5'11 and 175 lbs? Skinny? HA.Same height, 145 lbs. SUCKA.

-Shrugs- 30 more pounds of muscle then, I guess.
I guess I'm just relatively skinny when compared to my other co-workers and Americans.
You guys fuckin' crack me up with your wackiness.

Well, average height for an 18 year old male is 5'9.5" and weight is 150 pounds. Kuhaku is six feet tall and 180 at only 17 years of age. I'd call that pretty big.

I'm 23 at 5'11, 175 Ibs and I don't think I'm very big at all...

Just tall and very skinny.

Well, he's pretty big, he's got great agility as well as good strength and durability. He can cause enemies to hallucinate or go deaf from their own effort noises while mitigating his own pain at the same time--and that's if he's not invisible. He wields a sword and shield when playing defensively and a huge axe when going in for the kill.Honestly I'd have to say he's a little overpowered. But honestly I think that's kinda the point of RWBY characters. Everyone is strong, fast, and can take punishment. To specialize in a role (like bruiser), you have to amp up the implausibility to almost insane levels, like Yang lifting a massive stereo speaker easily or demolishing a damaged mech with with one punch. Thing is, since Kuhaku isn't specialized (self-proclaimed jack of all trades) he's good at everything. His biggest weakness isn't his powers; it's himself, mainly the fact that he received the damage ignored after using his semblance and that he is somewhat reckless.Let me know if I am wrong.

Pretty much nailed it, but it's a bit uncomfortable to read. A tough pill to swallow, if you will. Most of his weaknesses/vulnerabilities come from his heavy reliance on his weaponry and Semblance. His most powerful Ace (*His Semblance) actually has bigger repercussions than you'd think, which you'll witness in due time. That and yes, he probably is his own worse enemy. Remove him from his weapons and he won't have much else to go on because he can't use his Aura offensively/defensively yet.

I misunderstand what you mean by saying he's 'pretty big' though. Care to explain that a little more?

It's entirely possible I made Bridgett underpowered, but getting your person hurt is more a writing thing, and a personal willingness to see your creation get destroyed, something that not everyone can do, so they will write it so their person never gets injured.

Part Kuhaku from his shield and he won't last long. He has endurance and sturdiness, but he's not very physically strong compared to other characters in the RWBY universe/RP. If someone has the skill to do it, they could give Kuhaku a beating. With my love for emotionally/mentally/psychologically damaged characters, I have no issue seeing Kuhaku get destroyed by the right opponent.

Partially that, mostly the fact that she is most definitely not overpowered and proceeded to receive a royal beating during this whole thing.

Makes me wonder if Kuhaku's a bit overpowered. I tried making him as balanced as I could in my mind...

I need constructive criticism on him now. ;_; -Self conscious-

Tai was the only person on his team to not get seriously injured in some way. I'm not sure if it's just because all the bad luck naturally gravitated to other people, or because his defensive Aura is just that good.

I get the feeling that luck had a heavy part to play in your Edgar battle. Speaking of which....did that Mech even have a freakin' name?
