...Do you guys wanna pick your own leaders, or do you want me to do it?

Which do you think would be easiest on your mind and nerves?
@Lugubrious - How do I go about adding the Emblem to my CS? I'm having some issues figuring this out.
Kuhaku's vision continued to adjust to the levels of darkness. Slowly scanning the area in front of him, his ears were picking up odd noises from within the dark. But, before he could fully focus and make out the source of the noises...

"Kuhaku, I'm over here!" Gren called out to him.
Immediately pin-pointing his partner, his eyes and ears snapped to the side and he turned his head to smile and wave at him, his tail swaying from side to side excitedly.
"Hey! Glad to see you made it alright!" he laughed, his voice echoing.

Suddenly, the room responded to their voices with a loud, buzzing and his laughter died out quickly. Carefully lowering his waving arm and turning his head towards where he first heard the odd noises, he quickly realized what exactly had been making them. Machines, and they weren't normal exploratory or excavating machines from the look of them. They were old and rusty, their joints creaking loudly as they moved. His expression changed and darkened, turning serious. As a bead of sweat slowly rolled down the side of his face, he dryly swallowed. "Perfect", Kuhaku thought to himself. "Machines." Reaching behind his back, he equipped Perun (His axe-shield) and Kladenets (His charge-blade) preparing for potential combat.

"Kuhaku, does your illusions work on machines?" Gren asked as he brandished his own weapon.
"No, they don't!" Responded Kuhaku. Then, an idea struck him.

"But my illusions can still work on us! I can use my Semblance and give us both a temporary boost in our abilities! Just say the word and I'll use my powers. But when you want me to use it, I need you focus on looking directly at me and don't cover your ears! The echo that's in this room might make it a bit painful at first, but once my Semblance takes hold, you'll be good to go until the fight's over with!"

As he spoke to Gren, he kept his eyes focused on the machines. Gradually, his black stripes became visible on his ears and tail as he prepared to use his Semblance. Slowing his breathing, he inhaled and exhaled deeply. Warming up his lungs as he refilled and emptied them of air.
Well, if no one steps up to the plate to take the leadership mantle, Kuhaku would be fine in that position.

How is this?

That looks great, I'll add it to my CS as soon as I find the time to.
@Lugubrious, a tiger head with flaming eyes sounds wonderful.
@Itano, you read Kenkou Cross' Monster Girls Encyclopedia?

@Irish/Lucius - I have no objections towards teaming with Abel/Bridget, I had a feeling it was going that way anyways.

@WhoeverIsTheEmblemMaker(*Lugubrious?) - I would love a flaming White Tiger emblem for Kuhaku. Maybe with glowing sky-blue eyes?
"Illusions huh? Interesting. I'd certainly like to see that in action." Gren commented.

Just as Kuhaku took a breath and was about to speak, his words died in his throat and were lost as the boxcar was drowned in sudden darkness. The train they were stowing-away on had just entered a tunnel. As Gren got to his feet, Kuhaku did the same. His tail swaying restlessly from side to side and his brow furrowed.

"Damn. I didn't expect the train to go through a tunnel. We should leave before we stray too far from the testing grounds."

As Gren approached the open side of the boxcar, Kuhaku did the same and peered out with him. Kuhaku turned his head to look at Gren and nodded in agreement, "Yeah, agreed!"

"We'll have to jump. This also looks like a good place where one of the artifacts might be at, given that it's so out of the way. See you on the otherside!" Gren shouted as he jumped out.

As Gren jumped, Kuhaku briefly reached out for him, taken by surprise from his sudden action. "W-wait! Hold on!" he called out to Gren, not entirely sure if he had heard him.

Frowning, he took a couple steps back from the opening in the boxcar and took a few, quick, deep breaths. With a running start, he also leapt from the train. As he landed next to Gren, he did a roll and came to a skidding stop in the dirt, kicking up a cloud of dust. Blinking through the dust he disturbed, he slowly stood and waved at the air to clear it away. Looking around, his eyes adjusted and he suddenly realized that it was much darker than he had expected. With his pupils narrowing into thin, vertical slits and his irises giving off a slight copper/bronze glow, he was glad he had good night vision.

...Well, I guess so. I'll bump the interest check tomorrow, hopefully get a partner for you.

Also, I got a friend who used to RP with me into RWBY and she's all caught up in the series. She could be joining so she can be a potential partner match for someone.
-Sighs- My classes are tiresome, I'll be posting soon Lucius. Don't expect anything lengthy though.

P.S. - I love Monster Girls Encyclopedia.
