silver for a split second giving him some time off thought.

He brought up metabolism, which means it needs time to digest, probably a capsule. Powder? No, that could be mixed into the concoction, if we need time to digest it, there must be a gas capsule in it. small, yes, extremely so but it must be there. I'll take my chances in saying so. Then again, as such, any poison that is taken by drinking could be removed if they took a simple action, it could get it all out, or at least lower the levels enough so there isn't enough in it to overpower their immune system...

He'd waste nothing though. His arm went up and then swung back, elbow crashing into the window. "Why is it that we fret? The poison he's spoken of is a gas and we took a liquid." He explains to them. "Meaning there must be something inside of us to release gas. Throw up, just expel whatever it is." He explains, but taking no chances, he lifted the antidote to his lips and drank it anyway. "Just hope that it hasn't yet kicked in. The longer you wait the greater the chance that it gets you. He brought up basic human metabolism and we just took it less than five minutes ago, it shouldn't have broken yet so get it all out. Lose you're lunch or your lives. You're choice."
I've seen many, anywhore I'm off to school, will do a few posts from there now and then assuming we carry on. Luck to all of you.
The undead do not rot, or require oil baths as they're magically alive not by a virus. As a fully aware creature he isn't infected and most likely the reason he doesn't rot is because when he eats people instead of shitting and such (Cause he has no organs) He uses their tissue to keep his own healthy. Solved. Let us carry on.
Hey, hey, you know, we could always go back to the IC. This is moving a bit slow :P
Hmm perhaps if anyone IC bothers to try and find out more, or if anyones curious they could PM me. I might write something up on Word and keep it on hand later.
Ridician's are a very defensive people, hence the giant walls mentioned before. Phading or as commoners had called it "Shadow stepping" (Which offended the Ridicians because it's filled with silver light) it's usually only used to block a hit that would normally be fatal or dodge something.
To clarify a little on how the Phade works, for at a maximum of ten seconds (If he preforms the ritual) he moves to a new time frame as the level of the phade he is in is random. The ritual requires him to hold still and give up blood while asking for the gift. He can see into the Phade without much penalty on energy and no blood cost which could give him days of thinking in the matter of minutes but his body can't go with him in those cases. In his current situation he has ten seconds to get to the vial, cure himself and try to get it back. :3 Never will I let him use the ritual before fighting with another person, so he'll max out at about 2 seconds in combat and he needs time between uses.
