Kaelyn rolled her eyes at Landon's comment.
Their walk through campus was relatively peaceful. The sun was up high and the sky was spotless, as though someone took a towel and wiped the clouds away. There was a gentle breeze that made the warmth of the day feel more relaxed. Although things were calm, Kaelyn could feel tension between her and Landon. Like neither one of them knew what to say. Or, they knew what they wanted to say but not how or when to say it.
At last they got to her door and Landon made a smartass comment about girls. She laughed lightly.
"Yeah, well I fit a lot of 'junk' into this one suitcase, and it was only three weeks." She looked at the door and back to Landon.
"And maybe us girls have so much clothes and 'junk' because know how to look good. Unlike some people." Kaelyn teased.
