HCL: Rise of Daemon

By the time Kaika managed to get a hold of herself after her powers went haywire for a few moments, she noticed that the forest was starting to seem not as peaceful as when she first found herself here. Wait? Since when do trees hold red blood? This forest couldn't be normal... The sudden screeches were enough to force her to cover her ears due to her enhanced hearing from her energy, but it was all a horrifying transformation from the peaceful forest to a nightmare. Unable to think properly from the pressure of the consequences, Kaika accidentally activated her powers once again, this time surrounding herself in an expanding orb of spiritual energy. She couldn't call off this orb as she would just lose more control or she would be seriously attacked by whatever was lurking in the now dark forest, so all she could do was stay in the unstable energy orb helplessly.

Oh how lovely, apparently this strange blue rectangular box had somehow noticed her strange boundaries. Not that it would really bother her, but it would become a problem later on... Yukari then eyed another presence that would not be so far from her, and that was some boy with pink hair. If there were more boys in Gensokyo, then this one would certainly fit in. Though, it made her wonder what was his deal about? Using her manipulation of boundaries, she opened up another gap and stepped inside, having it close behind her. Some distance that would be in the way of this pink-haired boy, another gap opened up in front of him and let Yukari step out.

The pain was that much for him that he couldn't talk properly, only short groans or grunts of pain. The cat near them suddenly was surrounded in blue butterflies, and then forming into the appearance of a girl.

"I technically took 5 years in another timeline learning all there is on being a Master Assassin, so how would trying this out would be any harder?" Kaika said as if her overconfidence was showing, but knew this would be difficult on it's own.

Takahisa tried to talk, but coughed up a bit of blood as it was now clear that there was some kind of monstrously large blade impaled through him. They weren't alone either, as the same purple cat was near them and staring at them.

Glancing at Alexander, Five had a rather seductive expression before focusing on guiding Phanuel through what seemed to be a steadily colder and colder environment.

At the last possible second before blacking out, Takahisa threw himself onto Rachel, and the sound of flesh being stabbed into could be heard, as well as several drips of blood were the aftermath of this.

Soon, they would find themselves in an empty void with the floor appearing like a chessboard.

Before Takahisa could do anything like tell Rachel what this was, the cat disappeared from sight, but both would start to get really dizzy.

While Peyton was treating Raiden with the new electrolytes and nanopaste he managed to make from the rough information of cyborgs and UGs, Kaika turned off the TV since they wouldn't play any more video games for the moment, but she took out her phone and was searching up something.

"It's...It's..." takahisa said, but wasn't able to figure out what was that disturbing feeling. Though, once outside near the gate of the HQ, there was that same purple cat from earlier, the cat that was a disguise for the Witch Bernkastel. He froze as soon as the cat stared at him with it's emotionless eyes.
