Kaika tried to block the shots with her blades, but they shattered after a few moments, the rest of the gunshots hitting their target as she let out a cry of agony. Kaika collapsed to the ground, but immediately got herself up with unsteady feet. "Not yet..." Kaika smirked as blood bled out of her wounds, but her body began to glow in an intense light.

In that flash of energy, Kaika's appearance changed, as if she were some magical force. "Alright, now I'm ready. Playtime's over," Kaika taunted as she summoned a golden sword that resembled an angel's wing,"Oh, and Miki, take care of Link. I can deal with this on my own." The spirit only went over to Link and a healing light began to generate above him. "C'mon you hunk of scrap metal, show me what you can do!" Kaika teased as she tightened her grip on the golden sword.

"Are you seriously going to risk your life?" Kaika said as she looked over at Link, knowing that his condition wasn't the greatest at the moment. "The link has been made Kaika-sama. How about a link towards your Lifestream?" Miki's voice echoed next to Kaika. The "assassin" only chuckled a bit and responded to the voice,"Nope. I can take it with just a link to my Remnants. But, since this was a machine, she couldn't feel much aura. "Well..shit. Miki, connect my soul to my Remnants in the Spiritual World, I have an idea," Kaika spoke to the spirit, who only gave a mere "yes." Swift, Kaika manifested an energy blade as she ran out of her cover, and threw the blade at X as she got herself next to Link. Her eyes finally stayed with that pink glow after flickering for a few moments, though Kaika seemed tired due to her body still not used to the changes after losing the seal.

Kaika said as she heard those gunshots, then looking at Lina,"If you want to tag along, that's fine." She tried to teleport to where she heard the fighting, but then flinched over in pain as she couldn't do so. "Kaika-sama. You are still recovering from breaking the seal. Please do not push yourself. Give your body time to adapt to the alterations," Miki's voice could be heard to both Kaika and Lina, but Miki still did not appear in a physical form yet. "I know I know," Kaika sighed, deciding it would be best to go on foot. "C'mon," Kaika uttered to Lina before dashing off to where Alex and Link were at, her eyes flickering to that pink glow. This is probably a bad idea, especially when my body hasn't adapted to the seal's absence...but I'm not just going to let this happen and stand around... she thought as she ran.

Beatrice didn't dare say anything, knowing that Lucifer would work herself up just to show her superior pride for being Beatrice's eldest Furniture.
In that instant, the blue butterfly shifted into the form of a girl in a dress, Bernkastel. Her magic instantly stopped all attacks from harming her. "All of you...pathetic," Bernkastel sighed, that emotionless gaze was almost haunting.

It's completely possible that you're just an accomplice to the murderer, the culprit," Niv growled under his breath, his piercing glare staring daggers to the "detective."

Niv finally speaks up, narrows his eyes at her. This was already obvious that she was buying time for someone, probably an accomplice for the actual murderer.

"Yeah, that's how society is. Once it starts to break down, it's considered trash. Well, I'll admit that some of the stuff here is pretty damn interesting," Kaika sighed, but then remembered that most of the stuff here was from the past considering Kaika came from a time over 20 years later.

Beatrice didn't seem that all surprised, heck, she was amused by this. As if she had completely forgotten about her elegance, she let out a twisted laugh that only a twisted witch like her would pull off. "Well then Gamemaker, this is only a mere challenge. Oh, this will keep me on my toes for quite awhile," Beatrice crackled, taking this as a challenge for the Endless Witch. Lucifer only stood there, used to the Witch's amusement.
