"...I'm sorry..." Takahisa turned around quickly, he didn't want to be seen crying or even shedding a tear. The ground began to rumble, as if Takahisa was actually summoning many vines to come up and prevent anyone else to go after him, he wanted to do this alone. Though, Takahisa was then reminded of the very words that Ayimu said.

"I knew it....you're just like him....your pathetic brother...."

Those words echoed in his head, he then started to realize something.

"I can already tell you're going to die the same way as your brother, Takahisa Yakao."

By now, the vines were starting slowly come out of the ground, about the height of their knees. Takahisa knew those words from Ayimu were just usual demon jabber, but for some reason, he was starting to realize that she may be referencing the mistake that his older brother Monoso made, the very mistake that costed his older brother his life. It was only now that Takahisa realized it, that he was taking fate too seriously, that fate wasn't the absolute future, there was always another way. Realizing that he was about to make the very same mistake, of going alone and believing that there was only one way, Takahisa quickly turned his head towards Armin, his eyes full of worry and regret. And then...the vines grew over to the point where Takahisa and Armin couldn't see past the vines which separated them. Desummoning vines would take forever, and he knew that Ayimu was going to break free soon, there was no going back anymore, even if he wanted to now.

"...I....I can't even hold up my promise...Monoso onii-chan..." Takahisa cried, but he had to do this method now as he was technically trapped here once Ayimu awakens. Closing his eyes, Takahisa held out his two hands, a magic seal began to materialize in front of him.

Back outside the vine prison that Takahisa had made, Armin would see that the flame inside Takahisa's soul gem was starting to get even more radiant, as if Takahisa's soul was being used to it's full potential to whatever he was doing.

Kaika took a moment to track down anything nearby, but saw that there were two possible spots of a Shadow Essence. "Alright, we split up here. Remember, a Shadow Essence is really easy to feel, and I'll meet up with you if you find anything and vice versa," Kaika said to him, and quickly headed down one end of the hallway.

"We have to try, or we'll never know," Takahisa said, knowing that there wasn't any other way if he wanted to. This idea he had was for sure permanent while any other method would only be temporary like this tree prison he made. In relation to Takahisa's words, Armin would see that the small flame in the green crystal become more radiant, representing Takahisa's will to do something about Ayimu himself.

Kaika stopped at the trapdoor, but knew that it was locked as she saw a bit of chain and a lock. Kaika was always prepared though, taking out a small bobby pin and carefully using it to pick the lock, and it didn't take long for her unlock the lock. She carefully removed the lock and chain, making sure she doesn't make too much noise. Then she opens the trap door and peeks a bit to see if there was anyone in the 2nd floor of this building. It was clear, so Kaika gave a signal to Eren before jumping down and landing without a single noise made.

"Sounds like it. Should had taken my assassin training a little more seriously, but whatever," Kaika whispered as she quietly made her way to the trap door to the 2nd floor of the building below. She made sure she was crouching down as lowly as possible since getting seen on the roof of the building was not something she wanted to deal with. She also made her foot steps so quiet, it was like her weight was like a feather.

"I...I can try something, but it's risky," Takahisa said, having a certain idea on his mind. He took out a green crystal from his pocket, it had a small flame of green light inside. "I want you to take this and protect it with all you got, don't let it break. It's hard to explain it well, but this is basically my soul in a physical form. It breaks...then I die... Just in case I don't manage to keep her contained..." he said, handing the green crystal to Armin. It was obvious that he trusted him that much to even hold the very artifact that held his own soul inside.

Seeing there was a metal ladder on the wall of the night club building, Kaika immediately began to climb up, making sure she doesn't accidentally make too much noise going up.

"Yeah...but I have a feeling that she's going to wake up soon and that tree isn't going to hold her for that long...we need to get out of here..." Takahisa said, but started to have doubts that Ayimu was going to regain consciousness and break free from the tree he created.

"Penny?!" Ruby was caught off guard by the hug. "Nice to see you again. What are you doing out here? I was going to help the rest of my team prepare for the festival then I heard about a boat." She blushed a bit from the sudden hug as well tho she smiled at her friend. "A little tight tho.."

Penny let go of Ruby, seeing as she was hugging her too tight. "I wanted to explore the city more, and meet new people," Penny says with a smile to Ruby. It was all good to see her friend once again.

"Aw man, I think we lost them..." Saito said as they couldn't see the Warp Star anywhere in the sky around them anymore. "I'm sure that Kirby can handle Quote on his own, just get us down from here," Aege said with a bored tone. For a moment, Saito looked down and realized something, but didn't want to say it right away. "Just spit it out, we don't have all day," Aege groaned, he swore that Saito acted like a child all of the time. "Well...er, I don't think we're above Dreamland anymore, and I don't know how to get back if we really went far," Saito pointed out, and was nervous to see if Aege was mad at him. All that came from the other Kirby was a frustrated sigh. "Fly in one direction, see if we can find somewhere to land," Aege grumbled, to which Saito understood the plan for now to land. As Saito flew while Aege held onto his feet, the sunlight of the sky began to slowly transition to moonlight of the night.

Kaika knew they had to sneak inside the night club because they were underage, so she quickly ran into a dark alleyway, but didn't go too fast so Eren can keep up. By now, Peyton had driven off, but would come back for them later.
