While Yuno was still asleep, Yukiteru immediately turned around to see a man who wore a formal suit and was probably in a business or the justice system. He didn't know why this man was aking them these things...who wouldn't in a place like this? Well....

"I...I'm not sure. We just happen to be here...I can't find my phone either, so someone who was responsible...took our stuff when we weren't looking," Yukiteru explained all that he knew, careful not to say Future diary...

"Um, who are you exactly?" He asked the man, but yet not realizing that Yuno was awakening from her sleep at this moment. A soft groan came with her awakening, her opening eyes spotting two others.

Madeline was silent as it was obvious on what they needed to do. It would take some time for them to arrive at the hospital that Minene was being treated at.

"Yukiteru and Yuno Prologue"

It was a tiring day. Physically and mentally. To most, it was a freak accident. For these young teenagers, it was progress. Not long ago, they had finished off someone that wished to kill them. Why? It was all because they participate in a "Survival Game." The design of it was simple: 12 people participate, battle to the death, last one alive becomes god. These two teenagers that killed off a participant were a part of this game: Yukiteru Amano, the 'First,' and Yuno Gasai, the 'Second.' While authorities try to make sense of the situation, the two of them enter a police car, alone. Yukiteru saw that Yuno was about to fall asleep, her head leaning against his shoulder as they sat in the backseat of this police car. The pink-haired teen snuggled in his jacket that he had lended to her. Despite how she acted in the shrine, all of this made her seem harmless. Seeing as they were alone here, Yukiteru saw no problem to...

"Good night, Yuno," he whispered to her ear, unsure if she were still asleep or just acting asleep. The very next moment, he raised her head up as he leaned in for as kiss right on her lips. Then... he possibly fell asleep as well.

Arriving at the mansion...
Awakening from their slumber, Yukiteru was the first to awaken and stand up from the cold floor of...a mansion's entrance hall? He didn't remember ever coming here. He and Yuno were in a police car to be escorted home...and they were here instead. That didn't sound right. And it unnerved him that there were others here, others that looked out of place. He turned his attention to Yuno, she was still fast asleep.

"Yuno...Yuno wake up," Yukiteru muttered to his partner, gently shaking her asleep self. Then he remembered, he had his Future Diary to help out! Wanting an explanation for this, he reached into his pocket to retrieve his Future Diary...but it wasn't there? No, no that was bad. If he didn't have it, then whoever brought him and Yuno here has it. Without it, he felt vulnerable, that someone could lure him into a trap without him knowing it. He began to think that Yuno's Future Diary was missing too.

"Yuno, please wake up. We're in a bad situation right now," Yukiteru began to shake her even more, he needed her awake. He ignored the possible others that were in this entrance hall with them to begin with.

PROLOGUE
"The Storm"

Rain droplets pounding, clock hands ticking, these sounds eerily went together well, like a symphony to all. It was the very melody to awaken all of you from the unaware slumber you all took. Regardless of what you did before, you find yourself asleep on the icy cold concrete tiled floor. There are many that were dragged to this mansion, as you could tell from the diverse bunch around you. While it was a huge mansion, it apppeared at the moment that you were to stay in the entrance hall, all other doorways that lead to different areas in this mansion were blocked off. Other than the fact that this was a spacious entrance hall, there was a portrait of a woman in an elegant ball gown, and a plaque with some message etched onto it.

If you check yourself for your belongings (items of importance) they were all gone, as if the person or persons responsible had stolen your items while you were unconscious.

There was nothing else to ponder about. Maybe a good first move is to acquaint those that are here, or maybe explore this entrance hall. From first looks, you had a feeling that this entrance hall was clearly a place of interest for this mansion. So an important event might occur?

Oh, don't even think of leaving the actual mansion building, you can hear the typhoon storming and raging outside the mansion.

Change of plans. Since I might have time tomorrow and I have everything prepared, the IC will either start by tomorrow or Tuesday.

While she did say that she had no emotions, maybe being in a physical human form might be forming some emotions as well. It was always new to see someone like Light to give his respects to her, given that she is the vessel of Kami. "I'm certain that you will win against this detective. It would not be your first time with a challenge such as this," Madeline said with her monotone voice, but a hint of recognition and acknowledge could be seen in her otherwise blank eyes. While the first time around with this praise from the shinigami king, Madeline expected it this time, and thus she was not as surprised as last time.

"Either way, after we see who becomes the victor here, I know for certain that you'll be a person of interest. In a way, you are basically giving us and many other higher-ups a show," Madeline said, making it sound ambiguous if there were more involved,"For those possible witches, they probably just see this as a simple game... they have pieces in play..." A moment after that, a simple smile appeared in on her face, though it seemed unnatural on the usually emotionless vessel.

"Be honored to have interested more than one, Light Yagami," Madeline spoke, referencing the time where she had revealed her origins to the one otherwise secretly known as Kira. After that was said, her smile went away to allow her emotionless self be apparent once more.

Madeline wasn't at all surprised by this, she knew that there was something odd about this one. "...*sigh*... I had a feeling that there's more that we have to deal with," Madeline sounded rather tired on her part,"And I know that will be the case. It isn't a coincidence that the detective in these parts happens to call herself 'Bernkastel.' It also is quite interesting that there's two individuals that aren't supposed to be here, and that's not including us two." It was like both Madeline and Lucius knew things that Light did not, things that would make this whole situation involving Kira seem more of a game than an actual challenge.

"I'm fine with that! Me and Yukki can handle this task, c'mon!" Yuno said, as if it were bliss that she and Yukki would work together. Without letting the boy say anything on his end, the pink-haired teen pulled Yukki along with her towards the direction of the school ruins.

"I had a feeling she would agree to that," Madeline said with a blank expression on her face as she saw the two leave, and back to Light and Lucius,"And where shall we go to look for evidence?"
