"If that's the only option...yes," Takahisa said grimly, but happened to reference if there was a possible way besides that, which he didn't know at the moment.
After finishing the notes for this class, Kaika went and fell asleep on the desk one more time. This is probably why she chose to sit all the way in the back.
After getting used to her own basic senses once more, such as seeing, feeling, hearing, smelling, and tasting (even if the last one wasn't really necessary right now), it was surprising that she hasn't even taken in the details of her surroundings by now. From what she saw, it was like the entire world she stood on was sucked completely dry of it's life, not even a single weed stood out in the barren and dry dirt she stood upon. Especially from the viewpoint of a fallen Pact Bearer that specialized on manipulating the energy of life, this sight of this barren world actually disgusted her. In reality, this world was like a reminder to what would happen if the forces of the "After World" would overrun the Living World, draining all of the life energy from the Living World entirely. "So this is some kind of weird-ass limbo...but the more I think about it...the more I think that this isn't limbo at all," Kaika said to herself, her purple eyes narrowed in confusion as even with the experience of her dimensional travels, this completely stumped her.

That was when she managed to feel a bit of a strange presence, a power that actually rivaled or overpowered the essence of the demon god Yasu. For that single moment, Kaika panicked and glanced around to see if she could figure out if this power was near her, but luckily, it wasn't actually on this barren world. Whatever the dark power was, Kaika could sense it faintly, and she got the instinct to look up. Above in where regular people would call beyond the skies the "heavens," astonishment grew on her face upon the sights of entrancing but terrifying spectacular in the skies, and for a moment, she was reminded of all of the stories of the "Reality Wars" that Miki would always remind her about. Not that she's actually seen one before, or that her experiences with the Shadow Replicas had actually triggered a Reality War, but something about this seemed like a pretty good portrayal of a Reality War that she could see. Only this wasn't a Reality War, and it was something probably much greater, as even Kaika knew that Spirits and Demons wouldn't go as far as this.

"I have a feeling that I'm screwed if I stay on this planet. Like hell I would know if some stray attack is aimed here," Kaika said to herself with a bit of urgency, and even if it doesn't seem like it, things that don't seem to happen always occur to happen anyways. Better safe than sorry. Taking one more look at the mess of the sky, she also took notice of that glowing planet that belittled the ships that much, it was like the ships were just mere atoms compared to what this planet was. It was safe to assume that the dark power she felt moments before came from this planet, as nothing else appeared to carry that devastating force within besides that certain glowing planet.
Of course, Derek wouldn't be able to figure this one out that this Gardevoir didn't have the fairy sub typing. I have a feeling that Togekiss would had to resist an incoming Moonblast, I just know it... he thought, but wouldn't let that stump him now. Besides, Togekiss had massive bulk, so it wouldn't get knocked out easily from attacks. "Let's go with an Air Slash!" Derek said, and Togekiss flapped its wings once to let out a wave of energy towards Gardevoir, and it was for sure not going to get affected by the blue shield from the opponent's Reflect.
Well...that's quite peculiar to see, and that's coming from someone who's born into peculiar things... Mitsuka thought as she felt the strange soul that had three different essences mixed together. She still stayed in hiding, not seeing it as the right timing to come out and reveal herself just yet. Though, she wasn't actually aware of the image of Free looking around due to the fact that she couldn't "sense" it wandering around for anyone to be found.
"Oh yeah, that cat..." Takahisa mumbled a bit, not so bothered by that as he's seen weirder himself, however, he froze when Armin asked about this next question. For once, Takahisa was actually hesitant to say it. "...I'm not even sure if there's another way...but we have to..." Takahisa spoke, but wasn't able to say the last few words as it was something that he thought it would shock Armin.
Kaika only rolled her eyes, but at least it gets the job done. At least this isn't calculus, that would probably confuse the shit out of him... she thought, since she always found Geometry easier than algebra. It did make her wonder on how he was putting up with this kind of math.
"Garchomp, get out of there!" Derek said, seeing that he had nothing much to counter this Earthquake. Garchomp stopped the Dragon Claw attack and tried to evade the tremors, but due to the slightly reduced speed from it's Mega form, Garchomp couldn't get out of there in time and was knocked out from the attack. Even if his more aggressive pokemon was knocked out, Derek couldn't help but grin,"Cool, that was a Mega Evolution too. It's not over yet, let's go Togekiss!" After recalling Garchomp, Derek threw out another pokeball that let out Togekiss, who gracefully flew in the air in an excited manner. "Strike back with Dazzling Gleam!" Derek called out, going for a special-attack oriented move this time as he saw that Garchomp's Earthquake didn't affect Swampert earlier. Togekiss generated bright flashing projectiles near it, and then letting loose those flashing projectiles at Swampert with great speed.
"Maverick will stay here and make sure that nothing happens here," Tris said to image of Free, getting a slight nod from Maverick as he wasn't that bothered to stay here.

Hidden in a bush, Mitsuka watched quietly with her "sixth sense," and was a little confused as to why a demonic presence was taking orders from a human girl. The two didn't seem to have any link to each other, but she could faintly feel an abnormal resonance within Tris's body. Whatever that is, I don't think that girl will be human for any longer... Mitsuka thought, and debated on revealing herself to the group or staying hidden for a bit longer.
"So...er, what's this about?" Takahisa asked as they walked out of the mess hall, not sure where this was going within their upcoming conversation.
Kaika was silently doing the math notes, but since she wrote so small, it was practically a mesh of numbers and words all over her notebook paper.
Heya wizard, been awhile I guess. ^^

So I decided that Kaika would make an appearance here, since she's recently died off in Crossover Creek. Though, with the whole "fracturing a bit of her soul" thing before she actually died, Kaika is somewhat affected by amnesia, her powers are somewhat corrupted (unstable pretty much), and she obviously can die repeatedly but not permanently since she's already died (and that her soul is incomplete to die a second time).
"I'm sorry...I was too reckless..." I tried not to break down in tears, but I only let out a short cry. I did not have enough strength to even cry my heart out, especially with the fact that I was dying...so close to death now. "But...I want you...to live on," I continue with what would become my last words on the Living World, it pained me inside to see how devastating this is for Sota, even if we just had a short and brief reunion after I finally saved his soul from the demonic god Yasu. I saw this coming ever since I encountered the possessed Sota, that I had to use the last bits of my Lifestream to free Sota, but with the cost of my life being wasted away in the process. I could feel my soul drifting away from my body, my basic senses being drastically weakened. "No...no...you can't be serious, what about the others?" Sota responded towards my words with complete and utter shock, I couldn't blame him, this may be the first time that he had to deal with losing someone dear to him. I got used to it, after losing so many people I was holding dear. The list could go on for awhile, and I wouldn't want to think about it as a memory lane for me. Wanting to at least savour what time I had left, I force myself to lean up and plant a short-lived kiss that Sota would share with me, and then....and then....everything went black. At least before I died....I let a piece of my soul go out free, to make a reincarnation for the anticipation that Yasu would come back after my death...

As if all of that was a bad dream, Kaika sprung awake with unsteady breathing, sweat trickling down her face. That, whatever happened from what she last remembered, could not be a dream, actually scratch that, that should had ended all with her death. If she was really dead, then what was she doing here? She couldn't recognize this place at all, and from what she knew, she should be at the "Witness World" Miki talked about some time ago. That world was where all souls of Pact Bearers would go to be judged in a special manner, see which soul would be fit to continue as a normal Spirit or become an Elder Spirit to continue the Pact Bearer process, or even just become immortal without all of that fate mess.

Then, if that's the case, if she went with the belief that she's really dead...then what was she doing here exactly? Was she just some lost soul wandering around or still a human being with messed up spiritual powers? Kaika looked at herself, first off she was wearing a different set of clothing that seemed like it came from the Spiritual World. It did make her wonder what was up with most of her clothing having hoods of some kind, but of course her hair wouldn't stay hidden under the hood, considering her hair was long enough to reach down to her knees. Secondly, she noticed that there was a strange symbol marked above her chest, maybe it was symbol that signified how Kaika's soul is now "incomplete" due to how she had created a reincarnation using a piece of her soul before dying, thus Kaika assumed that her soul-like powers would be corrupted by the darkness that would fill up the missing piece of her soul. The only thing that felt familiar was the fact that her spiritual abilities were still in tact, but it wasn't limited in different transformations before. It was just it's raw power without all of the limitations now, so that seemed helpful if this unfamiliar place wasn't a safe place.

"But what am I kidding?...what am I fighting for now if I'm dead?...this is probably some weird kind of limbo, as Miki would come up to me first of all and tell me the test within the Witness World...but that hasn't happened yet," Kaika sighed to herself, not sure on what to do. Now that she thought about Miki for a bit, Kaika felt like her memories were also screwed up as much as her soul's condition was. With the fact that a piece of her soul was fractured away, but the fact that a part of memories were fractured away made things a bit hard for Kaika to think of what she'll do here. It would be a pain for her to figure out what exactly she has no memory on. Despite that, she stood up with a wobbly stance, as if she were asleep for an eternity and almost forgot how to stand. If she was here, then certainly there was a reason and purpose for her being here, to make some kind of difference. She didn't know what that could be, Kaika was confident to find out, it would only take time to decide if that's what she'll do or not.
"Oh...sure," Takahisa said, unaware of what Armin heard from that strange cat. He got up in case this were a private conversation.
"I'm not the type of person to just stand there and watch," Kaika whispered back before finally settling in her seat. By now, the bell rung, and it was the start of this class. Of course, there were those confusing math equations, and yet, despite Kaika's constant ignorance of basic things, she just seemed to like math more than any other academic course for some reason.
(its where all of the important anime characters sit at~)

"An hour and ten minutes," Kaika said from her rough memory of the last time she's been at school before now.
Takahisa was in the mess hall, apparently reading his brother's journal there to pass time.
