Klaus stood back and watched the show. He raised his brow when Cassie snapped his neck, it'd only be a matter of time before he changed into a thirsty new vampire. He watched her curiously as she drew a symbol on a piece of napkin, leaving with his body. "Hm." He said curiously as he looked around with her. "You mean business, don't you?" He said, humor dancing in his eyes as he turned towards her. He listened as he explained and he couldn't help but laugh. "Marcel will not let that happen, besides there is another witch, very strong, though I must admit that one from last night, well, I've never seen anything like here, not in my many, many years of being around, but this witch he keeps, she's on his side. She'll do what she can to protect him." Klaus said in a warning tone. "She can take even me out swiftly." He said, shaking his head.

"I sure hope you know what you are getting yourself into, Cassie. You could very well be starting World War III." He joked, opening the door to allow her out. He got into the car, and looked back over at her. "I agree though, the less power Marcel has in the quarter, well the easier he'll be to take down- I want my city back, and he's standing in the way." Klaus said, staring straight ahead.

. . .

"I'm fine." She snapped. She remained in the front seat. She held her hand out a concentrated. She almost screamed in delight when a small flame appeared in her hand. She close it tightly, then opened it back up to reveal the flame once more. She was beaming to herself. Glancing around for Damon, she got out of the car and used both hands, producing a flame in each one. She really was a witch- and with the help of someone who could actually help her, then she can keep it under control. There had to be a way to control these emotions, right? She wanted to tell Damon right now and apologize, so she turned on her heels, but stopped. Two black cars pulled up and out of each car, four people came out. All were heavily guarded and each one carried a wooden stake. "No..." Anya whispered.

Without thinking, she ran into the gas station. "Damon, watch out!" She screamed. Two of the figures dressed in black turned towards her, glaring. The others headed towards Damon, stakes out, all in attack mode.
I replied!

She's good- 2 years now D: She just hasn't been sleeping worth anything lately- she won't go to bed until after 11 pm [my time] and she refuses to take a nap during the day. It prevents me from sleeping and we're expecting another and I'm tired allllll the time myself. But the site keeps me awake and occupied, so that's good.
Klaus wasn't happy about tagging along and not knowing what he was getting into, but we sat back and watched intently, guard up. There were a few hunters around them, and then the leader. He watched Cassie as the two spoke, then leaned in his seat, fangs out, when the leader splashed vervain water on Cassie, but Klaus was surprised to see it didn't phase her in the slightest. What was this girl? He watched amusingly as she lost her temper and killed every hunter in the room. He had to admit- she was one hell of a fighter. Standing up, Klaus looked around admiring her work. He whistled through his teeth, looking towards her as she held the hunter leader down, forcing him tor drink her blood.

"Nice work." He said, walking back to the two. "Ah, now couldn't you have just drained the vervain out of his system, then compel him?" He asked, clearly amused at this whole situation. Sighing, Klaus bent down to look the hunter square in the face. "Now really isn't the time to dip out on us, mate. Tell the young woman what she wants to know, and we'll be off. Over and done." Klaus said, waving his left hand in the air, eyes back on the hunter. "Doesn't sound hard, does it?" He asked with a smug look on his face.

Anya was surprised to hear Damon's voice, the first emotion she felt was relief, then anger, but she kept it in check. "No.." She said in a quite whisper, almost too quite. She glared at him at his next comment after he disposed of the body. "No wonder you had to leave home- did you act like a complete ass to everyone?" She said, tears of anger springing to her eyes bit she fought hard to control herself. "You are an ass- the biggest ass I know!" She said, practically screaming right now. "Don't worry- I don't need your help, as you can see, I did perfectly fine on my own." She said, but she had calmed down. Her eyes burned into his and without thinking she walked angrily towards him. "God you really know how to piss a woman off, is that your specialty or something?" She was trying to sound angry, but she knew the amusing glint in her eyes was telling otherwise, betraying her.

The sun was starting to lower, letting them know it was going into the early evening hours. "We should probably go." She said in a clipped voice as she headed back to his car,
Oh, yes! Love it! I'm off to post in a bit- trying to get the little one to bed,
Alright. :) I'll reply to that shortly!

Riley had decided to go back to work that week, she was going insane just sitting around and doing nothing all day. She was glad to be back to her coffee fetching, file organizing ways. She was making dinner that night, a late thank you from a couple weeks ago. She was making sure she made enough to insist Alex to carry to Archer, she never properly thanked him. The nightmares had subsided and she was feeling a lot better, mostly thanks to the pain medicine the doctor prescribed her. The wound was healing, slowly, but it was still healing. Every now and then she'd have a pounding headache, but by how hard her head hit the ground, it was a given. Riley had contemplated her whole week home moving, those people knows where she lives, what if they come after her again? Well if they did, next time she'd be ready.

Riley was chopping some lettuce up for their salad when the buzz echoed through the whole room. Grinning, she rubbed her hands on her apron and rushed to press the button to let Alex in. She was dressed in dark jeans they looked great on her and a pretty sleeveless caramel colored blouse, cutting low in the front and flaring out at her waist. She had her hair twisted in a side ponytail that set her outfit off and brown boots with heels. She chose not to apply any make-up, only a small amount of lip gloss. Riley grinned when she saw Alex. "Hey!" She said, hugging him gently. It still hurt to put a lot of pressure on her ribs, so she was careful not to hug too hard. "I'm making chicken enchiladas, Mexican rice, and refried beans- all made from scratch. Oh, and salad with some Merlot, Just bought it this morning." She said, bringing out the bottle of wine with a grin.

"It's all almost done." She said, going ahead to pour them each a glass. "Here." She said handing him a wine glass. "To new beginnings." She said, holding up her glass for a toast. The timer to the oven went off and she grabbed two potholders, taking out a pan with the enchiladas in it, covered in red sauce. "Hope you're hungry." She joked, taking out two plates and setting them up at the island. "I made enough for Archer, too. Could you take it to him? It's a thank you." She said, preparing both of their plates. She sat down in the stool next to Alex, smiling. "So, how do you like your new job?" She asked, taking a bite of her food.
