So, Schradinger. You and Yoshua gonna do a sword fight?
The only times I've seen someone actually lose to a firearm, was when they got repeatedly caught out of cover and kept charging their foe head on without any attempt at evening the odds.

Just because you bring a knife to a gun fight, doesn't mean you lose.

Does remind me I need to get a great sword later for one of my characters.

You and me both.

Can't help but love over-sized weaponry.
Your turn to post Important.
Big swords?

A 100-tiered system is basically the excact same thing as a 10-tiered system.

97 = 9,7

I am -very- interested in seeing the 15-tiered system.
5,000 tons could lift my 280 feet mecha twice over :)
To be honest, based on the limitations, my mecha shouldn´t be able to move around at all. It´s own weight far exceeds the limits. Heck, even the missiles themselves collectively exceeded that limit.

I am in favor of pushing the boundaries of the high-tier lifting capacities. What was said is true, that tier does favour magical abilities and destructive equipment a lot more than physical output, which makes it very one-sided and dull. A physical-focused character already has the limitation of having less powerful ranged output (usually) - Shouldn´t need to be put down to a level at which they´re unable to penetrate even basic high-tiered defenses. And let´s face it, at that level, a single well-placed punch should -break- a low-tiered character unless avoided.

Also, Yoshua, welcome to the fray. Don´t let Beta put you off, we´re all happy to gain more fighters :) As long as you don´t bail in the middle of a fight, we´ll have no problems.
Sounds rad. Good work!
