That is one hell of a good question Vordak. I have no clue. I would think that the attacks would add up to the equivalent of a prep when added together, or something. At least in the minigun scenario. But that's just shooting in the dark.

While I fully agree that the technique is completely ridiculous, I have no issues with you using it in this context. I'm a huge fan of "From hell's heart I stab at thee" moments, so feel free to make it such. Since I am unable to make any dice rolls to avoid losing dots I don't have, I'm going to go ahead and assume it's not going to kill or comatose Edmund. Severely wound in a permanent manner? Oh yes. The only reason you think it´s metagaming is because you felt the need to state the details of your upcoming attack. I would have done the exact same thing in that kind of situation regardless of Ysolda channeling or not. I quickly discovered how the giant mecha sucks ass against smaller, faster opponents when Erde came over, and I´m still counting myself lucky that he started off in a position that put him in an airborne disadvantage (because of the tail) - If Erde was on the ground, he would have fucked my shit up and LeeRoy knows it. The mecha has a pretty poor design in terms of high-tier ombat prowess, to be honest.

So when Ysolda reached the mecha, my options really only came down to one. Bail the mecha and blow it, continuing the fight with the jet if I had to (removing the speed disadvantage), because there is no way the mecha can harm Ysolda in it´s current position unless it blows up. I made a call. Now, if Beta hadn´t gone out of his way to describe his attack ahead of time, I wouldn´t be having that problem. Was it metagaming? Hell no. I don´t do that.

@Green - I've got several characters running around in my head that would fit the bill, though they'd have to be fleshed out on paper and adapted for use in the multiverse. Low-tiers aren't usually my preference though. I'm too fond of the twists and quirks you can give a character with powers (like Arty's lack of normal emotions). It's a little harder to find those quirks within the restraints of a low-tier setting, especially when I've been in a high-tier mindset all weekend working on this techie character.Did you have any particular scenarios in mind? Something to potentially spark my creativity and get me back in a low-tier mindset?

Eh. I was in the mood for a simple low-tiered non-lethal sparring match. Wipe some rust out of my basic close combat narrative, if you will. Not that you'd need to submit a Nexus character for that though, I suppose we could just do it on the side, if you're up for it at all.
