Dead children and fetuses, aborted souls were vanishing in strange auras of light, although those who witnessed such phenomenons were ignorant of what the source of these events was.

Act, if they're already dead, that's a no-go. You can only do it at the time of death.

It was irksome, but some things needed to be done. The zombie horde would claim North America, the Inventor would claim Asia, and so on if the trends continued as they had. If this was the case, then Ellona would simply claim the underlying structure. If they would assume direct control, she would assume indirect.

A system on a planetary scale couldn't be applied yet, not with her current power, so she'd have to make do with creating several smaller ones to knit together. A thousand points of light scattered across the planet, pale strings of ephemeral gold tying them to one another as they sunk beneath the surface.

It has to. My thing is Souls, Magic, and Primordial Chaos (The Void).

Nah, there's no overlap.

So Tatsua, how this works is until you get your full power back (Demon Lord dies), you're starting over with regards to the Underworld. IE, you don't have innumerable spirits already in your backlog from ages past, all you've got in your domain are people who have died following your Ascension. Otherwise, it's just too easy for you to pull a "MY ARMIES ARE INFINITE" deal.

Now, this gets into the spirit/soul difference. A soul is a property of the living, when the body dies so does the soul, and in its place is a "spirit". Tatsua gets the spirits.

Buuuuut, Act has authority over human souls, so that means if he's quick enough, he can take a soul away when a person dies before it decays into a spirit, and stash it in some special place for his use. If that's the case, it's still a soul, so Tatsua doesn't get control over it. That said, doing this won't be possible if Tatsua or her zombies directly kill someone, if that happens then that individual's given an auto-pass to Tatsua's world. Think of it like you've each got your own afterlife, Tatsua's being Not!Hades and Act's being whatever he wants to call it. Souls will decay into spirits and go to Not!Hades by default unless Act manages to snatch them up in time.

In essence, both of you are locked in a battle to decide who gets control of the afterlife. Have fun~

Now that's she's checked it, she doesn't need to keep checking it, so the thing she did to check it doesn't need to keep going.

...so then, it was as she expected. She was not the only one to whom it had applied.

"Boring."

Ellona sighed slightly, shaking her head as the micro black hole appeared, ready to consume the planet itself if left unchecked...

-Only for its suction to abruptly stop, the matter flying towards it freezing in midair before falling to the ground in utter immobility. The black hole itself remained in place, the exterior form "melting" away as if peeled like an onion, with each husk dissipating into the world. For the briefest of moments a sphere hung in the air as the last layer was peeled back, a floating orb that was neither white nor black, but the same hue as there was before the beginning, before it too faded away, the air vibrating for a moment as a dull thud reverbrated out through it.

"Principle of justice, spec. retribution applied. Countering of the force the singularity exerts on the world, gravity field neutralization, imminent collapse, temporary laying bare of the singularity before it's crushed by the World." Ellona said with a yawn as she sat up. "Either way, thanks for the verification. It's not just me, then."

"The condition might be met after all, so I'm gonna go investigate. You have fun, I'll permit alliance construction for the time being."

With that, the Goddess of Order once more transmuted int light and shot off, leaving the God of Magic wherever he may have been.

Ellona was already present, having retaken physical form and elected to lay down on a patch of grass, looking up at the night sky idly.

"You can go ahead and start us off, if you like. Do something cool."

The girl spoke up with a feigned yawn, her eyes closing as she crossed her arms behind her head.
