At first Sonic thought that this was a variation of Chaos Control as he slowed down while chasing Professor Zoom, not to mention that his speed was gradually lowered while the other had become faster. It was until Sonic realized what just happened. "Hey! Not cool!" Sonic said as he tried to catch up to Professor Zoom, but found that he wasn't that fast anymore to catch up to their speedy opponent.

Mokou wasn't that stupid, being able to see Hiei at that very obvious spot. "So, what do you want?" Mokou asked as she focused her gaze at him, knowing that Hiei probably stayed in sight just for her to confront him.

Even if the group was moving as fast as they could, it seemed like the deadly distortion behind them was slowly accelerating, getting closer and closer to the group. It wouldn't be long until the distortion of this parallel dimension would get to them. "Like I would know personally! This is like the second time I was thrown into this dimension," Aege sounded like he was panicking, unable to give a straight answer to Mysterion. However, this was the second time Aege had experienced this, so he was able to remember one thing that would save them from the distortion. For a moment, Aege had suddenly disappeared, probably the usage of his time warping abilities. Though, he didn't come back after a few minutes, as if he had abandoned the group. "Hey!!! Over here!" Aege could be heard some distance ahead of the group, he was standing by an entrance to an underground cave (a pretty damn big cave entrance too) which had a thin coat of bright blue aura. As soon as the group would pass through the blue aura coat and into the cave, the distortion would be stopped by this aura, as if the aura were some kind of protective shield.

"That...that was close..." Aege said, a little out of breath from the running and the usage of his time powers.

"Welcome! Welcome to the highly awaited Super Smash Brothers Tournament! As soon as all participants are gathered, then the tournament will begin!"

The participants would hear this announcement from the waiting room, or more like a lounge room with a window that gave a perfect view of the arena outside. Surely, some were still needing to arrive, and that meant that they would have to wait until they could finally get in on some action. At least with the time they had waiting, it was a good time for each of the participants to socialize and learn more of their opponents.

Parace sat herself down comfortably on a chair, adjusting her glasses as she read a book that had an Elven language. Of course, she didn't want to waste her energy before the fight by going straight into her true form, so her human disguise would do the trick of conserving her magic energy. She didn't want to go up and find someone to make conversation with. No, that would be too much decision making, so it appeared like waiting for someone to talk to her was the better option for now.

Kaika only walked out of the dark barrier that Sota made, knowing that this was starting to look bad as it is. "....what makes you think I'll say yes....like hell I'll let you do whatever you want!" Kaika exclaimed as her spiritual pact was kicking in, an aura of purifying energy began to develop around her. There was no way she would ever let Sota get hurt, and at the same time, also let Hope get hurt too. Sota wasn't sure on what to do, but knew that Kaika did give him something awhile back, and it may come into play soon if he really was going to be hurt from this growing situation.

This is the latest post on the whole situation for Stein. That special something that Sota has is really going to help him from not dying so easily.

"This forest is starting to get on my nerves..." Mokou growled a bit as she was tired of how unusually big this forest was, and this was worse than the Bamboo Forest of the Lost. Thinking that this would help her explore, Mokou let out a burst of flames in the shape of a Phoenix and had those flames crash down to the forest trees, immediately burning those trees down and making a path. Due to her control of those flames, the fire did not spread, it just burnt down the nearby trees. Many would see the smoke from the fiery blast.
