Well, do they usually take part in things like this? From what I understand of the Umineko world, the Witches spend most of the time watching the epic battles from the sidelines, not really getting involved. Alternatively, they could try and recruit some of the more powerful of the current faction leaders into the fold.

That's usually how it works, but from what I've seen in the second half of Umineko EP8, the Witches do actually get involved with matters similar to these. Specifically, the characters Battler and Ange do get involved actively with matters like this... so I could just have the two of them notice the whole impending situation and try to ally with some of the factions (that aren't so malicious, since you know, they had a whole dispute against the Voyager Witches at some point).

Add wasn't expecting his Particle Prism to fall apart that easily against this foe... so maybe he had himself something that was on par or even stronger than both the King Nasod and Eve. Of course, he had himself a counter to this situation, some way to avoid this huge blow. Before it would be done, Add's Configuration Mode activated, his eyes receiving that black schlera once more.

"Reverse..."

Taking advantage of his space-time abilities, the Esper leapt back into the opened void behind him, having it close up in order to avoid the incoming attack. A few moments later, another void opened up behind Grimlock.



"... Circle!"

Upon reemerging from the opened space-time void and still set afloat on the two Dynamos as his platform, the Esper let loose a swift blast of electrical and temporal energy towards Grimlock's head. After that, he kept his distance from his larger opponent, since he could tell that getting hit wasn't going to be a great experience.

Besides, whatever else was going on in this world, Add didn't seem to care. There were a lot of things that would be seen as abnormal, but due to his experiences with time travel and dimension traveling, it wasn't anything new to him.

Hm... I'll wait a bit more before posting for Lapis and Elsword (at the palace) and Battler and Ange (somewhere in New York, I have no idea what to do with them. xD).

But for Add, who's just messing around with Grimlock at the moment, I'll post with him soon. ^^

As the purplish crack in space-time appeared, a sly whisper echoed out from within, the occupant on the other side of the crack not exactly showing himself yet.

"Particle Prism."

It all happened in a flash. Grimlock would find himself contained in what appeared to be a rectangular prism field, and it wasn't that easy to break down the field's walls. It was like someone had caught him into a plasma cage... and the person responsible was just appearing now.



"Well well well... just what did I catch now? Kekek..."

The Esper simply stood on two of his many Dynamos, almost like a fabricated platform so he could be at eye-level with his new captive. Though, he wasn't at all that full of himself, Add was sure to create some sort of countermeasure in the very case that this field created by the Particle Prism would break for whatever reason.

Abruptly in some place within Arcadia's New York, a cluster of golden butterflies began to appear and flutter around in one specific spot of the place. It was unknown as to where the golden butterflies were coming from, or what they hold in power... but as the butterflies multiplied more and more, it was much like they were giving shape to the newcomers of this universe.

The process soon slowed, giving form to the people that had just arrived to Arcadia. That being the Endless Sorcerer, Battler Ushiromiya, and the Witch of Resurrection, Ange Ushiromiya.



"... this is a strange Fragment, but we have our goals to accomplish here. Right, Battler-san?" Ange looked over at her brother, seeing that they were in new territory. It was unclear if this sudden change was to not intimidate those that would be nearby or that this Fragment was too far away from the Metaworld, but both of them didn't have the very appearances that would deem them to be Witches or Sorcerers of any kind.



"Well, we gotta check around for anybody. Beato gave us the whole task of finding people and rounding them up in a big coalition. Things aren't so right here..." Battler declared, wondering where they could start off with. Well, the whole city was in shambles and apparently abandoned by the looks of it. But there had to be someone nearby... just anybody...
