Tired and breathing heavily, Patchouli reached the village as well. Her asthma was slowing her down, since she wasn't used to make exercises. "Huff... Huff... after... a long walk... I did it...", she said. However, she wasn't that far by the village. It's just that a single exercise would be able to slow her down a lot.

Heavy breaths brought a sleeping doctor from his dreams. The small creature stood up from the tree he was sitting against, stretched for a moment, and observed his surroundings. The sudden change in scenery, which would have normally startled him, had it's attention muffled under the sounds of the woman nearby. She seemed rather... out of shape, which sparked a sense of worry in Card. He inferred that she was going to die from the girl's wheezing. Being the occupation he was, Card wasn't ready to let that happen. He approached Patchouli, lightly tugged on her dress and informed her status in a polite, formal manner:

"You are dying," Card spoke.

Personality:
Quiet, blunt and straight to the point; he rarely shows emotion in the way he talks or acts. Card takes his work seriously, yet with a sense of care. With a glow of welcoming companionship and generosity, it is against his nature to hate his enemies. The combination of a silent doctor and a honorable one makes him unpredictable in situations.

History:

Card is of a magicless species, and as such he despises the idea of using such presence in his work. Years of quiet days at his shop allowed him time to play with his feathers, and as such he learned to use them as weapons.

"You shall," pause as he raises a hand to his beard-jaw. "Find the rift inside... for me, as well as find me... a potato so I may make..." The mii looked out at nothing as he pondered. "...salad..."

Yes, everyone is accepted. I'm going to close submissions cause I think the roster is getting rather fat and sassy.

I do request however, that some of the new people going into Golden Heart change to some other clans; we need to even out the teams.

a letter pinned on the manager's door,

"My hopes of reinventing this business have once again diminished. Frankly I have no idea how to continue forward in these darker times. No one comes around these parts anymore, could it be my fault? I can only feel that I have been abandoned by those whom I used to call friends. The adventures, the strange worlds, the interesting people I have met; where they had seemed so important to me, through their eyes they seem like nothing. Maybe it is, and maybe I need to follow in their footsteps. I guess I found some sort of solace coming back to my roots.

and of this rift; it's only a memory of my failures. The "Golden Rift"? It sounds just like another pointless quest. More over, it's going to attract that very attention to these ruins. I won't let them desolate these grounds any further. I'll lock up my office; it'll be hidden away from the public eye, as will this needless 'treasure'. Hopefully I can finally move on after this... maybe then I can find my true calling,

Lying in the drained pool sat a small suited figure. He had arrived before the rest of his team, and by that account the Charmers were the first ones there. However he spent this chance to get ahead by simply lazing around. He didn't want his team to miss out on anything. "We need potato salad," Chomp said in a monotone, digitized voice as he tapped his foot up in the air.

(Just start it out with everyone getting to the hotel; I suggest that people wait for their Captains to get there first, but you can do whatevah. Sorry for the wait. >.>)
