I did a stint with Gunlances for a while, but I find that I'm too reliant on my shield. I like being defensive, really, but I also like something that gave me a good amount of speed. And getting Speed+Defense doesn't seem to be a common thing, I had to settle for just speed and power. I'm actually hoping that the Charge Axe gets me that good mix of mobility with tanking ability that I've been hungering for.

Go to YouTubes and look for Icemannoob's tutorial on the Charge Axe. Very informative and insightful on how the new weapon operates. Plus, if you watch it, you'll get an idea of how Kuhaku fights. xD;

Apparently, I'll be partnering up with either Sauron's future CS or Lucius' Gren.

I never said the SwAx was slow, just not many options for blocking/defending/evading. I hacked apart many a monster in record times with my SwAxes. Right now, I'm stuck against Lucent Nargacuga at HR 30+.

Glad to see there are Monster Hunter fans in here. I'm super excited for Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate and the Monster Hunter Online MMO. Can't wait for them to get localized.

I didn't like how the Switch Axe didn't have a block or better evade, but then again I'm guessing it was designed as a purely offensive weapon. The newer Charge Axe seems to be a bit more balanced as far as defense goes, though they removed my favorite 'Explosive Chainsaw' attack from the older Switch Axe.

That cannibalism bit was just my form of OOC humor. Nothing I say in the OOC guarantees what happens or what is true with my character in the IC. Anyways, I'm just waiting for a good chance to get Gren involved, because as it stands I'm waiting for either Alice to respond as Serara towards Priscilla, or for Lowkey's Yael to do a collab with me. And in the event that neither occurs, I'm making sure I'm keeping all options open. I have no issues with personal partners or team make up. I make shit work, one way or another.As for helping you fix your writing, I can't say that I'm the best person for it. I too put in lots of commas when I write often for no discernible reason. I write the same way I speak, which is to say not always correctly and with lots of pauses, thus commas or ellipses.

Then sure, we can partner up for now and see how things work out. Maybe the fact that the two of them are both Faunus' will help ease the transition. I'm on nearly every day so I'm at least active.

It's my favorite weapon to use in MH. Second is the Great Sword. Do keep in mind, Kuhaku's weapon comes with some RWBY twists and hidden functionalities.

Also, yes, I do need a partner, but I think Kuhaku will have issues with Gren. For one, didn't you previously mention something about 'cannibalism' in past posts? That wouldn't sit well with him. Secondly, I believe Sauron's future CS is lined up to be my partner but it seems he won't be able to join for some time due to IRL issues/business. But, we can form a team in the future so if you're fine with Tiger-Boy, I'd be down for a partnership.
