*breaths life into roleplay*

I'm starting to have a feeling that I should make one more GM post (not using my characters) just to get things going again.
[Penny, Quote, & Kirby - Vale - Afternoon]

Just a few minutes into the bakery, and then they hear a sudden burst of the bakery's entry doors. Before they could even get a clear glimpse on the person who just barged in, they were bombarded with the flashes of a camera. Like she didn't mind it, Penny only blankly smiled at the camera's directions, not so fazed by the flashes. At least Kirby was still somewhat asleep, not at all affected from the flashes. However, that wouldn't be the same story for Quote, who rubbed his eyes right after looking at the camera's flashes.

"What....what the hell?" Quote grumbled as he was stumbling in a dizzy manner, comical stars swirling around his head before he shook himself a bit to get the dizzy feeling out as well as the stars around his head. By the time he regained his sight, he was quite pissed off from Aya's sudden entrance, forgetting that he was acting the innocent type to Penny and Ruby. Taking out his magic paintbrush, he swipes it in the air and out comes a very very large rocket launcher, which he manages to carry easily. "So, wanna know what my little friend can do here? Besides, whatever this baby can do, it's definitely Michael Bay approved," Quote said with some sly humor, despite the very fact that he was aiming the ol' so weapon of death right at Aya, and not to mention that he was using this kind of dangerous weapon in a bakery.
At first, she thought this was some kind of trick being played on her, because everyone knew that it was so rare for Abstergo to actually choose people to test out their games, to the point where the idea of it was like a miracle. Well...believe it or not, but Melody was one of those lucky testers. She wasn't that much into gaming, but she only played the games developed by Abstergo for how accurate each historic setting was to the real deal. If you knew Melody well enough, you would know that she was a fanatic with different kinds of histories within different kinds of cultures. There was one time where she actually forgot to study for a history test, and decided to play a certain game with that historic setting to get some of her study time back.

Walking into the waiting room where the other testers would be at, Melody readjusted her glasses as she shyly noticed that there was a good number of people here already. Her straight black hair was in a short ponytail, and she wore a simple white buttoned shirt, red plaid skirt, and black sneakers. Quietly, she took a seat, not sure on what to say at first due to the amount of people here. Melody was always sheltered, she took home schooling and online schooling for her entirety of high school, and she rarely talked to others outside her family. So...this was quite a new experience for her...
With that said, Takahisa fell asleep soundly.
Despite their swift movements and attempts to sneak by, both of them were noticed by the rooftop guards. "Shit, run!" Kaika cursed and began to speed up their pace on the rooftops, even throwing some knives at the archers to kill them before they would eventually shoot them down.
Finally posted, but it's rushed because it's almost time for my dentist appointment.

Also off from school now! :D
BGM - Hunter of the Dark

With that much focus on properly fighting against Kaika, Yasu was basically that non-attentive that he was thrown around like a ragdoll from all of those attacks, and yet...he was still alive after that. Slowly standing up from the crater from the last attack, Yasu was getting annoyed by these nuisances, they were just as annoying as Kaika's allies, always getting in the way.

"Er, guys...I think you might want to get out of the way. This is between me and Yasu," Kaika said as she knew that this was their last fated battle, before she would eventually die from the Lifestream overusage. Just like that, she rushed towards him once more, gaining speed from the help of her newly formed angel wings and reading her blades for combat. Even if she knew that Yasu deserved to be attacked like this, she felt like it was more satisfying to defeat him herself and herself only. In that instant, the two began to clash, life versus death. Swinging her blades with lightning speed, Kaika began to send many pure energy waves at Yasu, and with the addition that Yasu began to send his own shadowy energy waves at hers. It wasn't long until Kaika managed to overpower his energy waves with her own, ascending into the air with her wings. "Et tenebræ tuæ erunt purgatum!" Kaika shouted in Latin as her body was surrounded with powerful energy, and she began to dive down towards the stunned Yasu, appearing like a speeding meteor heading towards him. The moment she rammed into him, Kaika slashed her blades at him once, and the force of the energy was that strong that this burst of energy was enough to send Yasu flying some distance away, to which Kaika flew after him so she could get a few more slashes and hits on him.
This was it, the original Shadow Replica couldn't do much more, not with the fact that Yasu wasn't there to help the being out. Alius was in shock that she would be defeated like this, unable to do much as the burst of thunder was more than enough to knock out the Shadow Essence that she was. To the others, Alius's presence appeared to be completely eradicated from the physical world, but Alius's essence would always return back to the After World to restore itself in dormancy.
"Well...we're not sure if it was a real witch, since we were investigating the island to see any logical explanation...though that's all I know before I got here...' Tris shrugged, she wasn't really believing it was Witches that caused the mass murders in the first place, and she was one of those rare children that actually didn't believe anything to be real fantasy.
As soon as they got to the roof, Kaika began to run as fast as she could, jumping over the gap between two buildings and landing without a problem.
"Night," Takahisa said as soon as he got to the bed.
Well...it's inevitable now. After this fight against Yasu, Kaika's going to be dead no matter what. She did just use the last piece of her remaining soul to enter Lifestream form, and after that, she'll just die from the lack of a soul that is used up from the Lifestream.

But don't worry guys, Kaika has some technique that would technically keep her around in this roleplay. ^^
BGM - Xion's Theme

Kaika's body was starting to lose the energy that gave her life, but she slowly pulled out the Spirit Shard hidden in the white bandaging around her leg. From what she could see, her Spirit Shard's soul flame was starting to dim, the flame losing it's beautiful brightness that made Kaika's soul stand out from the rest. This is it?...I'm...I'm going to die now? Kaika thought as she heard the others come and try to save her life, but she knew that fate wasn't going to allow that to happen. When Kaika made the Spiritual Pact with Miki, she was tied to one fate only, and this was her fate, and she couldn't bypass her fate or else she would had been dead 2 years ago when the pact was made. Shedding a single tear, Kaika regretfully closed her eyes, holding the dying Spirit Shard to her chest. This was going to be the end of her story, and the regret began to wash over her as she never really did much to protect the ones she's lost already or that she'll fail to protect the ones she still has since she's going to die now. Slowly opening her eyes again, just before she would inevitably lose her sight, she saw that her sight was already dimming, she could barely make out who was nearest to her, and that was soon to be her hearing. It was time that she will finally suddenly succumb to her fate.

As everyone was rather distracted by Kaika's sudden fatal injury and her eventual upcoming death, Yasu was ready to end this petty fight once and for all, taking flight into the sky with the help of his bony wings. Raising his scythe into the sky, the weapon was being powered up by the many essences of the Shadow Replicas and corrupted souls. It would only be a few minutes before Yasu would ensure that Kaika and possibly the others nearest to her will be dead.

Why can't I do anything else now?...as much as fate wants me dead....there's so much I could do to help.... Kaika thought, and then remembered something. Her Lifestream, she still had at least one more use of that power, but then that would also end with her dead. No, she didn't want to be a coward and live, but die with at least the memory that everything is settled.

"No....I don't want to die....not now...." Kaika spoke with a raspy voice, tightening her grip on her Spirit Shard as she struggled to at least sit up from where she laid, blood dripping from her open chest wound. "....I.....want to at least....die with....the final say....." Kaika said with a lot more force in her voice, and then her eyes widened with sudden persistence to live for a bit more,"Lifestream!!!"

BGM - Light of the Worlds

Like an eruption, Kaika's body was surrounded in the purest of energy, given at least some time left on her remaining lifespan from the many spirits of the past Pact Bearers before her. Even if there was some people around her as the energy burst out of her, the energy was that controlled that the energy did not harm any of Kaika's allies, and even felt like it was refilling them with energy that originated from Kaika herself. Yasu only gave an interested smile at this, as if he was finally getting a challenge out of the Pact Bearer, but swung his scythe at them below and an arc of dark energy was sent down from sky and towards them. The moment they would be struck by the fatal attack, Kaika's golden broadsword appeared from the developing pure energy and easily broke through Yasu's attack.

"Not even close Yasu...I'll tell you this...I will save Sota from your possession, even if it means that I'll die in the process..." Kaika's voice could be heard as the energy around her disappears, revealing that she had a new outfit* and that she wielded a second sword besides her golden one, and this second sword appeared like a rapier made out of light energy. This was Kaika's Lifestream form, the strongest form that a Pact Bearer can achieve, and since her affinity was Life Energy, this was the strongest Lifestream form out of the many other variations of it. The remaining energy around Kaika morphed into the form of angelic wings. Knowing how much time I have with the Lifestream, I have only 15 minutes to force Yasu out of Sota's body, and then after that...I'm dead... Kaika thought as she waited for Yasu to make his move.

"That's what I like to hear from you, I've been waiting for this for a long time Kaika!" Yasu said as he charged up his scythe with the most deadly kinds of darkness he could conjure up together, diving down from the sky and towards Kaika.
(*the outfit is pink instead of black)
Alius's eyes widened as the barrier that he made from the replicated weapon was broken that easily. Desperate, Alius puts together a last ditch effort, but knew he couldn't die since every time he's killed, he would be sent back into the After World in dormancy for thousands of years. Exiting out of the replicated body of EMBR, Alius was once again that formless mass of shadows.

"S҉̷͝҉a͏҉̸̸̕y̷̵͟͢͜ ̛́ỳ͟͟ò̶͘͟u̡̡͝͡͝r͢͟ ҉͜͞͞͞p̷͝r͝͝a̸͞͝y̡͡e͏̷̛̕r͘͜s̨̀͘!͟͏͢ ̢͢S̴̴h̛̛͢͜à͟͡͏t͘͢͏t̷̶͢e̛̕ŗ̴̡́͜ ̸̨̧̡̨u̡̕͟͠ṕ͘ón̕͟͟͜҉ ̴̀͜͏t҉̵̡͡ḩ̴é̛̛ ͟p̵̨̀͘͜r̀͠͞͡o͞͏̸҉͟w̴͘͜e͏͢͝͡s̴͘͢͠ś͘ ̴͢ó͞f̷͡ ̴̛̀̕t̷͠h̡̛͠e̷͜͝ ҉҉̢̧o͟r̷̀͟͠i̵̡͟͞ģ̨́į͘n̛͡a̢͝͝l̷͟ ̷̸̢̨S̶̵̡̡̀h̨͢a̢͘͘d̡͢͟͠ó̴̧͘͝w̷̧͜ ̸͘͝R̨e̢̛p̵̷̡͜l̛͠i̸͠͡c̴̨ą̀͡!͢͜҉̵" Alius's voice was quite distorted in shadow form as she began to expand her shadows everywhere there was in the Red Night, red eyes appearing everywhere with a glowing and piercing effect. Just like that, the red eyes began to emit many blasts, beams, and even explosions of Shadow Essence energy.

Back with Reimu, the red eyes would only multiply back once a single one was destroyed. The same kind of attacks came from the red eyes, releasing as many kinds of blasts, beams, and explosions from Shadow Essence energy.
"Whatever you say," Kaika said as she began to quickly scale up the wall of a building with no problem, having already used her sixth sense to figure out where the rooftop guards were located at . This direction she was headed had little of those guards up there, so she was sure to get up with no problem for now.
"Oh, sure..." Takahisa said, not so troubled by Armin's offer to carry him.
