"Muhuhu..." The ominous sound of dark laughter wafted from a slight figure perched upon her swivel chair, her eyes roaming about the screen so fast that it was a miracle that she didn't become dizzy. This villainous sounding person was none other than Atori, a girl who could only be described as a manic. With the only source of light coming from her computer, the majority of the room was either bathed in blue light or full of elongated shadows. Posters of various media adorned her wall, the majority either about Japanese media or martial arts. Takatakataktaktakatak.

Her face alit with the screen glare, Atori Hoshigane avidly watched her game come close to an end. Only then did her blazing blurring fingers come to a stop. "That was a fun air juggle.~" Onscreen, her avatar in the fighting game proclaimed victory with a V sign and a happy exclamation while her substantially larger opponent was doing an impersonation of a bear rug. With this, the girl had defended her spot from yet another challenger hoping to make a name for himself. Relaxing, the tense girl laid back in her seat with a sigh of relief. It was rather close, this match and now she could finally relax. Looking at the clock, she found it was getting rather close to midnight.

"Hm... Later then I thought..." The college student lightly stretched, popping noises emanating from her body even as she moaned ecstastically. "Still, I've defended my title." Logging out of the game, the girl looked around a bit before getting ready to turn off her PC. "Hm... Oh!" Retrying the link to this supposed new game, she found that a new message popped up. "Closed beta?" Curious, she waited. A few minutes later, nothing happened. "A prank? Hm..." Deciding that was enough for the day, the undergrad clicked Shut Down and flopped on her bed bonelessly. "Ah, I love you so much, Mr. Bed..." With that, the girl instantly drifted off instantly.
Okay, at this point in time, I want to point something else. If you have an idea that involves things such as religious orders and such, please bring it up in the thread or the PM because odds are, if I don't know what you're talking about, I cannot put it in the setting. Also for the sake of at least asking permission too, since that would be rping etiquette and I might not be completely okay with some ideas, okay?

Secondly, please use the character sheet I set up in the beginning of the thread rather than your own. It's a lot easier on me this way.

@Pathfinder: I don't think I'm at all okay with the armor idea, and would you mind explaining more in depth about the Order you've concocted?

@Dynamo: Change your character sheet please. Also all your Artes are too strong atm.
Yes, from the Prohibition Era. And there might be alcohol. Also Shiroe does not trust easily. XD
Seeing that people were indeed talking amongst themselves and building familiarity, Shiroe nodded in satisfaction. Not only would this make things more productive, but with everyone on tiptoes with each other, he wouldn't have to worry too much about severe inter group conflict at the moment. His lips unable to quirk themselves upward, a rather sly smirk found its way onto the Archmage's face. Adjusting his glasses once more, Shiroe then peered at the current groupings. Several had taken up the offer of this "System Lord" and were now following behind him, heading towards the nearest tall structures. The rest were still milling about, comforting or questioning each other.

Making a split second decision, Shiroe let his feet take him after Ba'al's group, but not before summoning a <<Bug's Light>> to leave behind in his place. A rather simple magic that summons a glowing orb with a simplistic and cute face, the glowing transparent thing floated where the mage used to stand. Its job was to guide the remaining group after the others and since it was connected to its caster by an invisible bond, would not get lost. Making sure to keep a particularly close ear and eye on Ba'al, what Shiroe heard made him grimace. The title of "System Lord" and the claim of ruling many solar systems... It was enough to set his scalp prickle. Though he had no proof that a System Lord was good or evil, just the fact that they ruled over this much expanse of space was enough to be a concern. After all, those with such power often had certain beliefs... If dealing with the nobility of a fantasy world was complicated, how much more would it be to one whose territory were planets?

While Shiroe was busy ruminating and piecing together the puzzle in his mind, the group came into view of a certain line of buildings. For the most part, they were houses built rather shoddily or of primitive designs. However, a bluish gray hotel skyscraper laid in the midst of the objects like an elephant among ants for it stretched thirty stories high. Though it looked slightly outdated by modern standards, it still had an appealing design and warm golden light drifted from the windows, indicating that there was indeed electricity. In the dark,

A rather ornate sign indicated that the hotel's name was dubbed as "Oasis", though the doors that should have been open closed behind solid wooden doors. Quite likely it was due to being located in a rather seedy part of the City. One could even see that all their windows had strong bars firmly locking the portals from being opened from the outside. Shiroe took in this scene silently. "It looks like it came out from the Roaring Twenties..." This might make a good place for either information gathering, a temporary shelter or even as a base, though one would have to figure out exactly how to do so. Force would work to give them entrance, but there were also other gentler methods to employ. He watched, waiting to see what the others would do. Actions did speak louder than words after all.
Ah, okay. Both are accepted then. Thanks for clarifying. ^__^
@Sarcastic Devotee: Your character seems very good though I do have a question. Is the Hell Pyre Arte a variant made for bows or does Justice have a sidearm tucked away somewhere? Since it's an Arte commonly made for swords, eheh.

@Superfly: Your character also seems fine. Though she's not a Zaelborn, right?
Canon means any and all character from an established media or franchise. Now please either edit your character or come up with a new character if you are still interested in joining.
@Card Captor: I'm sorry to say that while basing powers and appearance on existing sources is generally okay, you're basically outright plagiarizing a canon character. Can you please come up with something a bit more original? ^^.
Yeah, that sounds like the best order so far. ^^.
Since this is a Tales RP, I'm all about people starting off small and getting stronger through better items/more moves. So nothing too strong for the moment, okay? And Skills can be both active and passive effects such as the ability to reduce damage to a certain degree, to buffing yourself via a certain action, to speed-casting magic.
