Hope giggles, and your mind is flooded with a rush of colors and pictures, as Hope tries to communicate. However, all you get is that she's quite excited, and that you're the first person that didn't 'suddenly go away' when she got close. Or at least that's what you gather from the images of piles of dust and sudden explosions. You also understand that Hope does not understand her own magic, or have the ability to talk. Outwarldy, Hope is still simply smiling at you, transmitting her thoughts to your mind.
Now it all makes sense. It was just like that girl that was a Vessel, Hope had a lot of magic energy, which would mean that normal people would be afraid. It must be an exciting experience for Hope that Kaika wasn't afraid from this, so the young Pact Bearer smiled in response. Her imagination is so...vivid... Kaika thought, removing any worry she had at the moment. Though, she had an idea, since Hope didn't seem that bad at all. "Say...how about we find a...better place to be at? I'm pretty sure this isn't a place for either of us, especially you to be at," Kaika suggests.
"There has to be someone here...I mean, it was all busy around here earlier..." Sonic says as he continues his search in flight, there he spots the Ark not too far from him. So, he decided to check it out, flying there at a fast speed. However with the worst possible timing, Sonic had exited out of his Super form, the seven Chaos Emeralds exitting his body and falling to the ground. Since Sonic was back to normal and had no way to fly, he began to fall down at the speed of a meteor, crashing into the ground right next to the Ark.
