Personality: Normally, West is a quiet kid, the sort who tries his hardest to keep to himself. For as long as he can remember, people haven't really made sense to him. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't pick up on the patterns of every day society, he finds it chaotic and confusing. He prefers the online world, one where your status is dictated by what you do. He plays all manner of games, and nearly always wins. He has a mind for strategy, able to fit the pieces together in the game better than most and he loves it that way. He still keeps to himself, but the name Lutwin is known throughout many gaming communities.
Bio: West has never really fit in anywhere, but had the fortune of coming from a wealthy enough family that it didn't really matter. At a young age, West was bullied for being strange. Never participating in group activities, he would stand on the edge of groups observing, studying them in order to decipher the 'correct' way to behave in each individual circumstance. It didn't take long for his parents to take him away from public schools and to hire him a set of private tutors.
Removed from the rest of society, West created his own society within the games he played. It started off on forum sites, discussing strategies for single player games where his ability to crunch numbers and look at things strategically made him in the center of attention. It didn't take long for him to progress, becoming infamous as the first person to clear one of the hardest bosses in an MMO he played solo, all under the name Lutwin. A lot of people consider Lutwin to be an urban legend of sorts, a hacker or simply a made up name. He became a story, but West never cared about how other people viewed Lutwin. It was all about what he could do, not how other people viewed him.

Hey guys! So I'm Gooblefly, also known as Luke, and I'm looking for some of you lovely folks to RP with! Recently the Rp I kinda devoted my time to went on hiatus so I'm back on the prowl for some fresh RP partners so I'm making one of these here request threads. Uh, I guess I'll start with a bit about me and my Rping habits.
- So, first of all, I am a guy and therefore my male characters are often better. That being said, I do want to practice female characters, so when it comes to the gender of my characters, ultimately I don't really mind which!
- I'm 21, so mature content is okay with me. By that, I mean that I'm okay not fading to black, but when it comes to darker tones like abuse and the like, I'd really rather now. Of course, I'm also totally okay fading to black if that's what you prefer, don't feel like just 'cause I said that I'm automatically wanting to delve into the raunchier stuff. However, I do prefer to Rp with people close to my own age, regardless of content.
- I'm Scottish, so UK time zones. Ultimately this means I usually only manage one post a day with people from different time zones, but depending on where you are, I check the site multiple times a day and if I see that it's my turn to reply, I will usually start writing stuff there and then.
- I write at a low-mid casual standard, pretty good punctuation and spelling (although I tend to write when I'm quite sleepy so I am prone to making mistakes) and would like a similar standard from any partner. Usually I'll write at least a paragraph, but I have to be pretty stuck to not write more than that. I more often than not try to match the amount my partner writes.
- I like my 1x1s to involve some degree of romance, but not so much that it devours the plot. Having a couple helps add to the writing, but that is by no means the entirety of the story. Ultimately, I'd like some romance aspect to any story, but I don't want it to entirely focus on it, I just like it being there. I personally am bisexual, so I'm okay with MxM/FxF and anywhere in between.
- Lastly, I only play original characters. I know some people enjoy playing canonical characters, but that stuff just doesn't interest me in the slightest.
If you have any questions about any of this stuff, please feel free to ask! I'm happy to answer anything you wish to know about me or my RP habits. I've always considered RPing more fun if you know the other person to some degree, so go ahead and ask!
Anyway, I don't have many plots worked out in my head right now. I have a couple and a bunch of fandoms/generic plotlines that I'd like to Roleplay, but if you have a plot that you've been sitting on and like to Rp, feel free to suggest it to me. I'm not guaranteeing that I'll do it, but I certainly will read anything you have to say and consider it. You don't know if you're going to enjoy something unless you try it!
My 'plots'
Generic, post apocalypse stuff. (Back with equally unoriginal plots!)
The world is starting to burn out. The earth is becoming dry and desolate, clean water and food are hard to come by and cities are hollow husks of what they once were. Everyone knew that eventually it would happen, that the planet couldn't sustain life forever, but no-one expected they would see the end in their time. Supplies are scarce and valuable. If you don't have them, you're in trouble, if you have them you're in trouble. There is no winning. The worst part about everything is that other people can't be trusted any more. What little remains of the population wishes to outlive the rest, usually by any means necessary.
So, this is a 'end of the world' Rp that I want to focus more on the bleakness and the real dull, monotony of the end of the life. I want it to be about surviving rather than going out and looking for trouble. I don't have much more than that, but hey, that's what the partner is for.
All the World is a Stage
Two kidnapped youths wake up to find themselves on the stage in an abandoned theater. There is no way out that they can see and they have but one instruction: Every week, they must put on a play using costumes and props given to them at the beginning of the week. If they fail to do so, they will be killed and two more will take their place. Biding their time until they can get out, they have to go along with this, putting on shows, all the while looking for any means of getting out.
Honestly, I have no idea how this will work, it's just something that's been milling around in my head... I dunno, if you'd like to work on this with me then that'd be great! However, this one will take some work given I have no bloomin' clue how to actually do it!
So, that's it in terms of plots... I said I didn't have many! But, of course there are other things I'm willing to Rp, just without any sort of plot outline... Anyway, here's a list of stuff that I'm interested in and would be willing to RP,
- Anything 'Slice of life-y' (Take your average teenage fiction plot + RP it = profit)
- Kingdom Hearts (These are always a little risque imo, but I'm always willing to try.)
- True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys (This literally just crossed my mind, but an RP based of those comics could be super fun!)
- Hunger Games-esque stuff
- Fairy Tale/ Real Life crossover stuff.
- Anything Musical (So band RPs, that sorta thing)
- Mutant asylum (Your typical 'we're not normal so they lock us up' affair.)
- Anything High school/University (So, roommate pairings, nerd X popular kid all that cheesy, good crap.)
That's all I can think about, list may be susceptible to change if I think of anything! Again, if you don't see something you're craving on this list, feel free to approach me and ask about it! I'm always up for new things! Lastly, I'm more likely to notice a request if you PM me, but I will check this thread regularly to see if anyone is interested.

Hey, so sorry about the wait. My Grandad has been pretty ill and I've been needing to run back and forth between my place and theirs to look after my Nan, but as of Sunday I'll be back home for what I believe is good and if you still want to continue I'd be really happy to do so! I thought it was only fair I explained what was going on as I've been pretty erratic with my posting.
Well, I definately have an Internet connection so I am good to continue, but I'll be writing on my iPad. I can still manage decent length posts on this, but they are harder to proof before I post which just means there are more little errors and stuff... Anyway, I have Internet so I can continue, no need for the two week break!
Matthews watched eagerly from the side of the arena, still blushing slightly from Rose's surprise hug. The way she and her Pokemon battled was truly amazing, they were perfectly in sync with strong attacks to boot. Matthew found himself watching her more than he watched the battle, absorbing every detail he could. There was something electrical in the air from the way she battled, something so amazing he he couldn't quite put it into words. All he knew was that he desperately wanted to see more of it.
The match didn't take long, Roselia's type advantage over Brock's pokemon meant the battle was over shortly after it had begun and soon Mstthew found it was his turn to dash over and hug Rose.
"you guys were amazing!" He beamed, speaking in equal parts to Rose and Roselia "I mean, wow!" He probably would have gushed about the battle and how easy Rose made it look but Brock cut him off, suggesting that the two of them should travel together.
Instantly, Matthew was excited about the idea. In all of the stories he had read, trainers travelled in groups and he was eager to match that experience, but being a teenager, he didn't want to seem too eager.
"I uh, I mean, yeah. I'm going to Cerulean next, if you're heading that way... I mean, uh, I'd be okay with it." Matthew mumbled, blushing a little and looking at his shoes, as to hide the excitement glowing in his eyes. Hope elbowed him in the shins, making him yelp and look up "I mean, I would like that... And Hope would too"
So much of him still being in Kanto was thanks to Rose, she had ininvertedly saved Hope which in turn meant Matthew met Whirlygig, and since then she had been a decent person to have around. She always seemed to see good in darkness and it was infectious. But, of course, Matthew was more interested in her skill I'm battle. Matthew still had a lot to learn, and Rose seemed to be brimming with raw talent. If Matthew wanted to become champion someday, he would need to learn and he couldn't think of anyone better to learn from.

Hey, I hate to do this but I may not be able to post for a couple of weeks, family emergency has taken me from my computer again. I can write a couple of paragraphs on my iPad, but may not have Internet connection. I'm going to write a shorter post just now, and if I get internet I can continue to write some stuff, but I can't be certain if I'll be able to access the Internet for a couple of weeks, sorry.
Well, the two haven't actually discussed travelling together yet, so there's a conversation to be had before we start the awkward trek to Mt. Moon, but after the gym battle we should make a move that way. I was thinking we should probably call an end to the first day of RP when we hit the Pokemon center outside the cave as well?
