Sonic had an idea, and of course it would require his speed to do this. "Time for some sonic speed!" Sonic says as he rolls up into a ball, and rockets off in a swift spindash towards Doomsday. Instead of just ramming into Doomsday, Sonic began to control his spindash so that he would continuously spin around and around Doomsday. The speed accelerated and accelerated to the point where Sonic's speed was enough to create a small tornado around Doomsday.

He had no time to explain things to these humans, it would be too much of a hassle to explain his strange looks. Especially with the fact that he had no mouth and his strange ears. So, Mephiles put on the hood that was a part of his outfit over his head, at least that came with his human form. He would let the others handle this type of situation, as this wasn't something that the collective mind of Solaris would ever have any interest in doing himself.

Sonic kept his guard up for anything that would come their way, since by now Doomsday knew where they were at.

Well, as things weren't progressing, he might as well play along. "I am known as Mephiles, the embodiment of the collective conscious mind of the sun and time god Solaris. As the conscious half of Solaris, I fall under the knowledgeable traits. That is all you need to know on me," Mephiles explained briefly on who h was, but still wasn't comfortable with his hedgehog/human form as he had the strange ears and no mouth.

"Yeah, we've got no time to waste, so lead the way," Sonic nods, hoping that was another Chaos Emerald for sure and not a trap. He waited for Vita and Amita to lead the way, as he couldn't really feel the power of the Chaos Emeralds. "There's a fight going on? Guess you can handle that, first priority is getting that emerald," Sonic hears Necrox say something about a fight near this sensed Chaos Emerald.

If it wasn't for the fact that I had to exclude the Chaos Emeralds from both Sonic and Mephiles, those two would be too much for their missions alone. Sonic's Super form is pretty much a 1000% boost of speed, power, and durability. Mephiles would have endless power with the Chaos Emeralds, like make an entire army of Perfect Duplicates, and that one Chaos Emerald gives him the power to summon the other six. Not to mention Mephiles has unlimited time travel abilities at will regardless of Chaos Emeralds or not.

Talk about overpowered. ><

"I'm just itching to get going," Sonic says as he warms himself up by running in place. It was clear that Sonic didn't like to be kept standing around, that he wanted to get into the action already. He was quite the hyperactive speedy hedgehog for sure. He waits for Yukiteru to lead the way.

"That I can do. Going fast is my game!" Sonic nods, agreeing to stick with Yukiteru. While he had a feeling that his attacks wouldn't do much due to not being in his Super state, his speed would make him a hard target that would keep Doomsday at bay. The only thing he was curious on was how strong of a threat Doomsday was exactly, as Sonic's pretty much fought against very powerful threats himself.

Alright, I'm planning to start the IC up with just basic chit-chat amongst the participants in the lobby, that way it'll give us time to wait for the spots to fill up right away. It'll start somewhere tomorrow, because right now I'm all pooped out from school to even making an opening post.

Mephiles only waited for any other things before starting with this mission. He basically didn't make any sort of interaction with anyone else that must do this mission with him. The hedgehog/human merely stood there until something worth his time occurred for this mission.

Sonic finds himself in his usual Hedgehog self, which felt much more comfortable to go fast whenever he needed to. Apparently, these ruins of a city reminded him of the havoc of Perfect Chaos and the invasion of the Black Arms. "Wherever this guy is, we gotta stop this fast," Sonic says, but wasn't so sure on how he would pull this off. He basically had none of the Chaos Emeralds with him at all, since he does use his Super form to take down any powerful threat down.

((Note: Sonic's speed is gradually reduced to 3/4 of what his average speed is.))

Still, Mephiles was in a humanoid form, so he could only assume that some of his more "powerful" traits were still being held back. It wasn't a good thing to figure out for the conscious mind of Solaris, but he decided that it would be even more challenging to see what he could do without those traits. "The objectives are clear. Therefore, I do not have any clarifications I would have to request," Mephiles plainly spoke, not wanting to waste much time when it comes to their mission.

((Note: Mephiles is no longer immortal and can be injured. His ability to time travel is completely negated. His ability to create duplicates is nerfed to only imperfect replicas, and only limited to two duplications to be made and existing at a time.))
