The GM’s fired rounds during a ceremony outside Alexandria

Instructor Linny’s funeral was as he wished when he was alive, a burial in space. It was my first close experience with death.

Linny’s casket was ejected flanked by two GM’s and the students and the ship’s crew attended.
After the casket was ejected Asuna began to remember Akira stabbing Linny’s cockpit as she began wiping away her tears.
Asuna left the assembly with Erisia taking notice

In the medbay Shinn watched the ceremony on video broadcast

He heard footsteps approach him, they belonged to Asuna
“Asuna…” Shinn said

"Instructor Yahagi Franziback of the Ecole du Ciel MS Pilot training school, one of my students was attempting to recover a life pod along with an instructor but ended up being ambushed by Zeonic Pirates. Another one of my students came rushing into the fight to rescue her classmate."

Another mobile suit showed itself and began firing warning shots at the two Zeon suits

“Asuna what are you doing? Get out of there!!”

“Thomas—support please.”

Asuna dodged the two particle canon blasts from the pirates ship and they disappeared as soon as she looked again.

They…ran away?

Asuna was gripping her controls in anger at her own hesitation

"Your mine!" Francis shouted as the Dom readied to slash the Canard
"I-I can’t see…!"
Asuna Elmarit. Asuna!! Did the controls switch to synchro mode? Release your controls! The coms said to her.
The canards shield blocked the blade arm of the Dom keeping it from going any further. The canard unsheathed It’s own saber and slashed at the Dom.
Francis dodged the blow
“Damn this pilot!"

"Fool! If you can’t fight them don’t try to play hero! Once I recover Shinn…I’ll head over to you. Until then I’ll handle this by remote!"
The Dom and the Canards sabers locked
The students on the ship observed the fight
“By remote…?”

“Asuna…” Emilu muttered
“Saved by the synchro mode, what a loser” Kerry said
But if she hadn't hesitated out there… this’d be over by now!! This naïveté…it’s dangerous! Erisia thought.

The Dom raised its arms for another blow
This is really on remote? I can’t see his hands, right or left which one’s it…coming from?!
Asuna dodged a particle beam from behind
A feint?! Here comes the next!

Suddenly a Kampfer appeared and locked blades with the Canard

“We’ll job description said pick up. So I guess my jobs done. We’ll have more fun later anyway when there’s more of them.”

“Another GM has just launched” said an operator
The students could overhear the attempts to communicate with the rogue MS.

“The pilot’s ID is unknown. Hailing the pilot of the GM. Please answer!” the operator said.
“Holy crap”
“There might be real fighting”
“Is Shinn gonna be alright?”
“Combat this soon?”
“This sucks man”
“Unidentified pilot…?” Erisia said wondering
“Asuna! Asuna where are you?! Where the hell…? Emilu asked”

A student was assisting the recovery before the alert.
A student?! Erisia thought
Her name was Asuna
"I’m going after her! Prepare a GM! Where’s Linny?"

Linny was semi conscious in his mobile suit

“Instructor…Linny!”

Over the legless MS loomed a Kampfer igniting its beam saber. Mercilessly it impaled the cockpit vaporizing Linny instantly.

“Instructor Linny please respond! Instructor Linny!” The coms still called his name

Francis fired at Shinn once again but he evaded
“You goddamned kid!”

Our only advantage is our maneuverability…don’t underestimate this suit…it’s been constructed to tolerate the mistakes of clumsy students.

Francis fired a barrage at the head of the MS barely damaging it.
It has superior armor and…

Shinn made a rush at the Dom escape pod and shield in both hands of his MS while Francis continued firing, Shinn’s canard executed a headbutt on the Dom giving him the advantage.

...It’s tough enough to protect itself.

"You’re mine!"
Before the canard could strike the final blow on the Dom the hand carrying the saber was vaporized by an unseen blast.
It belonged to the Pirates ship

"You screw around too much Francis!"
"Thomas! Thanks for the help."
"Crap" Shinn shouted as he attempted to evade the ships barrages.

Shinn however left himself open to a blow from the Dom.

The force made his MS loosen its grip on the pod and left Shinn broken and bleeding.

Francis the kicks the Canard and readies his Beam Saber.

Am I gonna make it?! Maybe not… Shinn contemplated his fate as he began to bleed out

A blast from far away struck the Dom before it could do anything else.

"What was that a low powered beam?"

Francis saw a canard in a nearby debris field

“Trying to divert my attention eh? What an amateur. THOMAS!”
The particle canon blasts destroyed the field
“That debris should destroy everything!!”

The Canard zoomed through the rocks without difficulty

"It’s speeding through the debris…Impossible! That pilot is the pilot a…"

My next shot is gonna be full strength! Asuna thought

Bio: Millions of years ago, some time after Optimus Prime and Megatron left Cybertron and crashed on Earth, Jhiaxus was born through the long-forgotten "budding" means of reproduction. At first a cruel and petty tyrant ruled by his irrational desires, Jhiaxus learned slowly to bury this part of himself beneath layers of icy control.Tired of the Autobot/Decepticon conflict, Jhiaxus left with his budded brethren into space, determined to begin a new Cybertronian Empire free of the war waged by those he deemed "evolutionary throwbacks". He was anointed the rank Liege Centuro of this new Cybertronian faction by the Liege Maximo, and Jhiaxus began to wipe out what he considered to be inferior life and terraform their conquered worlds.

Bio: The Cybertronians, also known as Decepticons, Second Generation Transformers, and other combinations thereof, are Transformers descended from the Decepticons on Cybertron in the time after the Ark's fateful crash on Earth. They were created by the rediscovery of "budding", a mitotic means of reproduction that diminishes the influence of Primus's life force. As a result, the Cybertronians as a whole are marked by a distinct amorality.
They share many of the philosophies of their Decepticon ancestors but otherwise do not take kindly to being associated with them. The Cybertronians view themselves as something better, a stage of Transformer life far surpassing the others. In fact, their self-appointed pedestal is so high that they can barely conceive of non-Transformers as alive at all. They left Cybertron some time ago and have since dedicated themselves to cyberforming other planets, eliminating natives with clinical detachment.

Obviously this puts them at odds with the Autobots, who value all creatures as worthy of protection, but it also causes them to view other Decepticons with revulsion: Not only will the throwbacks sometimes ally themselves with alien races, but they also experience pleasure in sadism, a savage affront to the Cybertronians' "rational" ideals. And yet, despite their forward-looking ethos, the Cybertronians for some reason serve the Liege Maximo, one of the 13 original Transformers and the progenitor of all Decepticons.

A Mysterious robotic figure loomed above the ruins of the Titans former outpost in Antarctica flanked by other machines with uniform appearances

“The military base belonging to the militant branch of the lesser beings called the Titans has been dealt with Liege Centuro.” One of the uniform machines said

“Excellent, with the dimensional travel technology given to us by Liege Maximo we are on our way to colonizing a limitless number of planets in the name of our Empire now that we know it works without flaw.

But first we must be clandestine,while we these primitive mass produced mechs hold no threat to our might but we've seen Human reports of so called Aura Battlers, winged technorganic weapons that harness an unknown power.

Getter Ray’s an evolutionary based power source the primitives have crudely created a machine powered on it, arguably making its potential limitless.
Black Technology, mysterious ideas from their backward future; advanced to these primitives but mere sticks and fire to our own technology.

The Mazinger brothers” who’s raw power betray their primitive looking appearances, and of course the greatest thorns in our sides, those outdated throwbacks the Autbobots and the Decepticons!

This includes a meddling Transtech and his Predacon assistant engaging some mindless worshippers of the Chaos Bringer himself. Gaining either parties attention would be…the most hazardous of all to our goals.

So we must take on disguises belonging to those of our hated ancestors to maintain a smokescreen on our own presence while we wait to return to ready our next assault.

But fear not brave soldiers, we are their superiors! We are of the Cybertronian Empire and soon this entire Multiversal canvas will be purged of the stain of lesser life by our flames! “

The uniform robot soldiers began cheering

Asuna waited on the ship watching the news announcement on the screen on the ship
The combat caused chaos but our life support and supplies are secure. An official statement will be issued shortly.

Her mother’s words echoed in her mind
Asuna you’re still upset at your father. Don’t speak of your father like that
She then heard Akia’s words
Why do you always stop there?
A voice calling her snapped her out of her daze
“Emilu…”
“I hear it was a group of militant Zeon remnants”
“While we are currently attempting to restore peace the militants have vowed to continue the bloodshed.” The tv said
“Maybe we’ll be sent off to war!” Emilu’s tone was jokingly but he expression became one full of worry
Sent off…to war.
In the simulator Erisia was taken aback by how powerful the Zaku simulation was.
Her training partner Kerry discussed the training data belonged to Asuna

"She could live up to being a Newtype" He said

"I wouldn't say that in front of people if I were you"
"You agree then?"
"People will just lose their trust in you. Will you leave? I’d like to continue."

So they have great instincts. Then I will gain skills that will surpass them!

Erisia glared angrily at that name on the screen.

Later into the night Asuna had locked herself with Shinn into a brig by accident, but the aftermath led for the two to become closer than ever to Erisia’s dismay.
After leaving the colony Asuna couldn't help feel uneasy about leaving her mother. She seemed like she wanted to tell her something.
Shinn was in the Food Gallery when Kerry approached him
“What?” Shinn asked
“Nothing.” Kerry answered
They were both leaning back having drinks and Kerry asks
“How far did you get with Asuna?”
Shinn spat out his drink and turned red
“It’s not like that!” He shouted
A group of onlookers heard him
“How rude” one said
“That’s so mean” Another said
“He’s just playing her?” a third one said
“What…?” A final one said

“You've got a heavy load man. You know right? Asuna…Asuna Elmarit is different from us. You have to be special to stand with her.”
A hand suddenly tore the drink out of Kerry’s hand
“What the!”
“Sorry I don’t have time to eat.”
“Instructor linny what’s going on?”
“I need to recover the lifepod from the destroyed GM. I also have to program the simulator menu”
“A life pod” Shinn asked
“We have to return it to earth. The soldiers family will want the body.”
“Instructor linny! Please let me go with you!!
“Hey what are you talking about!” Kerry said
“Shinn Barnack…didn't you used to be a marine? You can come.”
“Yes sir!”

Erisia’s words echoed in Kerry’s mind
If he doesn't get serious he’s going to die
Shinn. He thought

“I’ll always be in front of Asuna!” Shin said before he left.

It is unfortunate how close to the truth those words are fated to become..
