I'm pretty sure your character will be arguing with half the team.
Have my first post up. :D
Just as everyone was mingling about, a portal appeared by the food table and Warp stepped out of it as he ran his fingers through his pink hair.
"Oh thank god there's food. I'm staaaarving," he said as he grabbed a plate and started serving himself with no hesitation. Being an athlete required you to eat more calories than the average person. He didn't bother to introduce himself to anyone. Jayden just started stuffing his face, finding a small table near the food just in case he wanted seconds. It took him a few minutes to actually notice everyone else when he wasn't too busy eating. Jayden almost choked on his food when he noticed everyone's atrocious, color clashing costumes. "Oh my god someone call fashion police. This is so tragic," he said with his mouth full of pizza. These guys were worse than fanboys at a comic con convention in these costumes.
After letting his food settle, he went back for seconds while looking around to see if he recognized anyone. The only people he really knew were the ones that organized this whole thing. The entire time Warp spent with Zenith and Pariah, they never mentioned anything about starting a League. Must have been confidential. At this point, those two were the only ones he trusted. After what he's been through, it was hard to trust anyone. Jayden learned that letting your guard down means having your face on the front page of every magazine and newspaper in the world. Zenith and Pariah overlooked the fact about who his family was and accepted who he was and he was grateful for that. All the more reason to join this team of theirs.
It didn't take long for a few people to approach him and go on about how they loved him on the Olympics and that they didn't know he was a metahuman. Funny thing is, people knew him more as an Olympian and not a hero. Which is how he wanted it to stay. He made sure his hero identity was secret and that no one could track him, especially his crooked family. Before one of the heroes who were talking to him left, Warp pulled her aside immediately. "One second, honey." Warp conjured a portal that went straight to his closet that resided in his penthouse apartment in Atlantic City. He went in the portal about halfway and pulled out a few items, came out of it and closed it. "Here," he said giving the items to the hero. "Add these to your costume. You're clashing and its not cute." He smiled, turned her around and sent her away.

Warp can teleport large masses, including sizable groups of people. He can also use his powers in a destructive manner by teleporting only parts of objects. He can open portals that displace projectiles and even enemies that threaten him. His effective range is to the moon and back. Also, Warp can manifest the energy for his portals in the form of stars, disks, short javelins, and spears which causes their targets to teleport away. He uses this power offensively and defensively. Warp’s portals have an ambient, distorted pink energy around them and you are able to see your destination like a window before going through.

Peak Human Condition – Warp has the body of an Olympic athlete. Being a trained gymnast since the age of 5, his strength, speed, stamina, agility, reflexes, durability, balance, and flexibility are greatly heightened, but without any superhuman degree.
Expert Marksman – Warp has learned to throw his energy based weapons with heightened accuracy, rarely missing his target.
Hand-to-Hand Combat – Being a gymnast, combat comes natural to Warp as his fighting style is similar to something like Capoeira. Not exactly expert level, but Warp’s speed makes him a challenge in battle.
Advanced Intelligence – Warp isn’t superhuman smart, but his intelligence ranges in the top ten percent for the average human. He can learn to adapt to situations and is a quick learner to everything from advanced technology to unclogging a toilet.
Equipment/Resources:
Warp’s costume is flame proof and bullet resistant. He can easily move around it in and works well for his flexibility. Something like this he didn’t just purchase, but stole from his Uncle’s collection.
Warp doesn’t have any weapons, but uses ability to create energy based ones to use in combat situations.
Even though he has no part of the crimes his family does, he knows they would do anything for him as Italians are big on families and supporting each other despite their differences.

Warp has almost been a victim of his own powers by accidentally splicing himself which can happen if control isn’t focused. Being a portal teleporter has more disadvantages than an instant teleporter. With portals, others can see where you’re coming from or will notice your portal before you step out. With an instant teleporter, no one knows when they will appear. Warp has to rely on his speed so his enemies won’t notice his portals appear and catch him mid attack. Warp also has to have seen the area he wants to teleport to. He can’t teleport somewhere he has no knowledge of. Often times when he has to teleport out of state or country, he’ll have to look at a picture of the place he has to go to first to get a visual if he hasn’t been there. His portals also have to be somewhat adjacent to gravity. Meaning he can’t go through a portal in the floor and come out through a perpendicular wall. Splicing could occur. He would have to create a portal on the floor that would open up in the ceiling to match his movement.

Jayden is portrayed as being optimistic, comical, charismatic, flamboyant, and kind hearted. He often ignores other people's advice and does things his own way, which usually results in the outcome being better than predicted. He is kind and cares for those he loves. Though some people underestimate his toughness, but he's not afraid to stand up to anyone who mocks him. If you want to share your clothes and trade fashion/makeup tips with, Jayden is your guy. It wasn't until he was older that he understood what went on. He constantly had to move around from home to home because staying in one place for too long could get his family caught and split up from the law and social services. Jayden and his mom never took part in the activities, but his father did along with his uncle who was head of their family mafia. Even though Jayden's mother wasn't too fond of her husband's illegal affairs, she felt she was trapped, fearing she would be killed if she left the family. To keep Jayden away from his family's affairs, she enrolled him in gymnastics at the age of 5.
Growing up, gymnastics was Jayden's life and his mom made sure it stayed that way. He would spend countless hours with his coaches training and disciplining his body. It was hard to make a balance between gym time, school, and friends but Jayden managed to make it work. Jayden's mother made sure that the Gambino crime family couldn't be traced back to Jayden while training. With his hard work paying off, Jayden was chosen to be in the 2008 Beijing Olympics for male gymnastics at the age of 14. Taking home gold medals, he became an instant celebrity as being one of the youngest male gymnasts to receive a gold medal in a long time. Even though the majority of the responses were supportive, others were not. He started receiving death threats, even from members of his own family. Not wanting to put his family in danger, he decided to move out immediately after having an ugly spat about his sexuality with his parents. As things couldn't get any worse, the Awakening happened a year later.
