Alliance building

The Zonanese Powers has requested an alliance with the nation of Sazkarjia. They ask however that they refrain from joining whatever new pact/republic is created by the Equestrians, fearing that their possible ally might be thrown into another conflict.

Colonial Updates

Fleet Commander's Log: Captain Reyes II

They've migrated me to one of the newer galaxies we've colonized. As of now, we've colonized around five or so, two of them fully developed. It's going by fast, you know? Our economy's really speeding up, which makes me wonder if we'll go into another downturn to soon that we completely collapse like before. That's why the leading officials in the Colonies, including me, have requested to refrain from further colonization until we've fully developed these galaxies, like before. We could probably jump the gun and continue on and be fine and all, but why risk? We could be using this money for better armaments, economic growth, new gizmos and shit. It's not like we haven't been doing that. I've heard some talk about us turning one of the gems into a weapon, or these moon destroyers, though they're of course just rumors spreading around by these dumb fucking hippies. And of course they're Comus, paranoid shits, though from time to time I'll see a Domi or two. Oh well, I'll keep the journal posted. Admiral wants some log to be kept up to date for future reference, though I have no idea why...
Like my own civil war, which really did begin from a sort of terrorism/rebellion. It launched a spring of rebellions across the rest of the colonies, which survived mostly from outside support (like the Americans). There should have been infighting, in some way. I don't care if you just kill all of them (which would be hard) or just mention it, but still. No moral code you have says to respect the new leaders, at least you haven't told that anyways.

Leave the pact. We will aid you in any way, but....leave it

Fleet Commander's Log: Captain Reyes II

This galaxy has been maxed out in colonization for us. Though there are some intelligent life forms that call this place home, they do not seem to mind us bugging around. In fact, they've been allowing colonization as long as they are given a handful of planets for their own use one day. They're so underdeveloped compared to our standards, but...killing off a species to have a planet? Unethical, and the Trinity would have us leave this galaxy in an instant. The more I think about, I wonder if we must give up on our morality. It's as if the Collective or the Equestrians don't have any sense in morality at all, and I dread the day that they do something so unethical that they throw us into a pointless conflict. It's as if the Sazkarjhit are the most cautious out of all, and that stupid pact they joined is dragging them down. Now they'll have to participate in the coming bloodshed, a "gift" that I'm glad we declined to partake in, even if not for the right reasons. Hopefully the most we'll do is just sanctions, maybe combined with the AIF, but it seems they support the Collective more than the Equestrians. From reports on the latest "talks" it's as if our head ambassador was completely ignored....*sigh*. I wonder who will care about us one day...

Anyways, we've decided to expand into more galaxies, taking it slow this time. Two more have been started on, while our second is now becoming ever more developed. From what I've heard, we're beginning to pump out new techs fast back at the states. The new materials making it easy for us. When it reaches the day that we might pass one of the big dogs, maybe we wont be ignored anymore. I only fear that we'll lose our ethics and morals in the process...
So did you respond to it, Wilson? If you don't plan to just tell me, I'd guess relations would be basically neutral then.

"We will stand neutral, friends!" cried Kalihary "Any actions of war will be denounced, I do not give a damn by who. Any other atrocities will be followed by more punishments. This war will be pointless, both sides know that. Why do we have to be so damn stubborn!? If we act like this we risk the lives of billions, if not trillions! Think of another mass genocide of a species, this war will be no different!" as he said this, he turned his eyes to the Triarian, referencing the draconian genocide after/during the last major war.
Yes I did offer stuff to you, Wilson. I am not changing them either because that's what I've given to every race I've met. It's what the haches give. The gold's just shiny, nothing else, while the flora is actually attractive and beautiful. If I give anything different it would be a bit of a cheat because I know you discussed a "proper first contact" before.
Hadn't realized they were present.....my bad. I'm loosely reading this all.

Edit: Post edited to fit the Federation. It's lazy, but yeah....

"Then find a solution that will either be beneficial for both parties, not beneficial for both, or neutral grounded." said Ambassador Kalihary.

Before the meeting had started, a diplomat was ordered to provide gifts to the unknown creatures. He walked up to them slowly, head bowed, showing ten bars of gold and rare hach flora sealed into a delicate, beautiful pot slapped across his back. As he neared them, he placed the pot onto the ground, still holding the bars.

"Please accept these gifts of welcoming" he said. He waited til the gifts were gone before he stood upright once more.

Other diplomats/representatives handed the same gifts to the Federation races that they had never seen before as well.
