Emmett felt happy she accepeted his offer. It only took less than fifteen minutes to get to the auto shop. He parked his jeep on the side and directed Shayn to park hers in front. When they were both parked, he asked her to pop open the trunk so he could take out the flat tire. After checking for the size and brand she needed, she carried in the garage. "Mark?" Emmett called out, peeking from a office was was a older man, but still in shape. His hair was sandy blonde, with a mustache to match and bushy eyebrows. "Ah, Mr. Cullen, what can I do for you?" The man named Mark asked. He obviously worked here by his blue overalls and dirty name tag. "We just need to buy a new tire for her." Emmett said, handing off the flattened tire to Mark. "Ah, Emmett, your strength never ceases to amaze me." He said, obviously having difficulty with the tire as he took it from him and sat it down. Emmett told him the description of the tire they needed. "Ah, I got one of those." He said, going into a different room.

A few minutes later, Mark came out with the new tire, rolling it with him. "Is this is?" He asked Emmett. Nodding, Mark rang her up. "Let me." Emmett offered, handing the money over to Mark. When they were done checking out, Emmett replaced the spare with her new tire. "There. Good as new." He said, putting all of her tools back in the car. "Now, the dinner? It's just around the corner. One thing I do like about Forks is everything is bunched together. You save a lot of gas." He joked with an amusing laugh.

"Well, I'm lucky I ran into you." She said as they headed back to her house. Her aunt was at work, so there was no one home. "You could've very well just saved my life." Riley said, grinning up at him. Walking beside him down the path she took just felt to, right. Talking to him just felt so right. When he mentioned showing her a better place to run, her face lit up. "Intense is always better. I'd love to see." She said, grinning up at him. She was taken by surprise when he took her bag from her and carried it. "Why, how did I get so lucky to have run into a bodyguard AND a gentleman? It must truly be my lucky day." She said, playfully nudging him.

She felt a blush creep up on her cheeks when he mentioned she looked fine. "Thank you, but I'll feel better if I just splashed some water on my face, let my hair down, and changed into something... warmer." She said, laughing. She wasn't use to the cool weather, it was pretty much always warm in Florida so over half of her wardrobe consisted of shorts, tanks, dresses. and sandals. When she moved down here, using some of her birthday money from over the years, she had to buy clothes more suitable for fall and winter weather.

When they got to her house, she opened the door and invited Jacob in. She then went upstairs, washed her face, let her hair down so it fell in waves over her shoulders, brushed her teeth, and changed into a pair of light colored jeans that hugged at her hips, black boots with studded heels, and a white long sleeve shirt that was cut off in the front and longer in the back, baring some of her tummy. She didn't wear make-up except for special occasions, so she put on some lip gloss and headed downstairs. Record time- only ten minutes she spent.

"I feel much better." She said, grabbing her black jacket. "I'll drive, my cars outside." She said, getting the keys to her Ford truck.
Hehe, I love it! I replied! (:

I like Cassie, I can see Klaus and her together. They need a character like her on the show Originals, specifically for him.

Oh, and I read somewhere Elena may leave The Vampire Diaries and go to The Originals! D:
Anya felt the wave of emotions cease, everything died back down and returned to normal. "A witch..." She said softly, looking down at the ground. "That can't be, witches don't exist." She said, shaking her head. She suddenly felt drained and very tired. "I don't need protection.. I've got to go." She said, going to leave, but stopped, leaning against the chair to support herself. "Why do they want with me? I didn't do anything to them.. at least, I don't think I did..." She said softly. She went to sit on the couch when she started to feel dizzy.

She shook her head. "No, I want to know everything, now." She said, but didn't have the energy to sit up anymore, so instead and laid down on the couch. "This is just a nightmare, right? I'm just dreaming." She said. Deep down, Anya knew that wasn't true, but she had to believe it was. Her mom couldn't be dead, she just couldn't be. She couldn't be a witch, they didn't exist, and why were there people after her? Why did Damon need to 'protect' her? What secrets did New Orleans hold? All these questions floating through her head was enough to make her head want to explode. She closed her eyes for a brief second before giving in to sleep.

Klaus narrowed his eyes at her. Now he remembered. She had Elijah's blood in her, but it was Klaus who finished it off, so many years ago. "How long have you known?" He asked, not taking his eyes off her, even when Marcel made his way to them. "Such a shame they won't, though. Not with Marcel's rule laid down. The witches respect that because they respect him." Klaus said. He hated defending Marcel, but like they always say "keep your friends close, and your enemies closer", which was exactly what he was doing. Marcel and him use to be so close many years ago, after all it was Klaus who turned him and took him under his wing. When he found out about Rebekah and Marcel, that was when he was done. He left him behind when New Orleans was burning to the ground, and Klaus thought he died, along with the town, but instead he was very much alive, and was rebuilding it. His town. Klaus' town that belonged to his family.

"Don't worry about the witch girl.. we'll take care of her, you can count on that." Klaus said, drinking on some scotch. When she left, Klaus turned to Marcel. "I told you I didn't trust her." Klaus said with a "I-Told-You-So" look on his face. "Yeah, yeah. We need to find that girl, and find her quick. I can't lose order of my people because of one witch girl." Marcel said, glaring over at the door. "Me and my boys can handle the witch girl- I need you to keep an eye on Cassie." Marcel said. Klaus rolled his eyes. "So I'm playing babysitter?" He said. finishing off his scotch. Marcel chuckled. "You're my best man." He said before leaving, Klaus watching him as he did so.

Getting up, he grabbed his jacket, a nearby brunette who he compelled to go home with him, and a bottle of scotch from behind the counter.
"Ah, Forks, I imagine, is nothing compared to London, but it has its moments." He said with shrug. "I love your accent though, its beautiful." He said. Just like you, he thought to himself. When he thanked him, he smiled. "Don't worry about it, no problem at all. I've had to help people in much worse situations, changing a tire is nothing, really." Emmett said casually. When she asked if he was a mechanic, Emmett shook his head laughing. "No, I just know my way around a car." He said. He watched as she spoke, all of her body movements, her facial expressions, he just observed everything about this beautiful woman.

"I love your name, its unique. You don't meet a lot of Shayn's here. You don't meet a lot of Emmett's too." He said with a thoughtful expression on his face. "There is actually a auto store in town, they sell tires and pretty much anything anything else you need for your vehicle. If they don't have it, you can order it online." Emmett said. "I can show you? You can just follow me to town and there. Maybe I can take you out to eat afterwards?" Emmett said. He despised human food, but to hide what he really was he would force it down.

"Its beautiful. I miss it, but.. some things happened with my family, so I moved down here to live with my aunt." She smiled and nodded. "I guess every place does, doesn't it?" SHe asked, shrugging. She nodded when he gave her the warning. "My aunt told me.. and about all those murders and bear sightings from a couple years ago. I should say the same to you, Jacob Black." She said, smiling his way. "Well... just to be sure, you know I don't get tore apart, maybe you should walk me home? Or maybe to grab some coffee?" She asked him, smiling.

She was hoping he'd say yes. "I just want to change first, though. I'm all sweaty and.. well like I've been running all day, which I have." She said, laughing. She took a sip of water, pouring a little bit on her face to cool down. She replaced the lid and put up her headphones in her bag.
Me too. (:

I'm having fun with Anya not knowing she's this super powerful witch thing! (:

I can't wait to get more into it and have a showdown between her and Devina!
Anya was still in complete shock at everything that happened. Broken glass everywhere, people pouring out of the bar, her injured arm, and most of all... her mother's death. She didn't protest when Damon scooped her up and flashed away. Flashed? She was really confused. When he set her down, she just stared at him. "I'm fine..." She whispered, ignoring the small pain in her arm. "What the hell was that.. Did you do that? Break all those windows? Are you like.. telepathic or whatever its called where you control things with your mind?" She asked, a little alarmed. "No. I'm not okay. I'm not calm. I just found out my mother died.. who can be calm after news like that?" She asked, her voice raising slightly. Those same flood of emotions came flooding back.

The sky started to darken and thunder rumbled in the distance. The wind picked up its speed and the leaves on the trees rustled, falling out and swirling around them. "What's going on... Am I doing this?" She asked, tears streaming down her face. She couldn't stop, the emotions wouldn't stop. They were hitting her like a bulldozer. How was she doing this, if she was even doing it? Or was it someone else? Was Damon doing this? Was he a witch or something? She fell to her knees, burying her head in her hands. The wind just picked up more, and the more upset she seemed to get, the worse everything around them got.

The events in front of him happened quickly. The young witch he had spoken to earlier was in complete shock, could it be possible she didn't know the powers she possessed? When Damon had scooped her up and flashed away, Klaus turned back to go inside, stepping on glass as he did so. "True, brother. That doesn't meant I can trust her, though." Klaus smirked. He was still trying to remember where he saw the girl from, something about her seemed real familiar. "Have we met her? Cassie? In a past life? I can't shake off the dreadful feeling that I've met her before. Somewhere." Klaus said, watching as Cassie poured herself a drink.

"Why don't you go ask her, Niklaus? Even if I knew, it's not my business to say. I'm going to go check on Hayley, to see if she knows of this new witch." Elijah said. Klaus nodded as his brother disappeared. He was about to approach Cassie before Marcel stopped him. "What the hell was that?" He asked Klaus, one hand on his chest. "Now, how should I know?" He asked. "Because I saw you speaking with her. Did you know she was a witch? She broke a rule." Marcel said. "I said hi, but that's it. Are you sure you want to go after her? It seems she possess stronger powers, maybe even stronger then Devina." Klaus said. This rendered Marcel speechless. Klaus seized the opportunity to push past and approach Cassie.

"Let's cut the bullshit, love. I know you know me from somewhere, but problem is, I'm not sure where I know you from- I'm sure I'd never forget a pretty face like yours." He said, and let his eyes travel. "Or any part of you of that matter."
[I just saw this!! Sorry!!]

Emmett smiled when she got out of the car. She was beautiful. When he asked if he knew cars, he nodded. "Of course, what guy doesn't?" He joked. When she opened the trunk, he easily took our the tire without effort and leaned it against the car where the flat was. He found a jack which he used to jack up the car. He noticed her English accent and looked her way while jacking the car up. "British? Did you move from London? I been there a couple of times. Beautiful place." He commented. When he had the car jacked up, he took some other tools to take the tire off, changing it easily. When the new tire was on, he lowered the car and put the flat tire and all her tools back in the trunk, without breaking a sweat.

"Not any good mechanics. I'll probably be the best you'll get." Emmett said, flashing her a dazzling smile. "I'm Emmett. Emmett Cullen." He said, offering her his hand. Humans did this friendly gesture often, a handshake. "Is there anything else I can help you with?" He asked. He felt himself drawn to her, which was odd, he hadn't felt this way at all, or this happy, since Rosalie left him. This whole time he hadn't even thought of her.

Riley smiled when she took his hand, but was taken by shock when an unfamiliar feeling coursed through her. It was warm, and she felt like she had butterflies. She had never felt this way before, ever, and she had boyfriends and relations with guys, but this feeling it was.. unfamiliar. She was relieved when he decided to changed the subject. "Um, no. I'm actually from Florida. I live in Forks thought with my aunt." She said, smiling shyly. "I'm not sure where La Push is, I hadn't really ventured out from Forks, except for my run. Which I'm doing now." She said, looking at him.

His smile was enough to bring her to her knees, but his laugh did it. "Uhm.. this... this place is beautiful." She stammered. Why was she acting so weird around him?
Okay. (: I'll up awhile.
That's fine, I just finished.
Anya looked up when he answered and smiled when she saw him. Waving back, she hung the phone up and tossed it in the passenger seat, getting out to meet him. "Well, I guess its just fate." She joked, smiling at him. "Actually, my car won't start. I was wondering if you could give me a lift until I can get it to the shop tomorrow morning? Its ancient, probably older then us, and I am not good with mechanic related things." She said with a whimsical laugh. "I can give you some money for gas, its really not that far from here, maybe twenty minutes." She said, looking at him hopefully. The ringing of her phone brought her back to reality. "Excuse me." She said, reaching in the passenger window to grab her phone. She saw it was her mom who was calling so she answered. "Mom, hey, I can't talk now I'm bu-" "Miss Kingston, this is Officer Wilden calling, I found your number in your moms contact list. I'm calling to regretfully inform you we found your moms body. Her neck was ripped out and by the time our officers got here, it was too late. We need you to come identify her body, and get funeral arrangements," The news was a complete shock to Anya.

Dropping her phone, she felt the familiar flood of emotions coursing through her. Closing her eyes, she tried to control it, but couldn't. All the car windows and the windows to the bar shattered, glass flying everywhere. She felt a piece from her own car window cut her arm, but she didn't pay attention to that. Opening her eyes, she saw the damage she had done. Did she do this? On the phone she heard the officer repeating her name. Picking it up, she confirmed with him she'd be there and hung up. She turned to face Damon with a tear stained face. "Um.. sorry, that was about my mom..." She said softly. She stopped there and looked around at the damage she had done.

"Ah, you're right, love. I'm Marcel's first mate, so I have to make sure everyone checks out." He said, giving her a dazzling smile. Klaus watched as the brunette walked off before turning to Marcel. "I don't know if I trust her." He said, speaking in a low tone. "I'm not sure if I do, either, but we should give her a chance. She could be a good asset to New Orleans." Marcel stated, looking from Klaus to Cassie. "I'm just saying we shouldn't let our guard down around here, what do we really know about this girl?" He spat, his anger getting the best of him.

"Patience, Klaus. Patience. I've dealt with much worse." Marcel said, being sure to keep his voice low. "We'll continue this later, for now, I've got a welcoming party to plan. With our new witch and new vampires." He said, standing up. He was taken off guard when the windows in the whole bar shattered. There was only one person he knew who could do that. Devina. Klaus noticed the look on his face. "What was that?' Klaus asked, standing up. "We're about to find out.." The two walked out and Klaus noticed the young bartender standing with Damon. "A witch... and a powerful one at that." Klaus said.
