After that moment of confusion, Kaika realized that she was still not supposed to be here. It was all confusing. She as a soul should be in the Witness World for a test, not be in some other place in her human form. It was times like this that made her feel somewhat grateful that she had some way of finding out just what is going on that she has no knowledge on. "Yeah, I have no clue," Kaika says with an evident sigh. As if her life was going in so many directions, she might as well write a book about it. Kaika only waited for the next response, somewhat ready for it since she's been through a ton of weird or messed up things.
Having been brought here after strange reports of unknown activity, Erika was more interested than annoyed upon being dragged into this situation. For now, she decided to go along with it. "I wonder," Erika thought out loud with a slight smile on her face, not minding the others that were in the same situation as her.

Like the detective she claims to be, Erika's intelligence is top notch, and absolutely loves to show off on how logical she can be. At times, Erika can really go crazy while proving how she is the best detective there is. However, the contrary happens when outsmarted herself, Erika starts to throw hissy fits when shown to be inferior, and her reasoning is all jumbled off from the lack of focus and complete disarray of her self-confidence.
History
In the normal timeline of Umineko, Erika is to be pushed off of the boat she is on, and drifted off into the island of Rokkenjima during the typhoon. However, this is a different incarnation of Erika, where she doesn't fall off her boat, and continues her career as a detective without being killed and turned into a Witch on the island. (in other words, this is a AU version of Erika)

Personality: She is very optimistic and logical when it comes to her usual self, always trying to stay with the positive side on what she does. This is supported by how she is outgoing, humorous, and reserved. Hana is very trusting, giving her trust to others easily and being able to be trusted by others due to how positive she could be. Though, in the inside, she is full of regret after a very painful family event.
Background: Everything was perfect. Hana had everything she would had seen as blessed in her early life: a supporting family, a desire to pursue a career in art, having many friends, and being the outgoing student in high school. From there, it was all perfect, and Hana didn't go spoiled from it. However, sadly, her father was diagnosed with a brain tumor when she was 13, and he passed away from that. Her mother did not have much to support the family, thus having to have two jobs as Hana, the oldest child, was not ready yet for a job. One year later, her mother remarried with another man, who at first seemed like he would be a great addition to the family, but then turned out to be an abusive man to her mother, Hana, and her two younger siblings. Unable to force the man out of their family, Hana was starting to see the negative side of life, but when she would meet up with her friends or anyone outside the family, she would always pretend to be positive.

Zero is usually seen as violent and easily irritated, and things like being taken to this carnival would be something that she won't tolerate. Most of the time she acts quite bitter and apathetic whenever someone or something tries to distract her from her main goal, and sometimes she would attempt to kill off the responsible ones that stray her from her path. Despite how serious she can be, it's easy to manipulate her by just saying that she'll get to kill her sisters afterwards, in this case, tell her what to do.
History
Zero barely remembers her human past. When she was only 12, her abusive mother disowned her and sent her away into a brothel to be sold into prostitution. However, Zero and one other girl managed to escape and tried to live out on their own, but this resulted with the girl, which was Zero's only friend at the time, being killed by the men that would own them in prostitution. In a blind rage, Zero kills those men off with a knife, and that was when Zero would come to think of death as an art, and that she spent the last 5 years of her life killing off people, innocent or guilty, just for fun. At the age of 17, Zero was finally apprehended and thrown into jail to die off, and that she was with five other girls that were in the same cell as her. Over time, the other five girls began to die off, one by one, and it would soon become Zero's turn. However, Zero's last sight before dying was a pink flower growing from the stone floor, and that was what cursed her with the Parasitic Flower and ultimately turning Zero into an Intoner, a god-like being. Knowing that this would be bad, Zero tries to commit suicide, but is revived in the process as well as creating 5 other Intoners that appeared like the five prison girls that died earlier.This is why Zero aims to kill the other Intoners, as their powers from the Flower would fall out of control, and end the world as we know it.
Other
The Parasitic Flower grows out of Zero's right eye, and when her body is brutally destroyed in any way, the flower fully sprouts and forces out Zero in a newly regenerated body. This process repeats as the Flower remains in Zero's right eye. It is also noted that Zero may be the only Intoner that does not use the song magic, and relies more on swordplay.
