Everything has a beginning and an end. Our multiverse has a beginning, so a given time, it will also end. Though, even the greatest gods of above do not know when the expected end will occur, how it will occur, and if it will really be the end or a new beginning. All that most could do...is wait for the end.
Yet, there is still time, a thin ray of hope for life. As the ends comes nearer and nearer each day, it wouldn't be far until the fact that there is only one world left alive before the "grand finale." There, those who are randomly chosen to inhabit this last world will be the centerpiece of whether the end will happen or not. Within this last world, there will be factions that would fight for survival, either of their own beliefs or what they could do to survive. The first faction is the Legion, and the members of this faction are those that seek control over this last world. The second faction is the Rebellion, and the members of this faction are those that seek to give freedom to the last world.
Shortly after these factions are formed, the entity known as the "Knowledge of Kami" will meet with both factions, and will bring a goal that only one faction will succeed in. That goal is to "accomplish" their own goals, which will mean either the Legion will conquer all of the last world or the Rebellion will liberate the last world. Not to mention that there will be a time limit as to how long this can go on, which is before the one known as "Kami" will be reawakened. From there, "Kami" will decide if the multiverse will be restored or destroyed, and which faction will be the one to be in this new multiverse.
Truly, in order to stop the end, is to take the risk and face the costs.
