1624 woke in the dark, he felt around him and recognized the cold dented metal container he had spent the night in. He stood and made his way towards the outline of a door shown by the outside light, he pushed the door open and was blinded by light. He took a minute or so for his eyes to accept the contrast before stepping outside onto the hard metal deck outside. He felt the sea wind in his hair and began sneaking about the ship he had used to transport himself from Laranias to Elfteria, he saw crew members now and then and eventually found where they had been coming from. He saw three of them exit a door and he was able to peek inside for a moment seeing sets of lockers no doubt for the crew's clothing, 1624 looked down at his feet and flexed his toes. His mind wandered for a moment before he heard footsteps behind him, he spun around to see a man in an orange vest turn a corner and begin walking towards him. He saw that the man spotted him and the man began reaching for his radio but was stopped by a knee to the stomach then a quick upper cut to the jaw. 1624 cradled the man as he went down to ensure there was no sound, the man looked dazed but not entirely knocked out. 1624 looked at the mans feet covered by black boots then down at his own, 1624 unlaced the boots and pulled them off the mans feet and put them on his own. The man began regaining consciousness and 1624 pulled back his fist and punched the man in the head once again ensuring his silence. 1624 climbed container after container trying to find a view of the nearest landmass, he looked out to the starboard side and saw a large land mass and knew he had arrived, Elfteria. He climbed down from his perch and ran to the side of the ship and threw himself over the side landing in the water with a splash. The cold rush of the water shocked 1624 but only for a moment, he quickly began paddling towards shore and soon pulled himself onto the dock. He continued walking until he saw a truck pulling out of a nearby loading bay, he sprinted over to the truck and climbed on the back. After near an hour of traveling he found himself within a city and felt the truck coming to a stop and quickly hopped off. He walked away and soon found himself in an alley near a box he crawled inside the box and fell asleep, soon after however he was rudely awakened by someone pulling him out of the box. He snapped awake and pushed the man off him, the man reeled back into a group of friends.

"Lookey here," The man said laughing "This one's got a little bit of fight in him, We'll take that from him soon."

The man pushed an accomplice to the left of him towards 1624 and the man brought his fists up and took a swing. 1624 easily pushed the mans hand away and felt his instincts kick in. He grabbed the mans arm as it passed him and pulled it so that the man barreled forward, at which point 1624 put his knee in the middle of the mans chest hearing multiple bones break he pushed the man to the side and prepared for the next assailant. Two men approached this time one wielding a piece of pipe and he swung 1624 put his arm up and felt a minor pain in his forearm but it only stayed with him for a moment or so before he wrapped his arm around the pipe and pulled his back under his arm stopped the man with a flat palm to the chest. 1624 brought the pipe back around and hit the second man with it, he then turned the other way and landed on a knee. He swung the pipe at the first mans legs, they bent backwards and the man screamed in agony. 1624 stood as the man crumbled to his knees and let out a whimper, he looked up at 1624 with pleas of mercy in his eyes. 1624 stepped back and kicked the man in the face possibly shattering his cheek and nose. He heard sirens and looked towards the end of the alley he had come in through he saw an authority's vehicle and spotted a gun he ran away quickly down the alley taking turns eventually coming out onto a road he spotted a diner across the road from him and began running towards it at full speed. A passing vehicle ran into 1624 and his body tumbled over its hood and fell of on the other side of it, he hit the ground hard and looked around. He saw scrapes on his arms and that his hood was torn slightly, he looked around a ringing in his ears. He attempted to stand and managed to get to a knee but all the while blackness crept around the edge of his vision soon he collapsed and fell onto the cold hard ground.
