Heh, gotta say I love the awkwardness between Shiro and Sapphire, it's highly amusing to read.
Agent B52
'TIS MY INTENTION!
"Yeah I know," she replied in response to him introducing himself. "So, she really does know me," he maintained eye contact, though he was slightly confused as to how she knew him. "You already introduced yourself. What happened, too much catnip?" Slowly, his expression deteriorated to one that resembled heartbreak. He didn't quite understand the 'catnip' remark, but his worst fears were confirmed. "Sapphire Rode." she said her name was. "I don't remember her." She rejected his handshake. Slowly, his ears flattened on top of his head. His tail lazily swept the ground at his feet. Of course she would reject his odd handshake. He had already offered it before, apparently. Awkwardly, he lowered his bandaged arm and gave a half-hearted chuckle. His cheeks slightly reddened at the rather embarrassing situation he somehow put himself into. Mimicking her, he half-hid his arms at his side. Though, it was rather pointless since his arms from the elbow down were swathed in white cloth bandages and anyone could clearly see them. Thinking about it, he did rather stumble over his words and fumble around. He probably caused her to feel uncomfortable and just as awkward as he was feeling right now. Whatever happened to her, it was obviously a sensitive matter that he had no business nosing into. He felt rather stupid, to be honest. He at least took comfort in the fact that she was alright. At least, outwardly. Maybe that was what he was committed to the infirmary for, scrambled brains. A high-pitched buzzing sound whined in his ears, a sound that only he could hear. Shaking his head, his ears twitched as if trying to throw the sound out of his eardrums. His head started to hurt. His heart ached. Familiar hairline cracks and fractures in the foundation of his very soul began to reopen. He knew what this all meant. She had known him prior. Whatever happened between them, he pushed it too far with his Semblance. Paying the price of his strength, his Semblance took his memory as compensation. Another precious memory of his lost and erased. How many memories had his Semblance stolen from him at this point in his life? Not one to mope around for long, he smacked himself around in his mind. Patching up the cracks, he rebounded. "Recover!" he willed himself. "Right, it's a pleasure to meet you!" he gave her a bright, toothy smile. "A-again, that is. Heh.." he corrected himself, scratching the back of his head. "Uh...Well, anyways. Glad to see that you're..okay. Might I ask how you came to know me? And what exactly did you mean by us having missed 'the ceremony'? What ceremony?" Thinking some more about it, this girl seemed to not have a favorable impression of him. Maybe he wronged her in his most recent 'lost memory'. Not one to leave bad blood and bad atmosphere, he quickly added. "Oh, and if I happened to have wronged you before, I apologize. For whatever it was that I did or didn't do to you. You seem to be rather grumpy at me," he laughed and scratched the top of his head. He playfully stuck his tongue out a bit, smiling. He figured he was also being a bit annoying, so he decided to apologize for that too. "I'm sorry."
Kuhaku waited, hearing a groan. He worried about the lack of an immediate response. Maybe he should peek in to see if everything was alright. Just as he started to lean in a little more, he heard the sound of approaching footsteps as the curtains were thrown open rather forcefully. Startled from the sudden event, he took a step or two back and put up his paws, crouching slightly. Why he took a combative stance, he didn't fully understand. He was there to check on the well-being of someone else, not to fight. They were back at Beacon after all, they should all be allies here. Safe and sound, for the most part. Chuckling nervously, he straightened up and scratched the back of his head. A nervous tic of his. Looking at the girl with shockingly bright blue hair, he caught sight of her red and puffy eyes. She was definitely the one he heard crying. From her eyes, he glanced at her arms and saw the scars that lined them. Seeing them made him touch at his bandaged arms. He really wanted his elbow-length gloves back. "Brilliant," the lady said in a condescending and slightly bored tone, "Of all the infirmaries of all the schools in all the world and you had to be assigned to mine. Hope your happy fuzzball, we missed the ceremony cause of you." "Fuzzball? Well, that's a little unnecessary." He frowned at that remark. He'd heard worse 'insults', if you could even call it that. But, he quickly shook off the comment and brightly smiled. She seemed to recognize and know him. His tail swayed energetically behind him. Though, she seemed to have a negative impression of him. Did he mess up or something? "Oh, good. You're okay. I was sleeping and heard a bunch of noise. I was worried someone might've had an accident and gotten hurt." He glanced at her arms and then looked her directly in the eyes. "Oh, well...I said you're okay but you might not actually be. I...guess I should've asked if you were, haha...Uhm...Are you? I heard crying earlier and your eyes..." He stopped, not finishing his words. He figured if she were crying, she wouldn't be comfortable discussing why to a complete stranger. She probably just had a nightmare or something about her father. He waved his words away with a bandaged hand, "Ah, never mind. You're not badly hurt or anything, are you? Just wanted to make sure you didn't fall out of your bed or something like that. Oh, and sorry about earlier. It's an instinctive habit of mine." he said, referencing his combative stance whenever she threw open the curtains. He blinked, forgetting something. "Oh, I'm sorry. Where are my manners? I'm Kuhaku Shiro. Nice to meet you. Should've introduced myself first." He grinned at her, presenting his hand for her to shake. "And you are?" "Wait a minute. What ceremony? He would have to ask later after friendly formalities.
"Dad, no, please. DAD! DAD!" a female voice shouted, grabbing Kuhaku from his dream and jerking him back to reality. Eyes slowly opening, his white ears twitched and swiveled searching for the source of the shouting that woke him up. Carefully, he sat up in his hospital bed. Rubbing his eyes, he yawned. Looking at his hands, he sat there in silence wondering if he just imagined the shouting. How long had he been sleeping for? "NO!" the same voice from earlier screamed, startling Kuhaku and making him jump. He definitely didn't imagine the voice. There was a ruckus, a short commotion. Was someone hurt? What was going on? Remaining still, he listened carefully. Someone was crying. Looking at the medical equipment he was connected to, he moved quickly. He pulled out the IV drip, removed the oxygen mask from his face, the heart rate monitor, and anything else he was attached to. As the heart rate monitor flatlined and droned on after being disconnected from him, he pulled it closer and switched it off. Grabbing onto the sides of the medical bed, he swung his legs from underneath the blankets and stood. Wincing, his muscles ached and his bones groaned at him. But, he was okay. More importantly, someone in the infirmary with him seemed to be in distress. Throwing open his privacy curtains, he used his hearing to pinpoint the source of the crying. As he stood in front of the patient's privacy curtain, he spoke up and announced himself. It was only polite. "H-...Hello? Hey, are you alright? Is everything okay in there? I heard some shouting and crying and I wanted to come check up on you. Is it alright if I come in?" He reached in and parted the curtains just ever so slightly, just enough to poke one white tiger ear in along with his tail. It was his odd way of showing who he was to test the waters incase it was someone who knew him or he knew.
Oi, Lugu. Should there be some sort of post order amongst the teams since we have so many players? Or does that not matter?
Being disoriented due to his sembalance could easily be one of the reasons that he was in the way as Sapphire was attempting to escape from the collapsing tunnel. I was unaware that this was a fight that had happened in the previous RP but since this is a reboot with different characters we don't have to do it the same way. If no one has any problems I'm going to go ahead and post based on the stuff I said above. We could also say that the tunnel was weakened severely by Gren and Kuhaku's attacks and Sapphire saw a chance to deal with the mech once and for all but the tunnel was so damaged that rather than just collapsing a ton of rock on the mech she destabilized the entire tunnel and Shiro screwed up her escape leading to both of them being caught by debris.
Prince of Seraphs
Yeah, a bit late but no objections. It's no biggie.
Alright so exactly what happened to my character? I'm in the hospital after our team destroyed one of the schools advanced combat machines. Do we have any preference on what happened? Just for conflicts sake I want to say that Sapphire was the one that destabilized the tunnel over the mech without relaying exactly what she was doing. As a consequence Shiro and Sapphire bumped into eachother rather violently screwing up Sapphire's exit strategy and leading to both of them being hit with debris. Anyone have an objections?
Prince of Seraphs
Originally, Kuhaku ended up in the hospital mostly because of his overuse of his Semblance during that fight. Also, I believe in the original fight Gren and Kuhaku brought down the tunnel with their explosive attacks. Though, I'm sure we can easily add/twist some things to include Sapphire in there and have additional injuries to Kuhaku on top of his Semblance's side effects.
Lol, are vices allowed on school campus? Like alcohol and tobacco usage? I can see Diamond getting into a bunch of trouble with the school's guards and faculty. "OI! NO SMOKING ON SCHOOL GROUNDS"! -Chases after-
